You going to get the G1 originals?

That Botcon Spark was bought from a DEAD online store. I had to contact the owner directly.
I once had the G1 originals but I hated how they felt in hand. Maybe those were KOs? I also got MP Inferno once but that's too big and 5he others were too expensive.

So, a Pure Generations collection is more manageable and affordable. Plus, those are a tons of fun to play with.

Oh, and Sabrblade, you got them all.
If they release more Grapples/Infernos, both Kingdom/ER or Classics, I'll get them.

Its a nice looking set either way. Is there any other decos (other then shattered glass versions) could they do with the current Inferno/grapple molds?

Some want a G1-ified Cybertron Mudflap from the mold.

Not me, though. I'd rather a Cybertron-accurate Mudflap (even if that means tracking down the original, which I currently do not own).

Same, I'd love to go after the Cybertron era toys, they were great fun.

Monday:
I unboxed and transformed my Velocitron Burnout, I found her gun and axe wrapped in brown paper. I transformed her (you really have to know) in bot mode and gave her both her gun and axe. Then the packaging was thrown into the recycling bin.

Tuesday:
Just a normal day. It was garbage day in the morning but the recycling box wasn't full enough to dump into the recycling bin of my apartment building outside.

Wednesday: My recycling carboard box is too full so now I bring it back downstairs, outside, and dump the whole thing into our collective recycling bin.

Tuesday, meaning today: Play vidia, pet the cats, do random things. Then I get the idea to put both my Legacy Skids and Velocitron Burnout on display along my Skids Masterpieces. I notice that Legacy Skids have an "extra gun". The "twin gun". Wait... Why Burnout only came with ONE gun? I double check on Google... She usually come with the same weapons as Skids, meaning TWO guns and an axe.
Fuk.
Fuk fuk fuk fuk fuk... :BANG_HEAD:
It's night.
With my glorious "People of Walmart" look wearing only a bathrobe and security boots, I hurry downstairs to dive into our building's recycling bin. I have to dig through other's people's trash to get back to my own cardboard box-o-crap. Thank God the one who used to "recycle" used diapers no longer do so...
Found my box! Now, the archeology dig begin. I carefully inspect every single item, especially that soft brown paper...
Something hard in one crumpled brown paper thing...
IT'S THE MISSING GUN! :michaelbay:
Go back home upstairs, and now my Burnout is complete!

TlDr; Triple, quadruple check those brown papers bundles inside your latest Transformers boxes! 8-}

You made me panic for a second, I had to run upstairs and check if my Burnout actually has both her guns! She does, we're safe.

The 5h8bgs are either well hidden in the brown wrappers, or they are loosely tied by those paper ties.
Two extremes that those "environmentally safe" packaging bring...

Since, as these have been well established are marketed towards kids, I wonder how many are unknowingly throwing away accessories because of this. I've not made the mistake yet because I think twice and scour the packaging. But I did loose a couple trading cards in Kindgdom releases because of not checking. No big loss, but yeah it's irritating.

I would suspect many. But I also suspect it doesn't matter too much as accessories on kids toys tend to be lost eventually anyways. In a ven diagram between "accessory would be lost anyways" and "accessory thrown out by mistake", there would be mainly an overlapped circle.

I still don't like it though. I do think a better idea would be to tie them to the underside of the inner box, kinda like what they did with Kingdom toys. Like that even if someone cuts the ties maleciously, there would still be no access to the accessory until the box is fully opened.

Walmart Canada Proudly Displays Cosmos in their Christmas Toy Catalogue

This made me chuckle, it seems Walmart is well aware of which Tansformers are hotter than others. Walmart released a catalogue in Canada and the page featuring Transformers has the 2 brand new molds Cosmos and Override. While Override has been rather easy to obtain, Cosmos has been a hassle for many Canadians (though the online preorders did pull through) so it definitely adds some salt to the wound to have them promoting a toy that is hard to find. Of course, it could all be a coincidence. Fans of mistransformed shots will love this one of Override. Lastly, while the page shows discount on several toys, the Transformers are not marked down. Not that they need to, Cosmos is selling quite well at 35.97$ CAD plus taxes.

As we learn yesterday, while Hasbro can advise Walmart on case distribution, Walmart has the final say. Which in turn just makes it odd that they promote a toy that they themselves shortpacked. It could of course just be a coincidence since Walmart is huge and the person making the catalogue probably has 0 knowledge of the case assortment or the distribution issues.

What did they do to Override? My god... can nobody rotate her shoulders up?

And Road rocket? Have they never seen a motorcycle before?

Talk about absurdity....

It's like he's popping a wheelie away from his wheels.

Cosmos looks like he's running off to find RTS Windcharger in that 5 below ad a decade ago.

Hauler’s face suddenly makes a lot more sense. He’s horrified at what’s happened to his friends.

I never, ever saw Override in stores, nor Scourge. Same thing on Walmart.ca. Both were instantly sold out before I ever had the chance to preorder.

At least I got Cosmos. The pinned shoulders was a very bad design choice.

I like how, aside from the glaring mistransformations, they also seemed to refuse to have them hold their guns like normal guns. For Road Rocket they just left the blades off to the side instead of even trying to figure out where it goes!

I wonder why they didn't use the promo material that we've seen before? Likely left to an intern with time constraints and way too many pictures to take.
