I agree, Hotlink is great (second to Red Wing, though), and I think the full body battle damage looks a lot better on him than the various mud splatters on the other Seekers.

Out of curiosity, which one of the 7 Seekers do you not have? Only one I skipped was Starscream.

I passed on Starscream and Thundercracker. PotP Starscream works for me, as does CW Leader Thundercracker. I also have the 3 FOC seekers, so I'm covered already with the main 3 sharing a body type

In other news, Ratchet never got a release in Japan, but will soon see release over there as a TakaraTomy Mall exclusive.

I agree that Hotlink's burns are the most competently-done battle damage deco in all of WFC, I just think they cover too much of him and am annoyed that they can't be reduced in size easily because of the plastic color thing... And then there's the Skywarp thing.

Fell asleep before I got around to posting this:

How heavy is Siege Jetfire? I regret skipping him, especially now that I got Sky Lynx on order.

It's like holding a Unicron Trilogy or Movie 1-3 Leader, he's got a heft to him that the Leader and under figures of today lack.

aronjlove, don't regret it, you're not missing much.

The only angle both of them look decent from.

No, that would only be true if the one on the left was T30 :P Comparing with the animation model, SIEGE Skyfire looks exactly as he should in vehicle mode below the wings, and I like the look of it - he's like a cross between a jet and a sci-fi transport ship.

Don't listen to him aronjlove, some people just have no appreciation for a perfectly show-accurate Skyfire.

Oh, if I see him for a decent price I'm definitely getting him. I skipped because of his size, but now that I got room for the big guy I definitely want him.

My one complaint with him is that you have to unpeg the back half of the upper cabin from the ends of the engine nozzles and lift it to get at the seats. I wish they'd made the forward section in a couple more pieces so that the canopy could be mounted a sub-piece that was hinged to open.

So Siege Nemesis Prime is another one that I'd really like, but refuse to pay scalpers prices for. My son had a great idea of getting an Earthrise Optimus and painting him to look like Nemesis, and put a few Decepticon stickers on him. I'd love to this because then he'd have the trailer and everything.
Does anyone have experience with this and know what kind of paint I'd look to get?

Can't help you with the paint question, but there is a bit of speculation that the Netflix leader spoiler figure will be a Nemesis Prime. You might want to wait out until we know for sure there.

Nice. I also just realized that alernate universe Prime could work as a stand in as well with a little customization.

Holy damn that had to be expensive and time consuming. It took me a minute to realize it was a painted Fort Max and not Fort Max's head on Scorponok.

Wow that's great work. I don't get Omega's colors though. Shouldn't he be green and purple for Devy, or blue and purple for a guardian?

Pretty sure those are the Omega Doom colors from SG, so it's sort of Omega but not entirely.

and the colors aren't perfect either with SG toys, the Constructicons for instance are mostly white with red accents like medical vehicles are in real life in SG, instead of Omega colors

Okay I was just going with who their opposites are considered to be. Honestly I'm not too familiar with Shattered Glass.

Omega Doom was always those colors.

According to Josh Perez, his colors are based on those of, surprisingly, Cybertron Sideways.

Wow, that's fantastic work! I was hoping to see someone do Siege/Earthrise stuff in Shattered Glass colors, and they not only nailed it, they went all out!

Pretty sure AST means assortment. It's almost certainly just a listing for the entire size class, not a specific figure.

"Battlefield" was a preliminary name for the Netflix Voyager 3-packs. Megatron w/ Lionizer and Pinpointer was originally listed as "Battlefield Megatron". Apparently it's still seeing use in some systems.
