Source?

I'm pretty sure Will is actually incorrect on this.

Yes, turns out I am wrong. I found the release date and description from an entertinament site quoting Hasbro:

War for Cybertron: Earthrise is a new line of figures from Hasbro and will be launching March 1, 2020. In this line, you’ll see Battle Masters, Micromasters, Deluxe, Voyager and Leader figures. The first Battle Master figure will be Soundbarrier who will be 1.5 inches tall and run for $5.99. Next, let’s move to the Micromasters where there’s a Hot Rod Patrol 2-pack that will include Daddy-O and Trip-Up. There’s also the Military Patrol 2-pack with Bombshock and Growl. Both of these 2-packs will cost $9.99. Third, the Deluxe figures. These stand at 5.5 inches and will cost $19.99. The Deluxe figures include Hoist, Cliffjumper, Wheeljack, and Ironworks. Fourth, we have the Voyager figures that include Starscream and Grapple. These will be 7-inch figures running $29.99. Finally, we have our first Leader figure: Optimus Prime. For $49.99, fans will get a 7-inch figure of the Autobot leader.

Anyways, all these new toys look good. Will probably get Arcee, always curious as to how they pull off that design.

It seems like the compromises for Scorponok are acceptable—shaving off weight and parts count by omitting the large gun, partner, small dishes etc. We know 3P will step in there.

With Fasttrack being issued separately, we are pretty close to complete. Hoping they can include some of his accessories with other characters like they have done with other characters. (Megatron part with Soundwave for example.)

Compromises? Now you have me slightly worried. The omission of weapons is fine. We are getting Fasttrack as a Weaponizer. Also, the Upper thighs and crotch area look like heavy redesigns of Metroplex/Fortmax. I could be wrong, but I just want Scorponok to be the full 24 inch height he should be.

Ditto, I only remember Soundwave coming with Soundwave pieces... Unless they're talking about a different release Soundwave?

Missed that about the sky Lynx shuttle name! That's awesome.

I think gothsaurus means the extra pistol Soundwave came with. It makes a good shoulder cannon for Megs if you mount it on his back.

For me this Arcee is better than ever! Really love how she looks and her accessory, Skylinkx is the perfect figure for me, I hope they make as a commander class Overlord too

Exactly. Soundwave's gun is clearly a pistol barrel with a sight on it—intended to peg into Megatron's back for a more G1 look.

Fantastic stuff. So glad Sky Lynx can split into two just like the original, and Scorponok looks amazing. Arcee and Fasttrack are pretty decent, too.

The Decepticon Titans always look so much better than the Autobot ones! That Scorpy looks like it will be one hell of a great figure!

All 4 of these look like they're worth picking up. Arcee is definitely an improvement over the T30 figure. And I'm glad Scorponok didn't come with all that extra stuff.

Don't get me wrong. I DO want all those extra bobbles and bits. BUT I'm okay with buying them separately if it's what needs to happen to drive the price down.

Most importantly, I'm praying they have done what's necessary to have Scorponok match Fort Max height exactly. Accessories and little buddies and bits... we can that deal with later.

Will get all of them. I liked the generations sky lynx but this one eclipses it of course. Pity re the back pack for arcee but i have a feeling it can be used as a shield. Fast track is great though i hope the guns turn out a bit more orange to match skorponok’s.

And Skorponok looks great, hope he's big enough to give fortress tough opposition (Have a feeling he will be similar in size to omega). Hope the ankles are sturdy too.

One pet peeve from the original toy i was hoping would be corrected are his shoulder mounted turrets. They were always depicted as being able to move up and down. Alas they still appear to be just flat guns. The original also had four of them. Im sure 3p accessory makers will have a few upgrade kits for him as he seems to be missing his orange gun too...

I'm absolutely sure the "missing" parts are to drive price down. Maybe they will show up in other toys as accessories—or as convention exclusives. The big gun might be a candidate for that.

Well, I think I'll get all of these. Scorpinok because I have Fort Max, mostly. Fastrack to "complete" Scorpy. Skylynx is everything I want from that figure. I had Return of OP when I was a kid so I want a good Skylynx.

I was happy with Arcee for a hot second until I noticed the entire back half of her vehicle is a stand. Oh, "hoverboard", sorry. It reminds me of a KO of Gen Arcee where the entire back half comes off to make a better robot mode. The bot mode looks nicer than Legends, but overall it's kinda worse, ain't it? But I may get it anyway. Since I'm stupid like that. And it'll make Arcee look different than Nightbird and Lifeline, which is a plus. But I've made a promise with myself not to get TFs I don't really like anymore and this just might fall into that category. I wish they had made this version a Headmaster. At least then it would bring something new to the table - a Headmaster G1 styles Arcee.

We had a titan master arcee (though the tm wasn't arcee).

We haven't seen Scorponok blast effect pieces yet but I'd rather his shoulder guns be correct than have the effect parts. I think this is probably the worst out of all the titans but its likely due to me wanting it the most out of them all and having the highest hopes.

I am glad to see Arcee has less spindly proportions than her T30 predecessor. Backpack aside I am very happy for this.

I am warming up quickly to Scorponok but he isnt an immediate must have like OS was.

Sky Lynx, they really stuck the landing. I will need that ASAP.

Surprised to see Fasttrack was not a Cog style weaponizer. I could see them pulling a Roller out of that if they wanted to. I kinda hope they don't though.

Immortal Starscream wrote:I am really not too keen on the entire back half of arcee's car mode just being a separate piece you remove for robot node, even less that it is being called a "hoverboard" it makes a very good looking robot mode feel cheapened imho

as for the rest though, all amazing. Can't wait to finally have a proper Sky Lynx and Scoponok

I'll just put the cockpit part of Arcee to the side. I like that they tried with a gimmick to make all of her useful, but I'm good - that means between this and Masterpiece I might be getting two Arcee figures this year. Fasttrack looks so good, I might even want Skorponok. Also, love the 'sized-up' Headmaster on Skorpy...probably won't be getting it, unfortunately. Sky Lynx, though. Definitely a get. No question.

Wasn't G1 styled. And it's a pink Blurr. Blurr makes for a decent enough Arcee, but it's still just Blurr.

An you know what they say about having high hopes  ;) I quite like the look of Scorpy, if I had the space for Titan Class, he'd be one that I'd get.

It is an odd feeling...since I got back into TF toys with CW, I don't really have a lot of duplicates. Some people get the New Optimus & Megatron for each line, I understand that. But other than CW Optimus Prime, I really don't have a proper Optimus. Earthrise will fill that space for me. I also don't really have a Megatron at all, still waiting on that one...But of all the figures, who'd have thought I would have 2 of...it would be Sky Lynx  I like the idea of the CW one, to give him an added boost against Predaking (even though they made Predaking a Titan Class... /:) ) But having this Commander Class Sky Lynx really does look nice, and of course the Base mode adds to the ever expanding Cybertron City!

A little concerned by Scorpy's super tiny ankle joints. Looks like they were made to fail. Otherwise I'm really happy with him and pretty surprised he comes with his shield, I thought the tower detail would just be the underside of the hatch door.

People seem to have missed that Fasttrack is listed as having a third "staff" mode to be used by Titans. Interesting choice and you can see the blade for the staff on the back of his alt mode.

Image

That tip looks an awful lot like this:

Image

That's the end of Black Zarak's staff. I doubt we'll get a Black Zarak repaint, but it's a nice Easter egg. Also he does have a wide assortment of pegs and peg holes so he probably can function as a Weaponizer, too.

I hope they repaint the hell out of this new Arcee mold like they did with the Moonracer mold. We need a lot more females.
