Same with the TR Fort Max restock.

It's reaching a point where we need to bring this feedback to Hasbro. If enough of us make noise, they might address it with Pulse. You can't even get those figures on Pulse, so you know it's bad. I don't see much on the secondary market either in the states. So someone screwed up BAD. I can't even find Snarl and the Dinobots are usually overstocked. The last TF I got was SS86 Frenzy and that was just mere luck coming across him at my Gamestop.

And it's not just the distribution issues either. There is also the matter of a certain seeker some bonehead thought would be great to include in that waste of a shelfwarmer, Toxitron, line.

Amiami has in stock: Beachcomber, Devcon, Shrapnel, Bombshell, Axlegrease, Crashbar and Strongarm all for $18.04 USD. SS84 Frenzy (red) at $9.24. SSGE Megatron on sale for $24.31. SSGE Optimus for $28.33. Bludgeon for $27.33. They also have Takara unique decos for the Earthspark line available. Not to mention their used stock that's always pretty interesting to go through like a $9.64 Kenzan from GO! but sounds don't work.

The exchange rate is in favor of the USD currently. So everything is technically below retail as a result. Even when factoring in shipping costs, getting from AMIAMI will be about the same or less than standard US retail. Which is also cheaper than getting from BBTS. Well, so long as you get a few figures to spread out the shipping costs.

That's just AmiAmi too. I'm sure someone here has a better store in mind. It was just the easiest site for me to check.

Preaching to the choir. See my haul post, that's how I got my Bombshell. But definitely worth repeating. ;)^ Didn't know they got those guys back in stock along with SSGE WFC Optimus Prime so thanks for pointing that out, they were sold out last I checked.

You're welcome. I had to get a few from there as well. I just tried to point out all the ones that people seem to have been having a difficult time getting or ones I noticed were going for more than retail on Amazon...and Strongarm for some reason. I didn't want to leave her out even if she doesn't meet either criteria.

I picked up Beachcomber, Shrapnel, Axlegrease, Twitch and a few Crashbar from there. I couldn't find the first three for retail anywhere. Twitch to see what the color differences were (and if it's worth getting more...it's not really) and because my Hasbro version was missing paint on one of her thighs. The Crashbar I just wanted more of and by that time he was going for almost double. I have six now.

While waiting for Shrapnel to come in, I ended up getting one from Christmas. Not only that but while my mother was visiting my brother across the country, they managed to find one on shelves in a Walmart that same week. So I went from zero to three Shrapnel in one week. That was fun. Luckily I sort of wanted three. I have three Kickback as well. Just waiting to make an order for another two Bombshell.

Here's the post from Mark Maher for Sandstorm. Kind of sad the music wasn't the Darude song but anyways, these pictures look fantastic. I like that the buggy mode can also use the rope, that's fun. And I like that the Chopper has the big tires concealed under there. I'm excited to get this guy to go with Springer and Broadside

I kinda wanna do a little desert scene
Sandstorm goes to meet with Detritus (thinking he's an autobot), gets ambushed by him and Inferno. Then out of nowhere comes Beast Wars Sandstorm to RKO Detritus and even the odds

It's ironic that Beast Machines Cheetor is a core class figure, considering how massive some of the original toys were.

On the other hand, that gives us a size-accurate Maximal toy to go with the Deluxe and up Autobot and Decepticon toys. ;)

We NEED a Core Transmetal Megatron to go with the upcoming Commander Prime

Yeah, but it'd be more expensive and less accesible. Megatron was about a third as tall as Optimus anyway, dramatic angles aside.

The closeup shot of Megatron getting in Prime's face is the only shot where Prime's head is as big as Megatron's whole upper body. In all other shots in both that episode and the next one, Prime is scaled down to better have his head be smaller than the full bodies of the BW cast.

In other words, this was a one-off anomaly done for dramatic effect:

While this was more consistent with every other shot:

To be fair Optimal Optimus is practically "G1" size.

Well, here's another head size comparison, between the two Megatrons (G1 Megatron's noggin is of comparable size to that of Optimus Prime). Their heads aren't nearly as dramatically different as Prime's head was when compared to BW Megatron's in that closeup I posted above:

This means that Megatron was facing a giant Nendoroid Optimus. ;)

Yeah, that's my point. Megatron is smaller, but not tiny compared to him. Although the original Transmetal would still be too big compared to what is essentially a slightly taller than voyager bot, and old masterpiece figures can be hard to get, so a core class would be the easier route. It doesn't have to be accurate to the millimeter, just reasonably smaller than Optimus.

Here's the entire first sequence, Megatron is consistently shown as being tiny compared to Optimus.

During the sequence with Optimal Optimus, he still has to fly up to put the Matrix back in a sitting Prime's chest.

And again in the sequence with G1 Megatron TM Megatron is still tiny.

There's no inconsistencies, the BW crew are always really small compared to the G1 guys.

With Blitzwing seemingly not doin too well I guess it's not looking good for a new Octane or Atrotrain. lol

Blitzwing sales can't really be blamed on him, he got released twice after all. That's on Hasbro overestimating his popularity.

It was said in a previous livestream by, IIRC, Evan Brooks that they are open the idea of doing a Studio Series 86 version of Astrotrain, but that it wouldn't be an new mold but just a redeco of Siege Astrotrain with more show-accurate colors (and, of course, no battle damage paint splotches).

If only Legacy Blitzwing wasn't such a huge pile of garbage, I'd buy it. When 3P is doing better at Scout scale, there's a problem.
