EBay? Selling Full Alternators Set

I'm about to sell my entire alternators collection. I actually have two full sets of them. One set all opened and another still in sealed boxes. I plan on keeping the loose ones because I modded some of them and added reprolabels to them. But the ones still in boxes are the ones I'll be selling. As well as a Hasbro version of the MP Optimus Prime (the first edition one with burn marks on his body paint. Unfortunly his box is semi standard, he was never opened, so he is mint in box. Plus it has the talking stand that is way better then that second versions.).
What I want to ask of you guys is what do you think a good asking price is. I'm hurting for money at the moment, I really don't want to part with this collection. I need at least $1500. Saw an auction for a near complete set of 23 figures. The guy is asking for $1100. I have all 27 plus the MP Prime. Does it sound like a reasonable price or should I bring it down a little?

Ok, so I setup an auction on EBay with a buy it now at 1300, and starting bid at 1100. It's got about a day and some hourly change left. Here's a link to it. I have to fix the shipping on it though. I didn't realize the box sizes until going to the post office today. Will probably ship through ups store instead of the usps store. I'm a first time seller on EBay, so I know I'm making small mistakes here and there. I'd really like to find a collector who would be interested in putting these in a collection of theirs. I really don't want to go to the jockey lot/flea market and sell them there.

You would probably be better off selling them individually or in pairs. You'd probably get at least some money that way. Very unlikely you'll sell the whole thing, unless someone has the money and time to buy them and put the ones they don't need back on eBay.
