It's a bit weird, the jump in design from Tetrajet to Horrorcon :???:

They will probably use that new earth mode mold and come out next year or so. Would make sense since we never saw them on cybertron, unlike the others.

It doesn't make sense in the fact that the idea of SIEGE was to give Cybertronian altmodes to Bots that never had one. You can sound off quite the list of examples as proof of concept, everyone from Ultra Magnus to Astrotrain. I vaguely remember the Battlechargers were in a poll to be added to this line and they never had one either.

That said, other than Jetfire and Omega Supreme, the SIEGE line concept has been by and large, a failure in terms of the Autobots. Their potential for cool Cybertronian vehicles squandered for generic "future" concept [Earth Based] car designs. No Bumblebee saucer or Wheeljack shuttle from the Sunbow pilot, just plain old boring cars and trucks.

Wasn't the battlechargers in the poll for the next part of the trilogy? They were never mentioned in regards to Siege. I feel your pain with the distinctively unaltered alt modes for the bots, but then they obviously felt that they couldn't maintain a full three years on Cybertron (under their restrictions)

I really don't see why not. This line has sold like gangbusters for Hasbro.

It's been ...a while, since there was news on that poll. So I can't even remember the details at this point. That said, aesthetically they couldn't even maintain ONE year on Cybertron, let alone three

The idea behind that poll was that the winner would be the Decepticon who snuck aboard the Ark as a stowaway, so the theme of this next line (rumored to be titled "Armageddon") could be the Ark's journey from Cybertron before it reaches Earth.

So from that standpoint, they shouldn't even have Earth Based forms in the next part either?

I wonder how big the next line will be and how many characters are supposed to be on the Ark??

Totally can't wait for Apeface. Glad they have the beast mode head like they did Sixshot's wolf head, with the titanmaster filling in an area, that way the bot mode face isn't exposed in beast mode. Even though he totally breaks continuity (Earth-based beast mode, Headmaster), I feel like he may end up being in my top 5 favorites from this line. Granted, all the figures from this line have been knockouts so the top 5 is basically 5 figures tied for first, but still

Doesnt matter that much for future figures, we already know we are getting micromasters and they weren't aboard the ark and we already have figures with earth modes before even getting on board the ark.Just as screwed up as the war for cybertron games :)
As long as we get figures with half decent alt modes (no hope for the micromasters combined weapon modes or rumble/frenzy) and cheaper or better alternatives to the original figures -from what ever their orig series, as the next lines go on. Also we better get that Titan Scorponok and he was nowhere near cyberton or the ark :P

Just as Apeface was about 4+ million years after the Tetrajets. ;)

Springer and Impactor are already present in the WFC line, so we can forget this trilogy sticking rigidly to the limited roster of the 80's cartoon. Once again, I point out next year is the 20th anniversary of Car Robots... Perhaps Gigatron or Rail Racer might make it onto the Ark?

Despite the flawed jet mode, I'm really exited for Apeface.
Plus that Crosshair is pretty nice!

Granted, this very year was the 20th anniversary of Beast Wars Neo, and we got jack all from Hasbro while Takara did Encore Big Convoy, Blue Big Convoy, and will soon release the Matrix Buster version.

I'm the opposite. Until now I haven't owned all 3 of them, only Starscream. Siege is changing that. I'm still passing on the Rainmakers and Red Wing.

Why would Hasbro commemorate a show and toyline they had no involvement with nor something that ever aired or was sold in the west?

I'm sort of the opposite. I finally got a larger than deluxe Skywarp, and the rainmakers and Redwing, but I'm not getting Starscream or Thundercracker

Passing on Red Wing? Out of all the Siege Seekers, I think his paint scheme looks the best, and I’m a huge Thundercracker fan. I wish I had a Target less than an hour away and a Red Card...

I adore the Seige seeker mold. But I have space and budget limitations. So the only extra seeker I'll get is Thundercracker for my sealed TC collection.

I just got myself a Red Wing by circumventing the Red Card exclusivity altogether, having ordered my Red Wing from Action Robo. And as of this typing, RobotKingdom currently has him in stock, as well.

The cartoon didn't presuppose Apeface and the other Decepticons that showed up in Rebirth were "new", but it didn't presuppose they had "Earth" modes, either. Most of the figures after the 86 cast showed up were vague/ambiguous enough to be Cybertonian on the cartoon. If you get into the 88 cast, they seemed to kind of go back to Earth-ish modes.

Basically, Apeface (and others) works just as well as a Cybertonian jet as he does a futuristic jet.
