I theorised this last week, but that was before I knew about Raiden making a comeback  While I do believe the numbers to be ultimately meaningless outside of internal value (I.e. Which order they're supposed to be working on them) they may have made an exception for 50

So, we haven’t had much news lately other than a hint at Rattrap, and train guy. Do you think that’s it next year? The six trainbots and maybe Ratrap? I think it’s gonna be a very bad year for MPs. Well, at least for me. Other than Railracer, I have zero interest in trainbots.

I'm expecting to see MPM Ratchet and Starscream at Toy Fair, but other than the Trainbots and maybe Rattrap, I expect what I just said to be this years lineup

That is technically 6 G1 MPs and a Beast Wars mp plus a fee MPMs. Better than last year by comparison as far as G1 is concerned. I'm sure there will be a few more surprises though.

See, I dunno. There has been one hell of a long time since Jazz and Megatron were announced. Are we shire the line isn’t nixed? All the MPM figures have hit clearance, well, Jazz is a bit new.

I guess it looks really bleak to me because of Raider. I guess I’m just starved for news I want to hear, you know?

We've had 4 or 6 month old rumors for the MPMs, and I highly doubt they would cut that line when there is only 1 single Movie 1 Autobot left.

Thinking about it, we might also see a "plus" repaint or something to that extent.

The reveals lately have been very quiet, I suspect they are holding reveals closer to release dates. we still have nothing beyond the deluxes for the next SS wave as individual images, we only have wave 1 of Earthrise, due at the same time as the Offroad Bee SS wave, and we don't have anything fot the next Cyberverse deluxe wave to finish Maccadam.

long story short, I think they have been working reveals back to only a few months before release for all lines

What I'm really looking forward to is MPM Starscream.
Wake me up when it's finally announced with prototype pictures.

I'd be totally shocked, surprised, and dumbfounded if we don't get a MP+ of Hound.

Well, the heavily modified oversized KO of AoE Hound by Weijiang is pretty damn close to a proper MPM. I have him and he's amazing.
Still, I'm looking forward a proper official take by HasTak.

Also, MPM Grimlock. With how incredible the SS leader is, I wonder how HasTak will tackle it? Also, the size and the price. Because a MPM Grimlock that is properly in scale so that MPM AoE Optimus can ride him (oh, and do him too) as in the picture below would be insane.

Prime 1 Studios made the statue:

Sizes of the statue(s): https://www.toypanic.com/toy.aspx?p=3904

The Prime 1 statue seem to be relatively MPM sized and it cost 1900$US when it came out. Now we would need THAT but TRANSFORMABLE.
:-? Only Haslab could tackle this duo I guess.

No.

It would be the same size as Haslab Unicron at the very least.

Meaning Divorce Class as (Burn?) said.

He meant the Hound that just came out.

I thought the Hound that just came out was made with the anime+ aesthetic by default?

Then the naming convention would be turned around to make it more toy accurate, though it would just be the same but a darker green :-?

Not really for the naming thing, toy version megatron is MP36+ cartoon version wheeljack is 20+, so the pluses don't determine if it is cartoon or toy accurate, just an alterative version.

A toy version hound with the white stars and darker coloring is probably in the works.

Oh I know that's what I meant by saying it was turned around given that AllNew had meant the + to signify anime accurate (as with the case of the recent mp-17+) so the + is just an additional release more or less. I wonder where the numbers would be now if they gave every redeco a unique number.

I was watching an Emgo review of MP Hound recently and I thought it was appalling how well designed he is and yet he preceded Bumblebee 2.0 and Blackarachnia. Someone on the design team is clearly head and shoulders above the others.

All I'll say is that, since they gave MPM Jazz a Break-Apart Death Feature, MPM Starscream had better come with a grappling-claw-bomb deal to attach to his eye, and a blown-up stump to put in place of his head. I want to recreate more than just the grisly Autobot deaths.

Transformers Masterpiece MP-51 Arcee and MP-50 Tigatron Revealed at Wonder Festival 2020

Thought you'd be seeing a few reveals this weekend at Wonder Fest 2020? Previously, it had been teased that we'd be seeing a fully combined Studio Series Devastator, but as we have learned, thanks to TFW2005 boards member S250, the next two entries in the Masterpiece line have been revealed, and they are none other than Arcee, the first female Transformer to have a major role in the franchise, and Tigatron, one of the heroes from the Beast Wars cartoon's Maximal faction! As can be seen from the pictures below, there are already color models (if not actual prototypes) at the Japanese toy festival, taking place this weekend. Accompanying displays state that Arcee is MP-51, and Tigatron is MP-50.

As some observers have pointed out, the Japanese text for these displays state that preorders for these two figures should be coming this spring, likely in just a couple of months.

So what do you think of this big news? Are you excited for either or both of these figures? Let us know in the comments below, and stay tuned for more news from Wonder Festival 2020!

Interesting! So Tigatron is going to be his own new mold then, that's good. Arcee looks fantastic. A question though, who's MP-50 again?
