The original, hands down!
Yeah, that's the one I was thinking of. The real Black Convoy. :-D

I still need a Black Convoy and Baldigus to complete my RiD2001 pred/con shelf. I hate that a lot of the UW sets are so expensive now. outside of maybe Menasor and Superion, they are all like $300+

Where are you looking? Don't use eBay, it's scalper city. At the risk of sounding like a broken record, you can find UW sets for pretty good prices on Mandarake. They aren't always in stock as it's a preowned store, but they're MUCH cheaper than buying from eBay.

Ebay was my source, the UW sets have all but disappeared from everywhere else. Might give mandarake a look

It's worth looking into, even if they don't have it in stock right now there's a good chance one will come in eventually.

Manadrake does currently pose another problem for the US as their only available shipping method right now is DHL (very expensive). Hopefully if we ever get through Covid, the cheaper options will come back into play.

Wouldn't work yet with my configuration. Still need a standalone Jazz and Wreck Gar.

Don't have RTS or United Jazz?

I'm still waiting on a combining Sideswipe and Windcharger...

Yeah, that's not even a question. Both updates are watered-down midgets in comparison.

On its own, the Headmaster one is a nice figure, but the original still beats all.

Sideswipe Definitely. I mean I know these characters aren't meant to be combiners, but as he is the only 84 Autobot Standard size car not to have a combiner toy made, it would be nice to finish what was started.... Would also be a perfect finish for the last combiner I'm missing one limb for.

I want him and Windcharger, because of the episode "Masquerade".

I could see Windcharger being made from the Dead End mold in one of two ways. Either a straight redeco of Dead End with his head colored toy-accurately (visor and mouthplate), or a redeco of Wildrider with the horns removed from the sides of his head for cartoon-accuracy.

I've downloaded the Comperian and Abomenaticus posters from TFWiki, and I can make at least the Abominus + Bruticus combo (missing Dead End for the main event), which is cool I guess :P

Anyway, looking them over, I've noticed some limbs are not reused between alternate combinations:

Autobots
Groove
First Aid
Strafe
Nosecone
Fireflight

Decepticons
Rippersnapper
Brawl
Drag Strip

I know Brawl and Nosecone are used in Super Scrambles.

I wonder how I can use that... :-?

Transformers Combiner Wars Titan Class Devastator Reissue Preorder Live On Hasbro Pulse

Greetings Seibertronians! Thanks to fellow Seibertron users, Magirus976 and AcademyofDrX, we now know that the reissue of Transformers Generations Combiner Wars Titan Class Devastator is now available to preorder on Hasbro Pulse! The price of the reissue is $149.99.

First released back in 2015 as the Titan Class for the Combiner Wars line. This toy also saw an SDCC release with a different head and some minor deco differences. It was also retooled by Takara and released under their Unite Warriors line. That release was more expensive however.

Did you miss out on this Titan? Did you manage to secure one all those years ago? Let us know in the Energon Pub and stay tuned to Seibertron for all the latest news and reviews!

It's a nice alternative I guess for those that missed out, also goes well with the Siege Omega Supreme reissue (I wish they would have reissued Metroplex back in 2017 when TR Trypticon came out , but that is all moot now...)

I am happy with the UW Version I have, and the scaled down KO Taikongzhans that goes well with all other CW/UW/PotP/Selects Combiners. Honestly, if I didn't have this now, I'd probably still shell out the cash for the UW version, but that's just me.

Well, actually, Takara at least did reissue Metroplex to accompany Trypticon. Back in January 2018. I understand why Hasbro didn't - one Titan on the shelves at a time seems to be stretch as it is, never mind two. And Pulse wasn't really set up at the time.

Well, if this uses the original Hasbro toolings for the Constructicons I can't say I blame you.

I have the Unite Warriors release, and it suits me just fine. I'm a little salty that I lost one of the guns when I left a job about 2 years ago. A former coworker was supposed to return it to me but he stopped responding to my messages, and the office is presumably closed due to all this mess. But honestly, since he stays combined most of the time, the Hasbro version probably would have been fine.

Honestly, this is freaking exciting. Everyone here saying its not what they want cause it's not the UW version, but I just can't believe it's cheaper than the titan retail price. Knowing this was getting reissued, I honestly expected it to be a $200+ money grab, but now I've got my chance to get it since i got out of collecting during the time he was originally released. Just made my order. Thanks Hasbro!

I went the in between route, Hasbro with the PC-07 upgrade kit for the guns and elbows. I got mine at TRU at 15% off for using the TRU card with $10 back in rewards to boot, so I really couldn't pass up the deal on the Hasbro version compared to Takara and basically used what I saved from the sale/deal to buy the upgrade kit.

So since we're talking about news on Hasbro pulse, while I was ordering the devastator reissue I noticed something unusual with the newly announced Kingdom figures. it seems like nobody's mentioned the prices of Kingdom wave 2's deluxes on pre-order. Oddly enough they all seem to be marked back down to $19.99 instead of wave 1's 22.99. Odd.

Its not cheaper. Its the same price for the exact same toy released in 2015. It shouldn't cost more. If it did have a markup, yes that would be a cash grab. This is neither a mark-up or a good deal, it's just normal price.

Lol I figured someone would jump on what I said to put a negative spin on it. Guess I shouldn't be surprised.
The way I see it, it costs them more to remanufacture the item this time around since they aren't producing it in quantities as high as the first time around (it is just a limited reissue after all), so they could have easily marked it up $20-$30 amd many people would still buy it since that's still much better than paying $300+ for this on ebay. It's alright to compliment Hasbro on the things they do right, not just accuse them when they make a "cash grab" move.
