I'm curious, Saj. Did you already had all those Generations before, or are you double-dipping because "why not"?

Also, please share in the TLK thread if you run into any QC issues with Dragonstorm.
I've been burned one too many times already and I'm weary ass hell to buy any new Hasbro figures.
Jeez, I ran into defects 5 times already with TR and TLK alone!
Hasbro is slacking off in their QC department.

Issues 4 & 5 of the Definitive G1 collection arrived today.

Along with the free gifts of a tin plate cover of Marvel US #50 and a smashed up ceramic mug.

I really like the ceramic mug. It shows that there are some really stupid people out there. Stupider than me. I mean really, who throws a ceramic mug in a plastic bag and tosses it in the mail? Idiots.

Picked up the TLK legion two pack of Optimus and Grimlock from TRU.com. I would have bought this set anyway just to complete the quartet of Grimlocks in this mold, but I really only bought it now to get free shipping on Titans Return Arcee.

Today's haul, part 1:
Legends Kup, Hotrod (space herpes free!) and naturally a KO Sunstreaker after my legit Diaclone Redstreaker

Image

Today's haul, part 2....
Legends Sharkticonssss....

8 of them. Plus a sealed case. 20 total.

Image

To be perfectly honest, I'm not 100% on keeping them. But I'm also nowhere near deciding if I'ma sell some off either lol. Hey, at least I got 20 if I need'em right??!

 shajaki you madman.

Bah who am I kidding, if I could spend that amount of money on troop building, I'd totally have like 20 Prime Vehicons or 20 six inch Clone Troopers. Awesome haul!

While big for me, I see it's rather modest compared to others [ahem Shajaki]. First up is TR Overlord. Wow, amazing figure! I think it's my fav leader class and it's not even close. On to opening the others....

TR Cosmos and Seaspray are fun. Pretty good figures for such a small size.

Edit:

Finally got TR Perceptor and Top Spin. They're ok. Perceptor is a must for me because I like the character. It's not a bad figure but I don't love it. Top Spin brings back memories. It was one of the very few TFs I had growing up. TR version is nice but had a very wobbly head (due to extremely loose titan master head). Some nail polish helped a lot. Not a bad figure at all but Twin Twist is a bit nicer overall IMO.

I laughed at the absurd price of the TrU exclusives TLK deluxe MoC Megatron and Skullitron. 40$CAN plus taxes each? NOPE! Even on sale at 30$+TX was too much.

But I knew sooner or later, TrU will once again screw up with the price of those figures. Lo and behold, BAM!

Image

TrU have a sale on Transformers right now and the TLK deluxes are marked down at 24$ instead of 30$. The special label was clearly over the 39.99$ label. Instead of being 33$, the price shown was 24$. No 33$ in sight. At all.
Invoking Quebec's law of "label your sh!t right you dummasses", I got them both at 24$ each, minus 10$ in punitive damages. Grand total with taxes, 43.63$CAN! That's 21.82$CAN (17.48US) each. WITH TAXES.

I got rid of Generations deluxe IDW Megatron but the TLK version have a better head and much better paint. I know Skullitron will be a floppy mess but I have my Pledge Floor Finish. I knew biding my time would pay. Only thing I now need is a Steelbane for my sealed on card deluxes collection.... And Cogman. If he ever bother showing up.

Picked up a Slugslinger at Walmart today. Hope this doesn't mean I'll never find Deluxe waves 4 and 5. :(

Yesterday I was bitching about the complete and utter lack of Transformers distribution in my area.

Then I walked into Wal-Mart and found this, and promptly impulse bought it. Not sure if I'm keeping yet.

If you want to jump through 20 hoops to make 10$ of profit, go for it. But there's faster ways and easier ways to make 10$.

Beside, Overlord is now popping up everywhere and the scalpers will be stuck with overstocks pretty soon enough. >:oP

Gotta agree with Kan here. Unless he's double retail or more, it's seriously not worth the effort.

Anyways, I thought the RROF was dead? :-?

I impulse bought it for 40 bucks, currently don't have a place to put it (the unfortunate RROF situation), and it's selling for 70 or more on eBay. 30 bucks profit is more than worth the 15 to 20 minutes of actual effort that goes into selling on eBay. ;)

You forget that Ebay and Paypal take their cuts. Then, there's the shipping you have to pay up front (The buyer won't wait two weeks for you to ship the item). And finally, you'll have to deal with the risk of having a bad buyer and/or lost package in the mail.

I did sell a lot of things on Ebay myself. In the end, it wasn't worth all the trouble for the money it gave me. That's why I preferred getting rid of my overstock of figures to my local geek shop, Gamestop style, to get my G1s. Sure, I made maybe half the money compared to Ebay. But those toys were gone in a flash without having to deal with hundreds of buyers. Also, no shipping hassle. (I remember having to eat ramen for two weeks because I had so much shipping fees to pay up front. The postal office don't take Paypal unfortunately.)

You and I have had wildly different eBay experiences, my friend. Also, I have the PayPal debit card, so instant access to my funds is a swipe away.

On the hual topic, I am still happy to buy Bumblebee figures, and one of my local Wal-Mart's had 4 cases of TLK deluxe wave 3 on shelf.

All the Bees where gone of course. :BANG_HEAD:

Oh, that's new. A few years ago, this wasn't an option. Interesting. :-?
