I'm in no hurry to get Ratchet, but I do want that wrench

I happened to find Barricade in stores after work, and I gotta say, in hand, he definitely looks better. Not sure I'll get him though, but I do feel better about possibly picking up Smokescreen

I’m really happy with Smokescreen. I agree with others that the mold is one of the worst from Siege, but it’s not bad overall. The racing paint looks great on the alt mode and the fact he came with three weapons is a win in my book.

Smokescreen's deco is really great, fun and sporty, but I have to give the "who wore it best" award to Bluestreak. That deco is just pure sex. Everyone else has made it to shelves, but Streak is still camping out on my desk. :x

Went to the dentist and stopped at the Walgreen's next door. I saw these three with Ratchet kinda tossed back in the shelf sorta hidden like. I already got mine and with him out of stock online I decided to leave him for another lucky individual.
Seeing the single Refraktor makes me wonder if anyone picked up just one besides kids and parents who wouldn't know about the combined camera mode.

I live in a smaller market, but I’ve never seen more than one Refraktor at once anywhere. My closest Walgreens currently has one and I‘ve been debating whether or not to pick him up. I have the Reconnaissance Team set, but would really like all decos. :D

I have the reconnaissance team and 3 of the regular release (yeah, I like to army build, especially cons). I'd say go for it. The regular release is a really nice deco, plus you can have the regular release be the photographer when the other 3 are in camera mode.

My suggestion as well.

Also, I got Ratchet but yet to release him, but I can already see the leg panel popping off, just like Ironhide. :(

I'd free him and see if it is anything to worry about. By all accounts that I've seen (and my own ratchet) the leg panel issues seemed to have been resolved. I wonder if they might have tied the plastic strap a little too tight on your figure and that is the reason it might be popping off in package.

I saw that exact same load out at my Walgreens and have heard of similar reports of Reflector being found. I'd assume Walgreens has their own case variant for Siege. I don't hunt Walgreens often, but I haven't seen Siege figures there until Ratchet showed up.

I've seen multiple Reflectors at both Walmart and Target. IIRC, they were packed two to a case for standard retail.

I can highly recommend any of the Reflectors, I also have both. It's fun mold by itself, but really shines when you have three.

No worries on Ratchet's leg panels. They tab on perfectly and don't come off even when tugged. Pull hard enough and they will of course. Hasbro fixed the issue with Ratchet. Enjoy, he's the better of the two ;)^

I originally passed on Ironhide and a few others in Siege due to personal preference. However, considering Earthrise is eschewing the Cybertronian alt modes for Earth modes, I’m debating picking up a few Siege bots I didn’t get. I like Ratchet - thoughts on Ironhide as a whole?

I recently purchased both Ratchet and Ironhide and I don't have any problems with leg panels as others have mentioned. Both figures have good weapons too, not your typical guns.

It's a big, beefy well scaled to the rest of the Siege cast mold. Transformation has some neat tricks and pegs in nicely. My leg panels pop off easily, but when pegged into the side of the leg or alt mode it's a none issue. Looks spot on and is your best CHUG option. I will say alt mode seems a little week, but gets the job done. I do wish the windshield was a smokey grey. The hammer/rifle is cool and works well with the posabilty of bot mode. Click here to see some pics, poses and my initial thoughts.

Here's a pic of Ironhide break dancing.

I can't put a finger on why, but I feel Ratchet wears the mold much better. If you're on the fence, it might be worth a wait to see if a Earth mode gets announced.

Two Questions:
For those of you finding the 35th Anniversary WalMart Displays, are they being put up in or bear the Toy Aisles or as part of a Christmas Display elsewhere in stores? None of my Walmarts are showing aby opeb spaces ob their endcaps so I dont know if I am walking past my Springer or if he's not beibg put out yet.

2)
For those who already have Soundblaster: Convince Me. I like the deco colors and with Frenzy and Ratbat coming, I like the optiin of the double chest door. But frankly, I believe tgat Soundwave mold to be the worst toy out of Siege by far, and one of the worst figures in recent memory. Sure, the bot mode looks great, but the engine pods not only fall off the supports if you so much as go outside and sneeze, but those supports just as easily come off if you try to reattach the ebgines. At least with Ironhide you could brace the leg panels and/or angle them just right so they didnt get clipped and knockef off, there is bo hope of fixing these for Soundwave. And for what? A Flying Brick thing of an alt node that doesnt make sense on its own let alone as an alt mode for Soundwave. Its a figure I will never ve transforming, the frustration ain't worth the end product.

So my question is: Did thry fix the engine issue with Soundblaster? Is he worth my time? Or am I gonna be dissappointed again in a $30 action master?

I was looking around my local one like an idiot, until I found them by poking around the halloween clearance and holiday shopping aisles. They should be in the area with the larger toys that the regular toy aisles won't accommodate.

The display at my store is on the main aisle in front of the toys/video games. So it's close enough to the toys department.

My local Walmart already took down their Transformers endcap display. They just stuffed everything that was on it into the Transformers section in the regular toy aisles, and I mean STUFFED. The pegs were overflowing with Bluestreak and Wave 3 figures. The Voyager spots on the shelf were STACKED with all of the regular retail Siege Voyagers except for wave 1 Optimus Prime and the upcoming Apeface. Even the area over head was stacked with extra Siege figures. I don't know why they gave up on the display so soon. It couldn't have been up for more than a week.

I'm afraid one of my stores has dobe the same thing. Ibhave yet to find the End Cap Display in Indiana anywhere but one of my kocal haunts has more than a dozen Megatrons, Thundercrackers, abd a lone Starscream crammed into a single row and the pegs are full. I half wondered if they trief to put outbthe Stock without the Display. No sign of Springer, the only one I kinda want, and even then I really want to see hom in store before spendibg money because I really like the T30 one and my limited display space ain't big enough for the two of them. But I mayvjust order him and be done with it.

Nobluck there. My stores have a bunch of stuff like tgat by the Bikes but no joy there either, and aisle displays of toys running from Electronics to Automotive and even stuff going down the main aisle towards the checkout, so it really feels like they could he everywhere... Or nowhere

Because Walmart  I've seen them do that pretty frequently. Also every square inch of floor/shelf space is a potential money earner. It's Xmas time, stuff the shelves and move out the other promotional end caps and merchandise. Rinse repeat.

Within the christmas shopping aisles there's a section with bigger toys, that's where I found them, not the general big toy aisle. :)

Yep, lots of leftover cheap candy!

Also, picked up Ratchet and bluestreak over the past 2 nights. Ratchet was a huge surprise, it's the first Walgreens exclusive I have ever actually seen in stores, which was awesome!

As for the toys, haven't messed around too much, but Bluestreak is wonderfully painted and Ratchet is really cool, I like the new molded parts, and Nautica will appreciate her wrench
