You know what? I actually sort of like that. It makes the robot thumbs look like feline thumbs in cheetah mode, because they end up in the place cats have their "thumbs". Not sure if cheetahs have those, but house cats do.

This. I like it, it adds a little extra stuff that might be a bit more anatomically accurate, and I also really don't care about hands when they are blended in like this.

Cheetor gets yet another good point for him. I am excited to see him and deluxe Airazor together, they seem like they are going to be a great pair.

The absolute worst thing about this is the choice of colors, which I can fix. I hate that I have to plan for that with a $35+ figure, but at least I like the design. Okay, the exposed hands are problem too...

Idk, looks like what would happen if Cheetor became a Prime.

Botcon sorta kinda did that with Alpha Trizer, so Prime Thundertron might give you a good look too.

Never liked alpha trizer

I did. So that's why I mentioned him.

Plus, funny enough, SS Cheetor uses a very similar transformation sequence to him.

Any number missing for you still?
I think he said 97.

97 is Airazor
Then it's gotta be 94. That's the only one left unidentified IIRC.

Correct, 94 is the only missing one currently. A few pages back #94 was speculated to be a Buzzworthy Hatchet. I have nothing to prove or disprove that, but the further we get from that single missing number, it makes sense.

It does make complete sense. Wonder if he will be in the reveals for the TF Tuesday stream next week

That would be cool. Also, I'm not sure if anyone even browses on Unicron.com anymore, but unlike TFwiki that has text lists of all the toys, Unicron.com has a quick nice pictorial representation of all toys (by year and brand) all MIP. They were getting pretty far behind, but just recently, they did a massive update for most of the 2022 product (still missing some from 2021 oddly enough) and they are starting 2023, but still a little behind.

yeah he does, like what's going on with his back legs.

Also, I think the cheetah mode is mistranformed in the pics. There is a rotating gap filler that should hide the peg on the outer side of the front legs.

To at least some degree, we can never count on the fact that the transformation is entirely complete in alt mode on any beast in product shots anymore

Looking at core ROTB SS Arcee, id say we can't count on proper alt mode transformation pics of any type of alt mode.

A little late to the party, but this is just all sorts of wrong:
Image

What is that rear leg transformation? :HEADHURTS: #-o

I'm fairly certain the tiny stubby orange toes are his cheetah mode feet, and the gray claws are his robot mode feet, and they are flipped around some how. The stubby toes look super weird in robot mode.

Outside of that, he looks decent enough. The face does look like a more seasoned veteran Cheetor. Almost like he's a Primal now. Cheetimus Primal?

Exposed hands in cheetah mode are a bit odd, but o.k.

Like the fact his cheetah head actual hides and is not his chest, and the tail apparently does not become a weird melee weapon. Yay!.

Since when is "Primal" a rank?

Optimus himself wasn't anyone important. He was just a lowly science vessel captain, who named himself after Optimus Prime.

Its not, but since there is no equivalent rank in Beastwars, what would Cheetor call himself if he were to take over as leader of the Maximals?

I kept looking at those pictures of Cheetor and something always looked off to me, and then it clicked.

He's a little chunkier than what I'm used to seeing in a Cheetor figure. I guess in my head Cheetor has always been a sleek, lithe type of character (and admittedly not all his figures translated that way) but this boy, this boy is a solid little chunk.

But that's the aesthetic of the ROTB figures. Whether I pick him up, I dunno ... kinda over all the movie toys anyway.

A "Maximal Elder". They're the ones that govern the Maximals on Cybertron, as sitting members of the High Council.

I have never liked the beast designs for Transformers, but I am loving the RotB SS ones so far. Airazor and Cheetor are buys and the designs for Primal and Rhinox look really cool to and I can't wait to see there toys. With each toy reveal I am getting more excited for this movie.

So how long will this movie line last before we get back to regular programming?

If you mean the Studio Series returning to older movies, give it a year.
