Hey, check out my amazing store shelves! And by amazing I mean I can't believe how bad they've become. These pics were taken at the Augusta, ME Supercenter. Yeah, right in the capital, you know, where everyone comes to shop. It's one of the two Walmarts available to me, the other is much better.

So here's the entire Generations section, just clinging to the very end of the aisle.

Yeah, lots of Legends wave 2 (and Stripes), a single Deluxe Scourge, and all of those Voyagers are Galvatron. Plus Blaster is hiding behind that really beat up Skywarp. What about Titan Masters?

1117161632a.jpg

Why those are still sitting in the box on the top shelf because nobody could be bothered to put them on the pegs. I probably should have checked what wave they were, but oh well, I'm broke anyway.

Now for the pièce de résistance: the RID section. They couldn't be bothered to keep the Transformers together so they're on the opposite facing shelf in the aisle.

1117161633.jpg

Well that's actually not terrible... wait, something is missing. Oh, I know, THEY STOPPED CARRYING WARRIORS! Yeah, completely dropped them, gave the shelf space to three more pegs worth of Marvel Legends because six wasn't enough. Deployers are gone as well and so are the Minicon sets. Power Surge Optimus Prime is actually there, just on the very bottom shelf out of frame.

Total disappointment, hopefully the other Walmart I frequent more often doesn't get this bad.

Believe it or not, that's at least 3x nicer than the Target by the Barclay's Center, which gets pretty heavy foot traffic. I've been checking there at least every other weekend for the last couple of months, and they only have about 2-3 pegs of RiD, and 3-4 pegs of TR wave 1 deluxes and wave 2 legends. Occasionally they'll also have 3-4 voyagers. They had much more during CW, but not dedicating much space for TR. Maybe because Star Wars and TMNT is taking up all the real estate.

You guys are depressing me, time to brag again. My TRU was stocked to the BRIM, literally. They stacked their extra inventory so high that it blots out any space.

I'm starting to wonder if I should give up on UK retail and just go poking about Mandarake for obscure tat instead.

NONE of my Supermarkets still have any significant amount of Transformers - not even so much as a Legion or a Legends class. the closest thing to excitement is some Combaticons 20 miles away for £11.33 in a Sainsbury's - which I didn't especially need.

There is one store between here and my nearest ToysRus 45 miles away that has anything and that is just the smallest stuff like RID Minicons and Titanmasters - even they don't have any deluxes.

If I did go all that way to TRU all they'd have is an endless sea of Bicycles and Lego and a load of leftover AOE stuff still. with maybe the odd hugely overpriced Thrilling 30 Voyager Brainstorm in store.

I'm still trying to find a Warrior Ratchet & Bisk - but even the Warriors are getting uncommon - Saisbury's restocked some refresh case with pre-historic characters in it.

As for TESCO well they have less than they have had since the months after the Prime line - usually they wake up and stop selling more toys around September - this year they put signs up saying order your toys online and into store.

Slight problem there - is that only works on one off items - so it's fine for a Rogue One U-wing - it's not terribly practical for Transformers - and when you got an look online everything is either old AOE stuff or out of stock - or they still have had nothing in the 1st place - the closest thing to a new toy is the same promoted items EVERYONE ONLINE HAS which is the Bumblebee & Sideswipe with Minicons on their chaset and The Griffin Rock Firestation Playset & the large winged Optimus Prime. (everyone has them and all reduced).

But the Deluxes are pretty much invisible and Titanmasters are all out of stock on TRU online as are most of the Legends.

If I wanted to buy something I might be able to find a few things if I don't mind paying a small premium. but you have to go trawling some really obscure retailers then.

It's like the whole retail sector has become as random as TK Maxx with regards to toys.

So the one store in my city's "town center" that really sells TF's is Target. Sometimes you can get lucky at rite aid or the thrift store. The former is usually overpriced and the latter doesn't have current figs.

Anyways, I went to target in hopes I would find my RiD warrior size Ratchet. They only had 5 RiD warrior size bots and they are all Optimus Prime.

Which area of the country is that Wrecker Jack (if you dont mind stating it)? I live in the city so if I dont see it, its because it will never come out in Canada.

Does anyone know if Hasbro released solid cases for TR Galvatron? Because it sure seems like it, here is what I found at my TRU the other day:

I am about 30 miles from Seattle. Just in a very residential area with not a lot of big stores. I just really don't like going out gallivanting on the bus to find figs. Its about the same with shipping as it is in bus fare so I usually order toys I can't find at Target from the comfort of my home.

So I came to realize that both of my local Walmarts actually do still have the pegs for RID Warrior class, but they've made a mess out of them. In one store where they separated the Titans Return figures from the RID figures they put the Warriors in the TR section and then filled the pegs with TR Legends. Then at the other store where they keep the two lines together they filled the Warrior pegs with RID One Steps while their pegs were left empty. I actually took a moment to move the One Steps to their proper pegs. Neither store has gotten new Warriors in months so maybe emptying their pegs will make them realize they need to order more.

So now one of the local Walmarts finally started stocking RID Warriors, but it came at a price because the people working in the toy department haven't got a clue about Transformers. Instead of putting things on the proper pegs they stuck their overstock of TR Legends onto one of the three RID Warrior pegs (which had been vacant for months). But now that they lack a peg for for the new Warrior stock they decided to put it on the one peg reserved for Titan Masters, changed the price tag and everything. So yeah, wont be finding Titan Masters there for a while.

To their credit they did finally fill the Transformers section both for TR and RID, not entirely current, but it's better than completely empty. Could really use more TR Leaders and of course Titan Masters.

I can confirm in my area, there have been no titans return leader class figures at all. Not a single one. The shelves are still full of leader Skywarps and Aramada Megatrons

Yeah, the southeastern US was pretty much the black hole of Hasbro distribution. At best, one or two examples of Combiner Wars limbs, rarely a full set, and oddly no one store ever had a set of all the teams (one might have Combaticons but never got any Protectobots, etc.) NEVER saw a Sky Lynx. Anywhere. Piles of R.i.D. that apparently no one wants. The same two Leader class Skywarps, STILL selling at $45 even though they've been sitting on the shelf for a year or so. Always two. Like Sith Lords. I'd like to grab one, but I'm not dropping $45 on it. Someone is gonna have to drop that poor guy into the clearance rack.

Now, however, the Headmaster floodgates are open and there are butt-loads of them that really aren't moving either. That would be awesome for me if I were collecting them, but I had the originals, and these just aren't peaking my interest. The only two I want are Blaster and Soundwave, and I have a feeling they're gonna do to Soundwave what they did to Sky Lynx - dry up and move on before he ever makes it here.

I'll see if I can sneak some images in some of my stores - Security Guards get a bit tetchy about pics but I'd like to try so you good people can see how different it is in Ukland sometimes.

Not that a cardboard box with some blind bag PVCs and half a dozen One-step changers is exciting - but it's what the 2nd biggest Tesco in my county has in the way of Transformers.

TESCO you suck !!
