So i secured the Netflix Nemesis Prime, after realizing that I really did like this Nemesis Prime and everything about him. I love this package, it is a lot of fun, and I am very happy to have this mold again. This is my favorite G1 Prime mold, and it makes a good Nemesis. I like it a lot.

I just HATED that Siege voyager Optimus. I found it daff, ugly, and not "cybertronian" at all. Especially compared to the stellar Generations deluxe Optimus form the first WFC game.

But as Nemesis Prime, he's PERFECT. That truck fit to a T and the bot looks menacing. Plus that transformation is very interesting. The only flaw is that those giant smokestacks who came with PotP Evolution OP have nowhere to go in any mode.

Yes I love that Nemesis, it's one of my favorites. Awesome package with all the accessories included with him.
Really the whole Netflix toyline was so excellent. The paint and decos really took a lot of molds to another level. Megatron, Magnus, Hotlink, Scrapface, Army Drone, Cheetor, Impactor. You can't go wrong with any of them.

They fit G1 PM Prime pretty well as substitutes for his originals.

Even with those double pegs?

No they have to be modified. I was thinking more about the size, it's in scale.

I think the pictures made it clear that there's a way to use them in robot mode, even if not a perfect fit

For alt mode, I normally plug them in at an angle at the bottom of the trailer, so they're kind of pointed 45ish degrees away on either side

Key part here.
By shaving the extra peg hole, they can fit pretty much anywhere. But I don't want to mess with those parts. Oh well, they are trailer fillers.

But they are not meant for that bot so it just look dumb. Maybe those had to be gang molded with the "lazerbeak" sword so they just said "meh" and threw the things in along? :-?

I think Nemesis was probably the best release overall for the Netflix line (most people would probably go with Soundwave or BB, which is understandable).... But certainly for the 3 "Mystery Boxes" he was the best character, and the best value at the price point.

Oh definitely. Especially because the only other option for a Nemesis Prime was the super expensive Takara exclusive. As for Megatron and Magnus, there were plenty to go around. Especially Megs who already got a Netflix before his Mystery Box.

Not to mention "super rare" now, too, since Hasbro's plans for the Netflix Nemesis forced Takara to cease production on their Nemesis, as Takara put theirs out without knowing, at the time, of Hasbro's forthcoming plans for Netflix Nemesis.

I never once saw a Nemesis Prime in store at Walmart. It's the only piece I didn't get from Netflix WFC.

I had to order mine from the Canadian west coast. Despite having to pay 15$ of shipping, no regrets. And if I remember, it was on Boxing Day sale so the shipping was basically free.

No regrets at all.

Same thing for Holiday Optimus if I think about it.

I never saw him anywhere, and lucked into this one for $50 on Facebook. It was especially satisfying after being told that getting him for less than $150 was a pipe dream.

As for Nemesis himself, I far prefer the Siege mold to the ER Prime mold. I do not like the ER Prime mold much, the legs really suck and throw him off so badly. Plus, Netflix Nemesis was actually a character I liked, so that works out too.

As for the accessories, I wish he didn't have the double guns, but they work as large shoulder stacks for now. I might give them to my PotP Optimus or Star Convoy for fun once they are out of moving totes.

Appart his "fanny pack" kibble on his lower back, ER Optimus is the perfect mold for the "real" Optimus. The Siege mold is the perfect one for Nemesis. That truck mode who was just "meh" for Optimus is surprisingly bad-ass for Nemesis.

I just wish the trailer would had some double peg holes on the side so that the giant smokestacks would fit. I could drill the holes myself but I really don't want to drill or slice anything on that set.

To me, the Siege mold is still the better Optimus. The legs ruin the ER figure for me, and the Siege on has a much better design and look as well. I do not mind the backpack, it helps make a real nice kickass truck. He is just much more fun, much more proportional, and in my mind has the better accessories too.

Siege>>ER to me.

I don't think Nemesis or the Megatron box ever appeared at Walmart B&M. Only Online on walmart.com, and Pulse. The Magnus set went clearance quickly because Walmart decided probably after they already ordered them, they didn't want them. They did the same with Siege Jetfire, all to their detriment. But then again Walmart isn't known for making smart decisions when it comes to toys.

I ordered both online and while I wanted Nemesis,I only wanted Skelivore from the Megatron box since I already had a Netflix Megatron, split the cost with someone here worked out well ;)^

That's how I remember it, especially after other stores started getting the Ultra Magnus set at the same clearance price Walmart had been selling it for a while. I bought all three of my sets from Walmart.com.

Double posting asside, I find those shoulder smokestacks completely out of place on Nemesis. For me, those can only be trailer accessories. Too bad they didn't mold in some new peg holes on the side of the trailer. At least, they can plug in inside for more tech details.

Another thing working against the spoiler packs in stores was the packaging was absolutely terrible for something that heavy. The lid to the box was held on by a cardboard flap on ine side and a single piece of tape on the other and the box was oriented to you would pick it up by the lid, which would immediately fall off and open up. Every single Magnus spoiler pack I saw in stores had the lid opened just from handling.

Not just that, but if you bought online you knew what you were getting making it more appealing. in stores it's just a box that could have literally anything in it to the uninformed.
