Separate a large G1 lot?

Hi Everyone!

Firstly, this forum has been so helpful to me!

After many years my Father found my large collection in the basement. I live in a small apartment now and can't keep them around.

Over the weekend I've been classifying and matching weapons to figures. I still have some work to do in that area. I also will take photos of the lot and of the individual toys. It's been fun investigating.

I've taken one photo of the larger figures. (Omega Supreme is not in the photo.) Below is a list of my collection, and which also includes a carrying case, and a Optimus Prime toy that changes your voice when you speak into it.

My question is, do I sell the entire lot together or separate it somehow? Also, what should be my minimum price for the whole lot? When listing I will mention the condition of the pieces and if they are missing parts.

I can add more photos of the rest of the collection once I take them.

THANK YOU!!!

Omega supreme
Sludge
Hound
Kickback
Starscream
Galvatron

Well, from what I have seen and after helping an ebay store or two piece together collections brought to them, I would tell u from a personal stand point, that labeling it and pieceiing it all together as much as possible will get u the most money.

Individual complete pieces would net u the most personally.

or

Completely classify them all (weapons/parts/instructions and label them all and sell as a set.

If u have time and inclination the first option will net u the most.

Also taking the time to post them on T-former sites might put more $$ in your actual walllet since wont be paying ebay fee's as well.

If you do decide to split it up, interested in Grimlock and possibly sludge.

Definitely split up. You will probably be able to sell most of them here.

Woah Crystalboy thank you!

I've been quiet about selling because my Mom found the original boxes for most of the "newer" ones (i.e. not Megatron or Optimus Prime, more like Omega Supreme and the Arielbots), granted that most of them are from '85-'86. I'll pick up the boxes over Thanksgving and repost everything with photos and contact those of you that are interested in my collection.

How much can I add for the original boxes? I have no idea what condition they are in.

All of the transformers that require batteries (Soundwave, Omega Supreme and Trypticon) work. I've tested them.

Also, Sixshot was not on my original list, but I have him too (complete, with box). I see from ebay he's going for around $100. Do you agree?

I must say that doing all this organizing has been GREAT FUN!

From what I've seen, if the original packaging is intact your transformer (pick one, any one) will upto double in price. Again, it depends on the condition.
