I’m guessing this new Rumble will actually be smaller than most would think.
If not with the height, then the overall “bulk”, or in this case, being a bit on the trim side so that his proportions aren’t stubby like the Siege cassettes.
Not to mention, packed with 2 guns & pile drivers (& especially assuming they have basic articulation)—
to keep that all at the $11.99 price point, I think he’s going to be on the small side of the Core class.
Which is fine with me… Hastak has done enough right in the last few years that I’m thinking this will be a good, fun little figure.

In theory shouldn't Rumble basically be the same size as Kingdom Eject? Honestly that's what I'm expecting it to be I'm just hyped for the piledrivers and blasters because my current "Legends" version doesn't have them!

What's funny is that I haven't even gotten around to opening my Rumble Wingthing set, so I guess I should have just waited. lol

He will be the same size as Eject but with more accessories.

Well in the movie, when Laserbeak is in this form, he's the size of a child... so makes sense really.

Why do they keep doing Metalhawk? There are other Pretenders.

Same reason they keep doing Bludgeon. They're the favorites.

To further derail, did anybody else see the Darkmount listing?

TFW2005 wrote:It’s time for yet another Transformers leak, this time from a different source – Amazon has supplied us with with a new Legacy Leader listing for Darkmount, AKA Straxus.

Interestingly the listing notes that he will be released on October 1, 2022 rather than 2023 like the other recent leaks. Whether this is true or some sort of error/placeholder remains to be seen. Other than that, we have no further details at the moment.

Take this as a rumor for now, but you can check it out and share your thoughts on the boards.

Update: TFW has been made aware that this may in fact be a mislabelled store listing for the upcoming Legacy Leader Dragon Megatron figure. We advise taking it with a grain of salt for now until further clarification is received.

Personally, I'd be 100% in favour of a new Straxus over TM2 Megatron. What would be involved to upscale him into Leader Class though :-?

Yes, and purposefully chose to ignore it since it is misinformation.

I'd really like to see them do proper pretenders, but I would thing they would end up at the leader class point if they did.

You wouldn't get pretenders in this particular line

But would you find the Allicons/Bailiffs? Already having been a part of Earthrise, I would assume the mould will migrate to this line? Since technically they appeared before the Sharkticons and Quintessons did.

Sludge showed up, & he is even better in-hand than I expected…
Yeah, my copy needs that knee ratchet fix… But I’m not worried about that.
I’ll be saying this for both of the last two, but man, now I can’t wait to have Snarl!!!

I recently got the original G1 Wreck Gar toy. So, time for some comparisons and silly antics!

I'm glad the SS86 is a voyager because it's a take back to the original's size.

Image

Transforming both into bike mode is trickier than it appear at first glance. For the G1, there's a hidden double hinge joint inside the engine block. You must push it "up" for the bot mode, and "down" for the bike mode. As for the SS86, I forgot to use the hinge joint of the gaz tank for bike mode. This simple missed step made the whole transformation seems impossible.

Still, both bikes looks bad-ass and silly at the same time.

Image

Speaking of silliness, can SS86 WG ride G1 WG?

Not perfect, but yes!

Image

How about the opposite?

Well, surprisingly yes! The G1 bot can even hold onto the SS86's bike handles!

My Sludge finally shipped and should arrive this weekend.

I also got my hands on Junkyard. First experience with the mold. He is pretty dang neat. i appreciate how chunky he is, and I love the tooling they did for the mold. He is a lot of fun. The headsculpt is also really good

First Look at Studio Series 86 Wheelie

This new blurry image has been making the rounds online today. It is our first look at Studio Series 86 core class Wheelie. It is unsure at this point if this is a wave 3 or 4. No look at the alt mode so far but one can assume it will be just as movie accurate as the robot mode. And it comes with the slingshot too.

This Wheelie I'll have to get.

I wonder if it will be compatible with SS86 Grimlock with the same peg holes on the legs? :-?

They mentioned on one of the livestreams that they didn't yet know they could make core class figures, so they included the mini-figs as a little something

Someone else can probably recall better than me

Oh ok. so I take it then that we can expect a SS'86 Daniel to follow now? As a retool (ish) of Spike?
