That was my exact thought too. I really don't want a repaint of Hardhead, but that head sculpt is fantastic!

I like Quake enough to pick him up. It's nice to see him get a new toy.
Krok is less inspired. It's good for people who want the character to be able to get him, but I snagged to the TFCC one and it was perfect. The mold was right. Good headsculpt, and he came with Gatoraider and Nightracer.

I don't think Topspin is a "new" mold. I think it's a remold of the Highbrow mold.

I was *kind of* stating the same sentiment earlier. However since these are not prominent icons like Optimus, Megatron, or BB, I don't think you would see multiple figures in multiple lines so close (or the same line), of course apparently there are exceptions (TM & Legends Brawn for example).
However I don't think at this time we will see Cyclonus as he was part of CW. Also Spinster & Needlenose were released through TFCC in 2016. Scorponok will no doubt be a Titan class figure in either 2018 or 2019, as for the rest...there are still 8-10 deluxes that could still come out of this line, and several more Titan Masters so who knows...

Nope haven't seen any wave 3 Legends or Voyagers in store yet either. On a side note...I went to Target on Monday, they had the wave 3 TM's, and guess what?? -They scanned just fine (I just did a price scan since I already have them all), went to another Wal-Mart later that day, did a price scan,

Of course now its Friday, so if you are looking for TM's -Try Target first. If you get them at Wal-Mart, be sure to bring an older TM with you to the cashier because no matter what you are going to have a hassle getting them through the checkout, unless you did what I did when purchasing another Sawback for a friend. -I just took an older TM to self check out, scanned it instead, and left it as the check stand. The clerk checking receipts saw my one item, and the receipt, and didn't question anything else.

I absolutely love how chunky and beefy topspin looks. He's not even been officially revealed by he may just be my favorite looking deluxe from Titans return. Total home run. Looking at the Titan master I think it's safe to say that topspin is his own mold.

Topspin looks better than the Jumpstarters really have any right to. I may get that one. The new ones shown don't interest me.

If Topspin's a retool of anyone, it's Triggerhappy. The vehicle mode placement in robot mode and the transformation scheme just look too dead-on - it's a major retool if it is one, though. But whether he is or not, he looks incredible.

Krok looks completely ridiculous. Which is much better than Skullcruncher being just half ridiculous.
Quake looks like a solid generic body for the blue and purple Titan Masters I have. Not a perfect color match, but about as ideal as I can expect.
The new molds are, oddly, the less interesting part of the wave. Hmm...

They all look good to me! Quake looks even better than I imagined. That head sculpt is awesome. I was wondering if they were going to use the Takara Brainstorm head since the face and helmet are similar, but they really finished the look for Quake with that new head. The tampos on the shoulders look great too!
Topspin, though. How awesome is he?! Pretty much a perfect dynamic representation of the classic character. Proper updates of the Jumpstarters have been a long time coming and imho, this hits it out of the park!

Topspin looks like he'd be Tremendous fun.
Does anyone recall if Twin twist was rumoured at all too ?
It would be a terrible shame to break the pair up it's bad enough that they constantly fail to complete sets as it is.

I'm pretty pleased with the Titans Return line after being disappointed more '84-'86 characters didn't receive the Combiner Wars treatment. While Krok wasn't on my wish list, the new version of Perceptor, Topspin, and Kup are all nice additions. I don't have the original Quake or a modern version, so it's a nice figure to be able to pick up with a domestic Hasbro price. I also missed the Club release of Krok, so he'll be a decent addition to my collection.
I guess I'm most excited about Broadside. He's one of a very few spots in my collection that is devoid of any modern update, since I passed on the FansProject third-party release a couple years ago (and was regretting it, until his Titans Return announcement).
Anyway, I like what I've seen of the 2017 releases.

I like Krok, actually, snd would like to see pictures of his Bot and Croc forms. I probably won't end up getting him, as I am quite happy with my Krok and Gatoraider from TFCC, unless he's just too good looking to pass up.
I like Quake though, and the Hardhead mold. He's a Con I doubt we'll see often, and go in well with other Decepticon Tanks.

Good point about Prime Wars and the insecticons, that's something I hadn't considered. It's simply that one is basically confirmed to come sometime soon imo, whether in this line or the next.
That said, one thing that sets this particular case apart from the insecticons is that Topspin and Twin Twist can easily share the same base mold, while the three insecticons have vastly different alt-modes and to an extent even very different body types - there's no way they could have shared a mold.
