Wanted to share some quick comparison images with the SS RotB figures with some of the mainline guys. They mostly work, with the exception of Primal, who needs that leader class figure.

Also, finally saw these guys in stores

I'm still undecided on whether or not to buy anything from ROTB, but I'll admit Voyager Cheetor does look really good. I'm not that keen on Airazor, but I'll perhaps wait until we see Leader Optimus Primal and Voyager Rhinox, then see what they all look like together, before I decide,

I'm personally having a blast with all of the RotB stuff, between its line and SS. It has been real fun

Started to set up my movie bots in the new Den at long last. This 07 movie pack was always going to be the back row of the new Autobot shelf. The backdrop especially made that true, and now the back is the alleyway meetup!

Image

Also, Devastator finally returns to to the light. I have missed this toy, they did so good with him.

If you still plan on getting NEST Bonecrusher you might not want to wait much longer if they're still in stock at your stores.

If the rumors of MPM Bonecrusher are accurate, then I will end upnskipping this entirely.

I would think that Beasts in general as a Transformer would be better suited to prehistoric time simply because the size, you shouldn't have a Cheetah larger than a car or Semi...

Historically, beasts have never been used as convincing disguises in Transformers.

In the Beast Wars cartoon itself, there were gigantic insects, a giant rat, and a tiny T-Rex.

To say nothing of the Transmetals being as useless as disguises as any mechanical beast altmodes have been in any other series (G1, Cybertron, the movies, etc.).

Those were never "disguises" to begin with. The beast modes were all about functions and maybe even a fashion statement.

Dont forget that in Beast Wars, the alt modes were protection from excess energon exposure....

Also part of the function. And I adored that concept.

Looking great!

Having seen the trailer, wow, why did they change Scourge's design? His toy looks awesome but the movie model looks pretty generic.

Also, it confirms that next year's Scorponok listings are indeed for the one in this new movie.

And yeah, if the movie does well, I think we know who next year's titan is going to be. They probably have a couple characters lined up, one for that case, and one in case the movie only does ok or worse.

That would be a bit redundant.

Know what? I'd love a CORE CLASS Unicron.
It would be interesting how they could pull it off. Plus, it would be nice on top of one of these display backdrop like a looming and approaching menace.

I really don't think it would be, considering what that G1 Unicron looked like and what the movies look like.

Besides, i did not want a G1 unicron for $600, but this? I would take this. I have been waiting for a movie based Haslab, and this could be the one right here.

I had never thought about it before, but wow, core class Unicron is now something I really want.

Specially given that Haslab is completely inaccesible for me, and that the big(gest) guy is never going to be in scale with anything anyway.

Hey, instead of (or maybe along with) Core why not a Battle Master that doubles as Dead End?

I've said it before and will say it again, a Leader class Unicron in either 86 movie style or Rise of the Beasts would be awesome! Obviously it wouldnt be to scale but I think in this case it would be okay, just getting out a nice transformable Unicron for $50/60 bucks at mass retail

He could be a "voyager sized" leader for all I care, if the looks is good in both modes and comes with a stand for planet mode, I'd be all over it.

If they were to revisit Unicron I'd opt for a Titan over any other class, while $200 is a bit expensive for me on any bot it's certainly lower than the $600 HasLab version. Especially now with after market prices at three times the original price!

If Hasbro does a planet-style Unicron at retail within the next 20-30 years, there might be blood in the streets.

If they ever do, the planet mode probably won't be any bigger than a soccer ball.
