An ark that transforms? Not sure what that would be like, but the idea reminded me of those cardboard TF bases Hasbro sold back in the 80s. Can Hasbro rerelease those (I think there were 2 different ones)? Or maybe this ark is modular and each piece can open up and connect to form the interior of the Autobot headquarters. (Hey, I can dream!)

For a better comparison of Blackarachnia's original toy head with her cartoon head, here's the toy head in cartoon colors:

Exactly. I do forget how accurate a figure Silverbolt was though. If only his beast back had a hinge to bring it down flush.

And for Tontons next trick, he's pulling a tank out of the hat. No doubt if they ever do another Beast wars Stampy he will pull that out of the hat too

Really surprised they don't do more with Warpath. Such an interesting design for an Autobot.

Here's TonTon's Warpath vide review in case someone hasn't seen it yet. He looks pretty good to me!

New Video Review of Transformers Kingdom Deluxe Class Warpath

Greetings Seibertronians! Thanks to the keen eyes of fellow Seibertron users, Praxiusprime77, Hokutron and Aronjlove, we've learned that YouTube toy reviewer, TonTon Reviews has uploaded another Transformers Kingdom review! This time, it's everyone's favourite tank minibot, Warpath! Kapow!

While not the first update this classic character has received, this one looks to be the most faithful to the toy and the animation model from the G1 cartoon.

We have embedded the review below for your convenience:

What do you think of Warpath? Will you be getting him? Ley us know in the Energon Pub and stay tuned to Seibertron for all the latest news and reviews!

"Upcoming is the medic himself."

Warpath is probably not as good as I would have liked him to be, but not unacceptable. He's definitely shorter than Moist.

Nearly perfect for what I'm looking for in a cartoon minibot. Taller than Bee, shorter than a G1 Deluxe Car. Not thrilled about the forearms, but it means the transformation is even closer to the original toy than I expected. Anyone that was hoping for a taller figure will have to settle for the old Generations one.

Tank treads suffer from looking too big in bot mode, need compressing in some impossible way. The feet were kinda like small roller treads to me in the cartoon and it might have helped having the angled side of the treads facing outwards on the forearms rather than it just being a white block. modern transformers might have gained poseability but they feel like they are sacrificing some of the wizardy that could be applied to transformations. Feels like it needs some feet fillers otherwise it's going to have to be stood sationary to hide it.
I'm happy with it size wise and it will probably look good in tank mode paired with Omega Supremes base mode.
If Hasbro do a MP of this guy I'm sure it will more than rival third partys.

No shield or parts forming, not sure if it could have benefited from it but it looks fairly good as is.

This looks like a fine figure, but there's nothing about it that screams to me that this is such an upgrade over the previous figure that I've got to get him. And so I won't.

I wonder what all the talk of a parts forming shield was all about with regards to Warpath :-?

I'm guessing the leaker saw his butt flap pop off and just assumed it turned into a shield.

I like it. The size is pretty much spot on, I wouldn't have been happy if he was the same size as Cliffjumper, but I know there's others that didn't want him to be the size of a normal deluxe so it's a fine compromise. Engineering-wise he has a nice sense of complexity compared to Cheetor (who didn't need to be that complex to begin with).

I don't think I'm going to get him, I have the Generations Warpath and I'm more than happy to just stick with that. Like yeah the extra articulation is nice and Kingdom Warpath isn't a H-tank (even though I still like the Generations tank more in spite of that), but I just don't feel motivated to cough up the $20 to get him when I have the Generations one and I like the look of that more. Except for the head. The G1 head looks a lot more like a guy who would run around yelling "KABLAM! KAPOW! ZOWEE!" than the serious looking Generations head.

I'm so shocked with Hasbro - the king of repaints. They do not mske a mold unless they can milk at least 10 different versions of repaints out of it. So ypu would thibk they would have took the horrible waste of a chatacter slot of Earthrise Voyager Megatron and made him Warpath, right? That was my very first thought when I heard about this Megatron 6 months ago. It was an obvious no brainer they would reutilize the mold and actually give us what we want...A nice large sized g1 accurate non "H" tank, but one that has full treads. Hasbro, why on God's earth would you spend and waste money on a new smaller mold when all you had to do was add a new head and some red paint on Eathrise Megs and call it a day. I would have so wanted that. But now that you instead made this smaller mold, what are you going to do with it? How are you going to adhear to your cheap policies and reutilize this mold into more characters? The only one I can think of is Blitzwibg, but I wouldn't even buy that one because it would be too small. You should have just used Earthrise Voyager Megatron as a mold for Warpath and retool it for Blitzwing. Such a wasted opportunity and a waste of money developing a smaller mold for Warpath that cannot be reutilized for any other mainstream G1 character.

Definitely down for one of these. Worst case scenario I’m not into him, I’ll swap out 2010 Warpath and put this new one on my tank shelf along with my other tank Transformers and expended tank rounds (don’t ask how I got ‘em, let’s just say I’ve become adept at “tactically acquiring” while out in field missions).

Honestly I think you could get more mileage out of this Warpath than Megatron. You can squeeze out obscure dudes like Gutcruncher (who I’m really hoping for) and Gobots Treds and maybe other characters. Megatron is so unique to himself that it’s hard to do anyone else other than different versions of himself, it was the biggest reason why I didn’t buy Combiner Wars Warpath. The recently revealed Selects G2 version is pretty good, and I could see them doing the purpley G2 Hero version as well, and if they’re feeling really saucey maybe even do a Robots in Disguise Bludgeon

Mean green is the obvious choice... Okay so I dunno his name but the ehobby dimension explorer guy would even fit the Kingdom theme.

...okay, I've missed a bit. Let's see here...

Cheetor, Blackarachnia, and Warpath all look great, first off, I'm buying all of them. Ark would be cool, but I have yet to buy a Titan figure and I don't intend to start now.

In terms of a battle-damaged Netflix Cheetor, there is an advantage here over the repaints of the G1 guys in that there were episodes of BW where they actually had battle damage. If they do anything resembling the systems damage from Dark Voyage, that would I think be best case scenario.

Decepticon Stryker wrote:On another note, have there been any rumors of a Tarantulas figure? If there is one, it'd have to be either a new mold or very extensive retool of Blackarachnia.

Nothing on Tarantulas in the leak of the entire mainline, so he'll have to be an exclusive of some sort.

Having gone and fact-checked the shield leaks:
Leaker 1 (OG Kingdom leaker): Shield exists, those unhappy about Cliffjumper won't like it
Leaker 2 (Credible from Siege/ER): Shield exists, more akin to Trailbreaker's in that it isn't a giant piece of his altmode, around buckler size, pegs into underside of tank to help hold it together, TonTon is missing the piece entirely or is going to make an entire second video about it because he missed it in this one like the Blackarachnia mask.

There's also the leaked Slammer, which is currently theorized to be a retool of this Warpath, and a Voyager Warpath would have been too big anyway (unless this was a figure of WfC/FoC Warpath out of nowhere).

Warpath looks nice in both modes, but I am disappointed that he's going to be smaller than most other Deluxes. It's gone from my "Absolutely definitely will buy" list to low down on my "Hmmm....maybe" list.
