Sideways looks far better now properly transformed. I love that they gave him the game gun so he has something accessory wise. He looks good! We are slowly (slower than I'd like for sure) but surely closing the loops on some of the casts.

Bumblebee looks good! I am glad they did the main chest retooling, though I would have preferred a few more new pieces of tooling to properly complete the look. But I am glad we got as much as we did.

Arcee, um, OK sure? I am happy with my T30 and TR ones, so I think I am good there.

I also have been messing around with my new DotM Ratchet. It's not the greatest, but it did have some cool stuff in it. I still love the inner upper leg part that the rest of the thigh rotates around. there were some neat things done with him

Wolfman Jake wrote:I wonder if we might find something like this later in the Buzzworthy Bumblebee line. Mirage and Arcee are on the packaging art of the current "Studio Series Deluxe Class" assortment with Cliffjumper, Kup, and B-127. Maybe we'll get a slightly better painted release of this new Arcee retool in the future, along with an "Earthmode" repaint of the superior Siege Mirage mold (if not a remold of the Kingdom version with the ability to mount the shoulder cannon correctly restored). It may also be possible that these are not photos of the finalized production version, like we saw with Earthrise Optimus Prime in particular. But, as you would say, William, hope is just undiscovered disappointment.

Hey, for all we know all three of these will be released in Buzzworthy outside Japan and that's why Hasbro hasn't bothered announcing them since they rarely talk about that line.

Looks like cameras are not a thing in this store.

Or it's one of those place in the USA.
Nah, not one of those.
In that later case, the guy would have just stuff the whole box in his bag along other things until reaching 990$ worth of stuff. Then just walk out proudly instead of dicking around like this.

It would most definitely cost more to pay a security/loss prevention person to look over hours of video and maybe pin point when they were stolen and by who than the figures are worth.

True.

But then, everything will be put behind lock and key, .Like some products already are.

What I don't get is why go through the trouble of removing it from the packaging instead of just taking he box itself. Would definitely look less scrupulous. But I'll be honest, I can't get in the mindset of thieves like this.

Finished my work on SS Heli Drift!

This is such a cool figure. I've been a fan of SS Helikick, but there's an impressive amount of retooling to really make this Drift! I'm excited to see more AOE figures now!

The next step is Hasbro removing the windows all classes all together as they've already done with other lines when the retailers complain about the losses.

I imagine it's easier to rip the tiny figure out of the box and slip it in a pocket than it is to try and conceal the whole box. Those plastic ties aren't exactly strong and the damage to the box shows how forceful they were being. In a Spector Creative video Scott mentioned that there sites out there that give tips on stealing and/or swapping figures which is almost as bad as the actual act.

Very nice! He looks great!

I did really like Helicopter Drift. They really did a good job with that one, it made it seem like that was the intended use of the mold instead of Dropkick. I definitely like it more than Dropkick.

Cameras are there primarily as a deterrent but they also provide video evidence for higher Dollar theft, it's not actively used to "prevent" live theft and particularly on low Dollar it items under $20. Though it may have increased to $30 now days, IDK I've been out of the asset protection game for three years. It's just not financially worth to the individual stores it to monitor consistently due to costs associated with the whole process. It's far easier to combat theft with price increases or other forms of mitigation.

Likely because "they" believe the package has a security strip that will sound the alarm upon exit thus drawing attention, plus it's easier to fit the actual product in your pocket than the packaging. I've lost track of how many CD wrappers I've found in the restroom over the years because of this. lol

To those willing enough there is no prevention strong enough to deter them sans totally locking up the whole store. Which is why I once suggested everything be put in vending type machine where you would insert the Money to get the product, of course now days with online so prevalent I don't know why stores still continue to carry some of these high risk items.

Facebook, tag "theft" and "Hasbro". That should get their attention quick.

How's this Arcee different from the WFC Arcee?

Superficially they're similar, but the SS figure uses the T30 mold that doesn't have the back kibble detach and replaces some parts.

Different tooling and some different parts altogether. She's a mix of other Arcees with some new parts. Most notably her backpack does not detach and turn into a surfboard like WFC.

It's not much different
Just based of the thrilling 30

Bumblebee and Sideways: Irrelevant to my life

Arcee: Hasbro made me mad, almost worse than wfc

Thundercracker: Cool, I won't get it

They really didn't do too bad with him. I think Sideways might be the figure I am most looking forward to from the wave

And what's your excuse for not getting Galvatron?

Only one I don't have any interest in is Bee, got enough of those even if they aren't accurate to some specific movie. As far as I'm concerned a yellow Camaro is a yellow Camaro.
