My fear was going to be you wouldn't be able to find Refractor because everyone was going to buy all three from the case to make the camera, which I don't hold that against anyone, because I would do the same, but that's what's been happening locally. I've seen his case mates in a couple of stores, otherwise every store seems to be stocking up on wave one. In fact those sames stores that I found Brunt and Red Alert, then got in fresh stock of wave 1.

When I was asked If I found everything alright, I told them no.
When I was asked what I was looking for I told them, The new wave of Transformers, you keep restocking the old one.
To that the response was a blank look and "oh"

I wonder if we’ll see Omega Supreme at Wal-Mart now.

The Rainmakers’ colors are less obnoxious than I thought they’d be; largely due to the battle damage; but when looking at them alongside another mostly single color Seeker with a bit more accent coloration in Thundercracker, it becomes apparent that they probably need a bit more dark grey and/or white. I know they’re accurate to the show, but a little deviation from the source would have helped. Regardless, I like them a lot and I’d definitely recommend the set.

You know, $20 is a lot to pay for a toy where the feet just hang off the back of the vehicle mode.

So having patience has paid off. At a Walmart in Portsmouth, VA, there was two Jetfires on the shelf. Of course that was around 0830 my time but awesome to actually buy him in the store. Totally amazing!

My guess is Ratchet, since there was a recent review that was front paged.

I was actually grinning when I took Skyfire out of the box. Was already impressed with the last iteration, but this guy, the size, and cartoon-accuracy.. he looks like he stepped out of the cartoon.
Although they did use some of that "shampoo bottle" plastic with this one, too, I think. But he still feels fairly hefty.

Some steps of his transformation are really fun and innovative. If you've been buying Transformers consistently for the past several years you can see how the HasTak designers keep coming up with new tricks, it's impressive. I quite like the wing transformation, and how his feet fold (expected it to be like Megatron but instead they fold very compact.) The boosters transformation is also pretty neat. Or how they kept the shape of his nosecone in robot-mode but still allow some waist rotation. The compression of his backpack.. it's all great.
Was worth avoiding "spoilers."
(And of course rotating symbol and port-less open hands.)

Love that they included lots of guns in addition to the one specified in his model sheet -- and even that one can split into two rifles! I like that they kept the "Jetfire" armour gimmick. And I finally have some Siege effects! Didn't expect them to be made of that kind of rubbery plastic though. Wish they were more glassy and transparent like those other effects I got from HLJ a few years back. (Now I need purple effects for the Decepticons!)

Yeah, he looks amazing. Spot on. My only complaint is that the feet should have been completely black, without the center white.

Now I have to get Siege Starscream to go with this? :-? I think they could do better. No CHUG figure has done him justice yet.

A couple of things I had to do straight out of the box, with MP-10 Spike...

I've pondered this as well. Last year I did see marvel Legends Infinity gauntlet and Thor's hammer which are pretty pricey. Also WM will occasionally carry $100+ Hasbro SW toys, but unfortunately it's just too soon to know for sure.

Unfortunately all the WM I've visited recently ares still setting up and resetting their toy aisles, so things are pretty chaotic.

A seller from Hong Kong had some. It's a TRU exclusive over there.

I know this, but I can't pull it up in the search results, even as a Sold Listing. All I get is the cards

I said this before, but a guy on Facebook operating under Grimlock's Forge is making resin copies of the Blast Effects. I have a purple clone of Jetfire coming for my Megatron figure. They look great!

Finally! I got my paws on the Target Rainmaker 3-Pack! I had to stop by Target on my way home and checked the Transformers section (as I almost always do). Again, the tag was on the shelf, but there was no product. One of the staff there looked it up for me, and lo and behold, there was ONE left at a different store 15 minutes away. He was kind enough to call on my behalf and have them set it aside at their customer service desk for me! This more than makes up for the fact that, by the time I got home, I found I was running a fever.

Just checked my local Target. They finally reshuffled the toy section and have the Rainmaker 3 pack tag out. Hopefully this means that the Rainmakers will be in stock soon, but I'm not going to hold my breath on it. They also had the Decepticon Sports Car Patrol, but I decided against snagging them until I check the other Wal-Mart and Target in my area for Jetfire and the Rainmakers

I picked up the Micromaster 10-pack at Target, but no Rainmakers there yet (they did have the price tag up). The set is great, it's nice to have modern versions of my two favorite Micromasters, Groundshaker and Skyhopper, in modern updates. My only issue is that my Ricon figure has too much paint in his chest hole to stick a peg in so I can't combine him with Irontread. :(

I have a question for all of you, just out of pure curiosity: why are the Rainmakers such a must-have for everyone? Is it the colors? The seeker mold? Or just because they represent obscure characters? I'm honestly curious, because I have yet to have any inkling whatsoever to pick these up. They just do nothing for me. I understand it's personal preference, I just haven't seen anyone else say they aren't that interested. Everyone seems to be drooling over these. Maybe once I see them in stores myself, I'll see what the big deal is.

I'll chime in and say, I have ZERO interest in these, as they do not fall into the spectrum of what I like to collect. However I do think it is extremely impressive, and enjoyable that they are releasing such obscure characters, ones that *arguably* might not even be named if not for the fan obsession with the minutiae of the series.

I've been asking myself this for the last few weeks, and I'm still not sure. There is an element of FOMO, but I'm usually not curious about redecoes at all. I think I just want a seeker army? I have the six cartoon characters in their Classics incarnations, but I didn't get obsessive about that mold like I have with this one.

I was originally turned off by the design, but I find it's very fun to transform. As soon as I got a figure stand, I used it to show the Cybertronian mode in flight.

I dunno, man, it's just ... fun.

I'm kind of in the same boat. I'm certainly down for Skywarp and Thundercracker when they're available, but I'm not going to have room for the Rainmakers and Redwing (and possibly even more offbrand Seekers) even wanting to army-build some Decepticons.

I do like them, and I'm glad they got produced, but I'm not able to get every single Siege figure.

For me, it's the combination of the following factors:
-I like the look of the Seeker mold and really like that we're getting tetrajets, but I have no interest in getting the main three again
-Acid Storm is my favorite Seeker
-The fact that obscure characters are getting their first-ever figures, like you mentioned (Seriously, when are Ion Storm and Nova Storm EVER going to get figures again after this?)
-The set costing less than buying 3 individual Voyagers makes it more appealing
-More unique Decepticons are always something I want, particularly from this trilogy/line given that I have twice as many Bots as I do Cons so far from what Siege has put out that actually interests me.
-I don't own a single version of the Classics Seeker mold, so I don't have the Seeker completion fatigue I've seen some people display
-Their blindingly monochromatic neon paint jobs and matching battle damage splotches make them remind me of poison dart frogs, and that's awesome

I'm probably going to pass only because other things I want nore, but it was the Rainmakers that really tempted me to get into this mold.

For one thing for me, i like seeing more new characters beyond the scope of what we always get. But larger than that, the Seekers are the first really de-fscto Army Builder Decepticon. We've seen a random bumber of Reflectors, the Sharkticons, later we got the Prime Vehicons, but the Seekers were the first. And unlike every other Army Builder un the history of toys, each Seeker is different its not just the same Stormtrooper over and over again, they have a different color, a different identity (even if we don't know who all of them are). The monotony of the same toy doesnt set in as fast.
