I was just about to post this. Overlord was the first thing that came to mind, but the tank treads on Twin Twist was the dead giveaway to me.

Either way, this is a fantastic re-use of existing molds, possibly with new parts. Awesome and thank you, Takara Tomy!

At first glance, but it turns out he is not. It is a very clever repurposing of tooling we got in Titans Return, take a look:

Props go to Takara. Hopefully it won't be prohibitively expensive.

Yeah, it being an exclusive will also raise the price. I really wish it wasnt, always makes it pricier for no good reason and makes it less obvious to get for international fans.

I will get it though.

Where is Misfire in that mess? I don't see his mold re-used. I definitely see Overlord and Twin Twist though.

Just a guess regarding Sonic Bomber's mold. It could be a different jet, or maybe even an all new mold. Hard to tell from that pic, frankly.

This was something I NEVER expected. I can't wait to see robot modes and coloured pictures.

He is in the front, the black jet component of Big Powered. You can match Misfire's cockpit shape and especially the details at the side fo the cockpit, which appear to be unchanged. Plus the arms atthe side have the same transformation and joints.

Look at the details I mention above and it will become more obvious of it beign Misfire. Its not a guess, or at least not moreso than the others.

I actually agree that it's a mess but hey, it's a gray model. I bet color will help. As is, the G1 combined vehicle mode is cleaner.

I am happy to be getting updated versions of the characters and think the robot modes will probably look great!

The arms are the really noticeable part. Other than that, there isn't much, but it looks like that front jet shares the Misfire arms

Not so sure about that, I was about to post that the original G1 version was a bit of a mess too in that goofy combined mode, but I still think this is extremely awesome ... mess and all!

The arms are the really noticeable part. Other than that, there isn't much, but it looks like that front jet shares the Misfire arms

Yah, I can see it now. It's the left side below Misfire's cockpit that I can see is getting re-used, though the canopy and front is entirely remolded.

This is glorious and only make Star Saber's absence from a main line all the more grating, unless he's coming up in Siege. Because at this point every major 'good guy lead' is getting a new figure.

Conversely, the existence of both this new set and the current God Ginrai set makes me even more glad that the MP Star Saber figure scales so well with the Generations/Legends toys, being the height of a CW Combiner like how Star Saber was combiner-sized in the cartoon.
