Today, I went out to a relatively local comic book/vintage toys store (about a 30-minute drive for me both ways) that specializes in vintage Transformers toys from all across the past 35 years of the brand. While predominately focused on G1 toys, there are a number of both loose and packaged toys from everything between G1 and the lines of today. Even some super rare stuff like vintage Microman and Diaclone toys, Machine Robo and GoBots toys, Voltron, Star Wars, TMNT, Jurassic Park, Marvel, DC, G.I. Joe, Action Force, and much more!
While at this store, I happened to pick up a new replacement item for one of the last few figures I had yet to reacquire. In this case, it was a replacement for my long gone Universe Starscream figure. But, I didn't simply pick up a new Universe Starscream. Rather, I picked up a loose Henkei! Henkei! Starscream.
This figure is complete, and even comes with some bonus third-party null rays in addition to the spring-loaded it already comes with. Though, the figure is ever so slightly yellowed in certain places, but nothing too major or noticeable. And, all of its joints are incredibly tight, way more than how floppy my original Universe Starscream was.
So, that's another one off the list. Only three left to go.
Though, the store actually did have both a Hasbro Masterpiece Grimlock and several options for G1 Ultra Magnus (both vintage and Japanese reissues), but all of which were rather pricey, so I passed on them for now (e.g. - the MP Grimlock was $400).
