I am not sure where I can post this, so I will post it here.

Over three weeks ago I made a trade with this member for a music label Soundwave. I sent him a complete G1 Omega Supreme, the tank did not work and a yellowed G1 Jetfire with no weapons and accessories. He has confirmed that he recieved the items and he was happy with the trade. He has said to me several times that he was going to send my Soundwave, but never did. I have send him many PMs and he is not responding to them. He has not been on this message board for about two weeks now. I found him on facebook and messaged him with no response.

I have traded and purchased many times on message boards and NEVER had an issue. I am maybe to trusting and should have researched this guy more. It is my fault, however I wanted to let everyone know so you do not get burned by this guy. My only cause of action at this point is to submit a mail fraud case against him to the USPS and try to get him through small claims court. Which will be very difficult since he is in a different state than me.

Please be careful and do not trade with this member, however I am sure he could just make another screen name to do his trades with.

Wow. Sucks. Considering the value involved, and that court is actually an option, have you thought about going to his house, since you have his address? Or is it just too far?

He is in Michagan and I am in Colorado, so showing up to his place would not really be an option. Would be nice, it would also be nice he people would be honest and not screw over fellow collectors.

Post his name and address here. It's really easy to get a different screen name. People just log in through their smartphones, where IP's are constantly changing.

I am not sure I am allowed to do that.

I got a message from his yesturday. He told me that he will be shipping out the Soundwave to me in two days. So by tomorrow and that he will send me a tracking number. As long as everything goes well and I get the trade, I will let all users know and remove this thread. He told me that if we were to do trades in the future that he would send first. So he seems to be owning up to the fact that it will be 4 weeks tomorrow since he recieved my trade. He also said he is very sorry.

This time, make sure you actually have the item in hand and it's in the condition it was promised. Do not cave to any pressure he'll try and give you about closing this thread and pulling any posts. Keep it up here until you get your items.

So after 2 months of waiting for this guy to send my Soundwave.... It finally showed up in the mail today. He actually sent it via priority mail.... It is as he promised and it will look great in my classics collection.

I am glad that it all worked out, but that is not a place anyone wants to be in. This is a place of trust among collectors.
