Good-looking truck mode, mediocre robot mode. Legs are too skinny. Definitely not worth $60. Might pick it up on sale.

Maybe when we finally get a good look at his onscreen CG model, Scourge might turn out to be a rather agile individual, using attacks based more on speed and precision rather than brute strength, which might justify his lean appearance.

Thank you! I went through like 3 different shades of orange before settling on that one, I initially used more red mixed in!

Scourge looks kinda neat, but I think I'd like to wait till I see the movie to decide if I want to pick it up or not.

But his legs are still disproportionate to his upper body. If what you say is the case, his upper body would be more streamlined at least.

I actually really like his leg design. It helps convey that yeah, he's that Scourge, but he's no cheap repaint of Op this time!

The claw-left-forearm is the one part that bugs me, since it's right on the boundary between menacing and goofy, like Therizinosaurus claws.

Image
Terrifying at first glance, but how much damage could they dish out without hurting their own hands? Did they just use them like giant sloths?

But the mega-buster arm looks cooler than ever, so I'll have that attached most of the time.

I think it's silly to expect perfect human proportions from giant killing machines. Those of you complaining about Scourge's legs, how do you feel about Bonecrusher?

I never understood those complaints about proportions. They're alien robots, humanoid proportions are not necessary, in fact, playing around with them makes the bots more interesting.

I think I saw a pic where the kibble comes off. Regardless, I think it's neat that the kibble is deliberate to make it actually look closer to this pic from a while ago, with the junk on the bed.

It's way better than whatever SS Galvatron had for sure.

We like what we like, don't see why we should have to justify our own opinions. Not like those of us who don't like the legs are asking those who do like the legs to validate their opinions are we?

Sam Smith has posts up for Scourge and Freezer, showing off Freezer's weapon modes. The post mentions that Freezer will not transform in the movie (He seems to be the genericon army for ROTB sort of like the Decepticon Protoforms in ROTF/DOTM), so the weapon modes are toy-only.

I actually kinda dig Freezer, might pick him up since he'd fit in well with my Bayverse Decepticons.

I definitely need at least 3. Movie-verse targetmasters, and he even works in Scourge's alt mode! I adore that little freak.

It's all about aesthetic and what's pleasing to one's eye. Some don't care for out of proportion looking Bots whether it makes sense real worlds or not, and a heavy top combined with a light bottom generally never goes very well over time when joints weaken.

I haven't asked anyone to validate or justify anything, people are welcome to their opinions and it's my opinion that it's a silly thing to get worked up about after seven movies. My asking about Bonecrusher is simply me wondering if this opinion is strictly held against Scourge or if they feel that way about all oddly proportioned bot.

Bonecrusher looks like some sort of alien insect so he can get away with his odd proportions. Scourge have a human-like shape. An evil knight in armor. But he does look like he skipped legs day. Still, he still looks good and menacing.

I have this opinion because the God Boomshakalaka whispered it into my ear. My opinion is divine-based so is always justified. Those who can't justify their opinion like this should know their peon place. [-(

I did not expect to like Freezer as much as I do. He might have the best weapon mode ever. And if that is his final deco, then that's also great. He's my favourite guy of this wave so far! Scourge and Arcee look pretty good too. Not feeling the beasts at all though, which is a shame. Cheetor really needed some sort of torso narrowing trick for cheetah mode, he looks like an ape with a cheetah head slapped on. And Airrazor having the exact same engineering as the Kingdom one feels super lazy.

I'm going to be collecting all of the Beast Battlemasters. Titans Return Krok needs a Gatoraider, and for absurdity, if nothing else, Rhinox needs a tiny version of himself that turns into a BFG.

That is fantastic! Best weapon mode (short of G1 Megatron) I've ever seen in a toy. Agree with others that said this should be a multiple purchase.

Wrong thread. Those aren't Studio Series toys. Those are mainline ROTB toys.

I'm a little surprised at myself that I don't mind the legs. They are definitely skinny but I think it gives Scourge a cool silhouette overall.

We have way, *way* more than enough big, blocky guys. Nice to shake it up a bit.

Maybe it's just because he reminds me of some beloved Bionicle figures.

I love Scourge's silhouette and design, I like it that he doesn't really look like any other movie bot in terms of physique. I will buy him first change and enjoy him

Here's my custom NEST Bumblebee! I painted him with Bayverse Bumblebee detailing (specifically DOTM) so that he'll fit in better with NEST Ratchet and Bonecrusher!

I'd be down for more of these NEST repaints, the two I have so far have been very fun! Brawl and Starscream would be cool ones to see in the future.

Looks great! and I am fully on board for more NEST repaints. I think Brawl would be a great one, and maybe do an updated Recon Ironhide in the scheme too

I'm kinda curious how that would look with your Hot Rod head on it. Definitely getting Hot Rod vibes from it.
