SO DISAPPOINTED in an Ebay purchase!

Title says it all! :(

I got duped in an Ebay purchase. I bought a G1 Shrapnel figure from someone that never listed it as INCOMPLETE, they just showed a front picture of it and it read:

Vintage Transformers G1 Insecticon Shrapnel Decepticon Original Figure !!!

This is a very nice figure.
Every thing is in nice shape with minor play wear.
See pictures for details.
Quarter in Picture for scale

When I got it today, it is missing the 2 yellow legs that are needed for it to stand (lay) in robot/bug mode. SO DUPED! I think this is uncool of the seller no doubt.

Anyway, how can I (or CAN I) go about purchasing those 2 yellow legs?

(yes, I already sent a message to the seller telling them I didn't appreciate the duping)

You were not duped.

You were just a naive fool.

Ahem...

NEVER BUY SOMETHING WITH VAGUE AND IMPRECISE DESCRIPTION THAT HAVE ONLY ONE PICTURE.
ESPECIALLY IF IT JUST SAY"WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET".

I hope you have learned your lesson.

Usually, on Ebay at 7$ or 30$ plus 5$ to 40$ of shipping.

If anyone know a better source for spare parts I'd like to know it myself. I got a couple of incomplete TF that need some parts.

Oh, by the way, the G1 insecticons are usually pretty cheap for some reasons. Just get another junker that have the parts you need and start combining or modding. The price will be ironically the same or even cheaper that a tiny part.

Also, "Settle down"? Dude, you made a noob mistake and you paid the price. I made the EXACT SAME ONE. Several times. So I learned the hard way that you must READ every tiny bits of info about the item that's on sale. If the description is too vague or the seller claim to "know nothing2 and just rely on one blurry photo, it's should be a clear red flag.
Unless the thing is dirt cheap and you dont expect the item to be complete or perfect.

Finally, you may had more responces if you had created this thread in the toy forum instead of here. This is the forum to SELL, BUY or TRADE transformers toys and other things. You dont sell, buy or trade anything. So nobody will bother.
Except me.
Because I'm bored.
And lonely.

I need a hug...

Be prepared to deal with that kind of bull all the time in this hobby.

So a final Ebay advice before I ride to the sunset:

I'm Québécois in Québec. Because of some French laws, TrU REFUSE to sell toys that have an English only box. Obviously, scumbag Hasbro only make the TrU exclusives in English only boxes, not the bilingual French and English ones they should normally use for the Canadian market.

So, I have no choice to rely on Ebay and the scalpers.

When I got my Unicron Special Edition, the Kranix minicon had two right feet. Hasbro would gladly take it back... if I send the WHOLE unicron, pay AGAIN for the shipping, then have it replaced by something random "of equal value" because they cannot replace exclusives.

Oh yeah, more bullshit manifacturing mistakes I got from brand new items bought online:

--Got two right sides of Alternator Optimus Prime's engine.

--Hedgemon's trigger had a missing pin (I managed to fix that fortunately).

--My 90$ Classic Henkei Optimus Prime have a badly botched paint job on his right wing.

Anyway, you get the idea. It's not because it's brand new that the toy will be perfect. The seller cannot know if there's a defect or not... which make the collecting of sealed toys and AFA graded sealed toys even more absurd.

Anyway, good luck for your hunt!
