So, apparently there's been these images running around the internet of another toy/merchandise:

I'll admit, I don't know if this is awesome despite being ridiculous, or awesome because it's ridiculous.

Also, could anyone else see this as a new way to adapt the Head/Titanmasters asibe from actual figures? Because I'd pay for an Optimus Prime mask that turned into Hi-Q or Ginrai.

On another note, they seem to be using the "modernized" Maximal Insignia that kept showing up in the packages of Kingdom but none of the toys. Pity, I kinda preferred the old one.

Not sure if such a thing will be comfortable to wear, but this is absolutely brilliant!

That is fantastic, even if its not real, it's terrific work.

The old one was recently re-trademarked by Hasbro, so it'll probably still be in use.

Rise of the Beasts Toyline News: First Studio Series Listing and Primal Mask Transformer

Lots of Rise of the Beasts (ROTB) news today when it comes to toys. We had new listings earlier today and we have another one: Studio Series leader class Optimus Primal. this is our very first listing for a Rise of the Beast toy not made just for kids. However, this is a leader class toy, and Optimus Primal is usually voyager sized, so expect the similar type of release where the main bot is voyager sized and comes with accessories or more parts, bumping him up a class.

This comes from fellow Seibertronian Gotbot who posts on youtube. He had another listing, Transformers Generations Holiday Prime, though that is not a movie listing.

As for more ROTB news, we have a new product to show you. it is part of the mainline for kids, a transforming mask. It is a mask of Optimus Primal's beast mode which turns into Optimus Primal's robot mode. We again see the new Maximal symbol used for the upcoming movie and we know this is a real product since we have the instructions next to it. These toys are out there and we are bound to get more and more news regarding them one way or another.

You'll let us know what you think.

Plot twist - ROTB Primal doesn't turn into a gorilla, he turns into a giant floating gorilla face.

that looks extremely uncomfortable to wear. also, if prime and primal tango, and prime does the ole "I want your face" stick, will definitely give this one new meaning

Wonder who gave him THAT idea (cough MEGATRON cough)

Don't know if it was intentional, but that's a nice little Beast Machines nod...

Holy god- this might be one of the best pieces of TF merch ever. An ape mask?? Ape mask to robot mode? Yes, I'll take 5.

I'll admit that's an extremely creative idea for a kid's toy. That way when Halloween's over, you can still play with it as a regular ol' robot toy!

Or it's actually Under-3 as a gorilla head instead. He does look a lot like Primal in bot mode.

If these were around when I was a kid I sure wouldn't need Halloween as an excuse to wear them. ;)

Also, haloween costumes in general tend to be the robot and not the alt mode.

Any idea how much that mask will cost?
Voyager priced, leader priced, or something in between? :-?

That looks super uncomfortable. Are you supposed to stick his feet in your mouth?

The actual SS figures may still look nice though.

Voyager priced

2-In-1 Mask – $34.99 each

I'm expecting a 50$CAD price

I dunno, I think the idea of dressing up as a robot gorilla to be just as fun as dressing up as a robot that turns into a gorilla!

'Do you want to know how I got these scars?'

'You wore a Primal mask, didnt you?'

'Ook'

Looks neat will be cool to see if and what other characters get done in this style.

It appears tome that whoever designed it either didn't actually wear it themselves nor did kid testing because it doesn't look wearable without some mild discomfort. Though it's possibly whoever folded the legs inward did it wrong and they're supposed to elsewhere.

What an extremely badly designed and silly little product.

I suppose its redeemable feature is that it doesn't cost as much as TT/Casio's Optimus/Nemesis "watch mount"...

I have a suspicion though that this toy will be KO'd up the wazoo.

Anyway, be Hasbro, please listen carefully to us fans the next time we say we want "Transformable M.A.S.K toys linked to the expanded TF universe"...

It's probably been tested to make sure that doesn't happen. They won't voluntary release something that would cause them to be sued.
