The 10/27 stream that's supposed to start right about now is actually pre-recorded because the Hasbro team when to MCM, and the video got uploaded early to YouTube before getting taken down, so for those who don't mind spoilers the only new thing they're showing today is Commander Magmatron, surprisingly.

EDIT: Video is back up, shot it to news but I'll also post it here if anyone without Premium wants to check it out in the meantime. https://youtu.be/bQDGvr0oGqs?si=AuVWoHvVo5vvuppK
Once I remember how the YT embed works I'll replace it with that, I'm working on it.

The 10/27 stream was actually pre-recorded because the Hasbro team when to MCM London (news on that to come), and you can watch that video below. We get our first look at commander class Magnatron (which yes, confirms Tidal Wave as 2024's Titan). You can watch the reveal below. We also get a look at Code Red, the Stranger Things crossover figure, as well as Legacy Silverbolt. All will come out next year but preorders for Code Red and Magmatron will be up at 5/6 pm eastern, depending on whether you have pulse premium or not.

2 extra things to note:
- Magmatron does have his third Chimera mode
- There is a hint to Big Convoy on Magmatron's box

Is that part of Big Convoy I sew in the artwork there?

They absolutely nailed Magmatron here, looking forward to how Tidal Wave turns out though that'll be a few months before his reveal.

*Edited, gotta see its dinosaurcentipede mode now :)

The long neck doesnt seem to be long enough and is going to need a lot of hasbro offshoot filler pieces. Lack of space marble faction symbols or whatever they were on the original figure aint great too but looks awesome and a definite buy for me.

Man, super excited about Magmatron, he looks amazing! Big and chonky, he looks perfect. Going to order off Amazon in hopes the price gets reduced like Ultra Magnus was, unless there's a good discount on on Target later.

Man I love the variety we have with Commanders of late, from tall bot Jetfire to space dino Sky Lynx, and I also dug the trailer-hauling trio with each character doing something unique like with Rodimus having a battle platform, Motormaster being a combiner, and Armada Prime using a super mode and being from entirely different continuity. So this is an instant pre-order for me.

That Magmatron is amazing.

And no spark crystals/"space marbles"? I see at least two. One of the left wing of Skysaur where it should be. The second is on the hilt of the sword where it should be. The third was on the inside of the shield correct? So it's probably there as well and we just couldn't see it.

I obviously see the main sword missile that comes with Landsaur and the two sword missiles that come with Skysaur. I wonder if the two standard missiles that come with Seasaur will also be included.

Most likely I'll be getting two of these. One as Magmatron and the other...also as Magmatron but as a Beast Machines Maximal. T-Wrecks is finally going to have someone to hang out with.

Magmatron looks amazing.

Might not pre-order him immediately though. If he's not due till summer of next year...
Also, I have MP Rhionx pre-ordered for about the same time. not sure I can justify almost $300 bucks all at once on pre-orders.
Will likely have to skip him, and see if I can find him later on sale.
How many people out there are Beastwars Neo fans that know about Magmatron or that remember the Target Exclusive release of him during Beastmachines in North America? Hopefully not many. :-D

I once owned the original and he's one fiddly annoying thing to combine. Plus the overall bot is a brick. I sold it to my geek store some years ago.
So, unless you come across the original for cheap, there's no reasons to get it now that the modern version is just around the corner.

Unless, of course, you're building a vintage collection. I still want the original to go with my vintage collection and the new one for my modern collection.

This looks so good I really want to see Magnaboss and Tripredicus made, but I think they could sell those as individual figures that combine rather than taking up a Commander slot.

Obviously, for a vintage collection.

As for Tripedacus and Magnaboss, it would be IMPOSSIBLE to make them as a Commander boxset simply because the bots have each a robot mode. Add the fact that it would be at least two deluxes and a voyager for a set, plus accessories, and the Commander budget is busted.

What I would like to see is that each bots would be released individually as two deluxes and one voyager... and make them compatible with each other! This way, we could create some original abomination by mix-n-matching Trippy and Magna parts! It would be fun and logical to make them this way.

And while we'll have this new system, why not make an original character or two or three to make a new combiner and to add a bit more possibilities?

Uh, two Deluxes and a Voyager costs US $85 while a Commander is $90, well within budget. Plus there's no reason for a set to be restricted by price classes, both Prowl and Cicadacon can be inbetweeners like the originals. More than a Core but less than a Deluxe.

But again, I don't think that's the right way to go anyway, they should be individual releases like most other combiners.

Though if you want to get picky, Menasor could be considered Motormaster's super mode with the way he was built.

Otherwise I agree, it's great to see the commanders so far being versatile. Next new(-ish) concept? Overlord.

And while we'll have this new system, why not make an original character or two or three to make a new combiner and to add a bit more possibilities?

I personally re envision them combining similarly to the GO! Shinobi and Samurai teams. Just without all three being able to become all three parts of the combined form. So I guess more like Rail Racer. So the top is only the top, the middle is always the middle and the bottom is always the bottom. I also wanted all five combiners in on this too. I go back and forth about adding Magmatron but since he's a multibot and not a combiner, I left him out.

Prowl, Ramhorn, Gekisoumaru, Kenzan and Railspike would all form the arms, upper chest and head. I'd also put Seasaur here if adding in Magmatron.

Silverbolt, Cicadacon, Hishoumaru, Jinbu, Rapid Run and Optimus Exprime would all form the torso and backpack. This is where Skysaur would go.

Ironhide, Sea Clamp, Sensuimaru, Ganoh and Midnight Express all forming the legs and pelvis. Landsaur would be here.

This is the configuration for GoKenzan and GoGekisou as well as Rail Racer. It also mostly lines up with how Magnaboss and Tripredacus work. This way they can all be interchangeable with each other. It can also leave some to be retools of each other too as there's two birds and two trains in the center and two lions on top.

From there they can go on to redeco and retool into existing and new characters for more combinations as you said. Maybe at some point make a Kenzan and Gekisoumaru that form just legs so they can form DaiKenzan and DaiGekisou along with Optimus Exprime. Or just make versions of all seven of them (or all of them in general) that can each become one of the three spots on the combiner. So we can create a three stack combiner with all pieces being the same bot. Kind of like what can be done currently with Hishoumaru.

Each figure only becoming one part of the combiner as it's most likely way too difficult to get them to have all five modes look good. At least this way they's only three modes for each figure. That to me just seems more easily achievable.

Just my thought on what you said. Been in my head for a while.
