Lockdown may need some careful consideration. :-? Canonball was a waste of plastic that could have been used towards a different figure...'nuff said!!! :VEHI:

The OG captain of the pirates (and the only one of these characters who was actually a pirate from the very beginning) was a wasted pick for the pirate subline?

Liking lockdown but only as drones/troopers for any other lockdown figure to command. Filch is my main would like out of the set. Repainted cyclonus is okay but cannonball is as clunky as the original cannonball and not something I'd want again after having the baynus version of crankcase.

Digibash from Twitter

I would actually say it does not.

I am good with Cannonball as he is, but if we really were to get one of Cybertron's main characters, unlike the selects Hot Shot, I would like to see him get a new mold, or at least a more fitting one.

Cannonball works better simply because he is the TF equivalent of the Dread Pirate Roberts, and has already had 2 toys with different designs, so he can look different and we can pretend it is a new iteration of the character

I don't think ND likes that mold, not necessarily the character. I'm not particularly fond of it myself, but it was adequate for Skids. Now they are just beating it in to the ground on everything.

Sheesh, Skids has seen so little love that now he's the one leading the redeco/retool parade! Must be an honour heh.
These all look fantastic honestly, really eager to pick these up. Might even pose the Cannonball and Ferak figures alongside the old convention set ones! ;)^

Maybe this has been discussed before, but I just realized last night that United appears to be trying to hit every major TF milestone for the 40th anniversary:

G1 cartoon: Gears
G1 Marvel comic: Mayhem squad
G2: Laser Prime repack (Road Pig too once he's revealed in case of newer figure)
BW: Silverbolt
BWII: Tasmania Kid
BWN: Magmatron
BM: Cheetor
RiD2001: Omega Prime
Armada: Tidal Wave
Energon: Megatron
Cybertron: Starscream
Live Action Movie: Lockdown
Animated: Optimus
Prime: Thundertron
RiD2015: Filch
Cyberverse: Windblade
IDW2019 comic: Breakdown (he has that mayhem symbol, I'm going with it)
TFCC: Cannonball (kinda-sorta)

So I think all we are really missing so far is someone to represent in Legacy:
Japanese G1
Dreamwave
IDW2005
Earthspark
OTFCC

Again, these are just "major" stories/timelines/comic owners/etc., so I am not counting things like Last Bot Standing, individual live action movies, Beast Wars comic(s), etc.

I'm getting ALL of the Legacy Skids family.
Including the Masterpieces.

I really love these molds.

Heh, same honestly, it's a very nice mold! It's nice to finally have a good modern Skids heh.

I don't know what it is about that figure but I LOVE Shard. It's almost got an organic appearance to it despite the "Rock Lord" theme.

The original Rock Lords always did look, to me, like they could easily fit in with and pal around with the Beast Wars cast. Just imagine those original designs animated by Mainframe and interacting with the Maximals and Predacons on prehistoric Earth. 8-)

I've said before, there are very few items other than what's on my very short wish list, that I want to obtain. But the "izers" have been fun additions since 2019. But as said, the newest ones look amazing. Cant wait to get Shard.

Shard does look great
I may just have Shard as a star raider since I'll likely have lockdown be his own bot

And if there are Shard repaints/retools down to line, I will most likely bite

Talking about wave 2 of United and I still haven't seen a single wave 1 figure in stores yet other than core class lol!

Ugh, yeah, same here. I don't think there's many collectors in my area it seems!

Gears, dogbot and T30 sansdstorm for me. Only thing I dont like about starscream is the peg/clip bitson top near the front of the alt mode, not a deal breaker but something i'm not keen on.

Sandstorm if his feet can be mistransformed to give him thicker feet rather than the abomination of just helping him to stand up. Must say though, Haslab omega prime needs to take his wheels, Sandstorms look to be two parts and not a thin mess with hardly no tires. I'd have to wait until it dropped to Deluxe price anyhoos so hence sticking to T30.

Totally. And the fossilizers! I've said this before and I'll say it again: Fossilizers and the new Rock guys should have been their own toyline, with a comic or a cartoon backing them up. They're so fun and new yet really in line with the transformers concept. I wish they had bios on the packaging, a website or something at least. Specially since the design team clearly thinks about this, in the last stream Maher gave a back story for the new little hammer guy...

That is an excellent idea. Ive been begging for ANYTHING new and not G1 based for several years and been disappointed every time. Transtech was my go to, but a Rock Lords or Fossilizers themed show would have....

....wait for it....

...totally rocked!

Starscream is gorgeous. Bought on sight.. err… preordered on sight.

Chronia is o.k.

Was not planning on getting Shard, but it looks so good. And that large shield/pick axe mode so cool.

Sandstorm is also looking fine. So many things I want, wallet gonna scream.
