Is it possible Seibertron to get detail shots of the new heads? I know the gallery is in process, but I just wanted to ask.

Watched Optibotimus' review of Victorion, and while I like her overall, I am concerned about the 'cheap' plastic he was describing, as I've had numerous poor encounters with it, most notably, UM and Sky Lynx, that, combined with the fact that all 3 of my a/b molds are rather poorly engineered, make me very wary of spending any amount of money on her, as much as I would like to support her existence, I've gotta pass on it. Hopefully Liokaiser sheds the flaws of his mold-mate, and rises to the occasion, or this is going to be a pretty sad ending to the once-exalted CW line

I find it strange that hasbro missed the opportunity of creating more new and auxiliary members like rook, alpha bravo and off road so that you could make all new combiners and have your own combiner because after all the g1 teams are so iconic and gel so well. I'm kind of suprised they didn't make say four new character voyagers and say 8-16 deluxes that were brand new characters. Turning the ark crew into combiners was very meh.

I very much like the looks of Victorion and look forward to having her. She is honestly a good looking figure and honestly, I really love her symmetry. The coptors and the cars make for a pleasing silhouette.

Yeah, I enjoyed Rook and Offroad a lot, would've loved more ORIGINAL characters, I skipped the ark crew once, and I only got wave 4 because they actually looked really nice. I really dislike a/b due to engineering issues, but I liked the idea of him though

Meh is an understatement. They could have used characters like the Predators and Turbomasters.

They're kinda out there, but I think it could've been neat to see the Omnibots in place of some of the '84/85 limbs. They haven't had much in the way of toys, the fact their original body structures aren't too iconic would make being adapted to the Stunticon molds easier, they could look universal enough to not be out of place on any Autobot Combiner, and if the minor fiery orange/yellow details from Camshaft and Overdrive's toys and blue-silver from their artwork were played up into larger, more prominent patterns, they'd have the potential of being visual standouts.

I was thinking that. They could have easily made thunderclash and as you said some turbomasters and called the combined mode turbomaster. Just opportunities not smartly taken. Similarly the predators too or even pump out a new group or two. Instead they repainted prime white and released a scattorshot separate from a later box set computron. It's just weird.

Hasbro clarified why that happened. They were not going to do Computron at first, just Scattershot. But later, they realized they could do a full computron but it was too late to change production schedules so they still released scattershot individually. Their defence is that they at least gave the box set scattershot a new deco (which I feel is even better than Takara's in alt mode).

But its a dog eat dog world on these forums sometimes and while we got some cool guys like Cobotron trying to keep it nice, its best to just check one's facts to avoid being blasted. For instance all I did was go to the Steal of a Deal thread and I did a search for Devastator, who is the only CW Boxset of last year. And sure enough I found a post of him discounted. Thats all that really mattered, info on local stores is iffy and not the best way to prove a point (but its not at all arrogant to use it in a discussion, dont listen to haters).
It didnt matter if my TRU was stocked and yours wasnt, these are just brick and mortar stores and discounts can happen anywhere, like on TFSource or Amazon. So just be clear next time and say that if you are hoping to pick up Victorion in stores in your area, then its best to buy him right away since things are flying off the shelves there. Nobody can argue with that. But using general statements saying a toy will never be discounted leaves you open to people looking to contradict you.

Aren't toys planned a year - two years out though? I kinda doubt hasbro released it and then went oh we can cash in on that set. It just seems like a money grab imo. In saying that I suppose you could customize the spare scattorshot into an all new robot by changing the heads just like I'm doing with white prime to thunderclash. I'm just very surprised at hasbros choices. This was a massive chance to fill out pegs with new characters and really making it into a combiner war. They had the fiction in idw to support any new characters and they could and should have went all out by having say four brand new teams two bits two cons that could interchange within their own faction. I do believe predaking will come eventually but I would've taken predaking and let hasbro remould some of them and call them maximals.

For this reason, it would be good if Hasbro released the Technobot limbs individually, for those of us who did get Scattershot by himself. (Or am I gonna have to substitute with the limbs' mold-mates, for a Frankentron?) I still don't get that decision, though. Why release a team leader without the team in the 1st place?
