Looking more at my Cosmos, I can't help but notice how evil his face looks. This face was designed for a Decepticon.

Opened up Cosmos this morning. Gorgeous, neat transformation, nearly perfect, no notes.

I had hoped his torso would be shorter, maybe partially covered by his legs and back, but now that I have him in hand I don't care at all.

I thought I was going to find Cosmos this morning on my way to work. I was wrong. Yesterday, I stopped by a Walmart that had done its toy reset and put up the Velocitron deluxe class tags. A helpful employee scanned them and said they were being delivered on the truck due in later that day. He even went into detail on the logistics of getting them off the truck, out of the pallets, and unto the shelves, saying that they would be available the next morning. When I dropped by this morning, nothing had changed. Apparently, they’re now due to arrive on today’s truck instead. That sucks for me, because this Walmart is near my work, which is 45 minutes away from my home, so checking on the weekend will mean wasting a lot of gas. Why can’t Walmart just get their **** together? I want to give them my money, but they can’t get past their own crushing incompetence and apathy.

Does anyone have UPC for Cosmos and Clampdown?

I tried going back to see if someone posted them earlier in the thread but couldn't find anything.

Given how many Cons he killed in his short appearances in the G1 comics, that sounds appropriate.

I'll take your money if that helps.

Anyone have an issue where the Wheel piece on Burn Out's Left foot is loose and not slotting in correctly?

Edit: It might be that the used two right foot wheel pieces on my figure?

Edit 2: Apparently I am mistaken and my Burn out Just has a loose left foot wheel piece.

Edit 3: Okay, I DEFINITELY figured it out this time! One of the holes drilled in her Left Foot to told the tabs from the wheel piece wasn't big enough to actually catch the tab. Just a minor error that can be fixed with a VERY delicate amount of plastic carving!

Final Edit: Yup, that was exactly it. Took some very small tweezers and carved out the plastic to the correct hole shape (It had been incorrectly drilled into a small oval instead of a full circle) and now the piece slots in perfectly and Burn Out has a nice and level standing posture!

But who? His design is so unique, as far as I know no one else can use it. The TR got a repaint into Scrounge, but that couldn't be done with this Cosmos.

In fairness, G1 Cosmos' character model had somewhat sinister, squinty eyes:

Historically speaking though, I think Cosmos' molds have only ever been re-used for Path Finder and Scrounge, both of whom are pretty up there as far as being a "Good Guy" goes.

If he had a conehead, his face would look like Armada Thrust. But his body is still so different no Decepticon could use it.

I think only Cosmos could rock that noggin (and Path Finder, who is just Blue Cosmos).

But now that I've been looking at the figure quite a bit, I wonder if they couldn't make a heavily retooled Warpath figure using this mold?

Replace the head, change the top part of the UFO to a more Tank Turret design, and replace the outside bits of the UFO with Tank bits (With the Parts that turn into Cosmos' arms becoming the Treads for the Tank) and you'd have a pretty easy Warpath figure!

Nothing at all. But if they'd do Ironhide again so soon, I don't see why they couldn't do Warpath again a little down the road.

Difference is, a lot of people were unhappy with ER Ironhide (those that could get him in the first place), I think we're fine with Warpath for now ;)

That's a fair point. Kingdom Warpath really doesn't come up short as far as design goes.

And that's the most likely repaint, especially after they did Bug Bite and Road Ranger.

Still no Velocitron in my area. The case of Road Haulers were nowhere to be found and the tags still haven't been put up. They did do a nice job of cleaning up the aisle, but it's pretty empty.

This looks almost exactly like the TF section at my Walmart...
But I'm thinking in the next week or two this subline will start showing up.
Fingers crossed, because I really want Cosmos.

Cosmos is the bot who is following, and probably reporting on the race and then gets to wave the flag for the winner.

Or, he was chucked in the Velocitron line since it still had slots open and he got a new accessory to make him fit in better.

O, that image of Mario Kart Lakitu has me thinking: would Animated Prowl's traffic light weapon fit?

We know from the design team that they had always intended to include him in the line, but was originally going to be a retool of Origin Bumblebee until Takara Tomy stepped in and said they'd make a new figure for him. The flag was likely always part of the plan or at least since they decided to do a race theme.
