Botcon Primus Package on eBay!

File this one under the hopeful but stupid catagory. There's a Primus package on eBay for this years' Botcon. I thought it was an auction for the figures so I bid on it. Then I realized that I can't go to Botcon anyway, and I'd need to be there in person to pick up these toys.
Here's the link:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=016&sspagename=STRK%3AMEBI%3AIT&viewitem=&item=260127932789&rd=1&rd=1

So far I'm winning the auction and my high bid is $75.99.....you know, hoping to get the boxed set on the cheap. I'm hoping some fellow Seibertronian could out bid me at such a cheap price and fix my screw up. All the details are listed in the auction and it's a killer deal considering how much the Primus package costs.

Here's to hoping once again......

Man, BOTCON is getting to be a real hassle to get too.

Anyone wanna go in with me on some lotto tickets so we got a shot at 2008?

I wouldn't doubt that this lot gets higher than the botcon package itself.I think it's coming to the point now that going to Botcon and then selling your figures will actually make you money!

I said it all along, to the people complaining about the cost of those figures. You buy a boxed set and a loose set and the price of those figures drops down from several hundred to NEGATIVE several hundred.

It was the same last year. "Oh, these figures are so expensive! What? You'll pay me more than twice what I paid for my second set? Oh. Well then."

I sold my extra Megatron/Waspinator for $400+. That more than covered what I paid for ALL of the exclusives.

Thanks again, Fender Bender!

The set is not transferable anyway.

According to a recent e-mail from the club:

It has been brought to our attention that someone is trying to sell Primus Packages on Ebay. We do not allow this. Packages are not transferable. We will not transfer a package to anyone else. If you try to do this, we will consider this a package cancellation. We do allow those who can't come (who ordered a Primus package) to convert to a non-attending or Iacon package.

Please keep in mind that anything you bid for online is a non-attending set. We don't want you to bid on something that the owner does not have rights to sell.

Thanks!
