Well, look who it is!

I didn’t get them because I just dropped a ton on TFs, but they are starting to show up. No voyagers yet.

Edit: Wow, Jazz is small. Great looking paint though!

The 2007 Stockade/Gears mold is FANTASTIC. That's for sure.

Seconded. And while I own Stockade, after having read the Classified novels I wish I'd gotten Gears too, as those books made him into a cool character (I envisioned him being voiced by Michael Dorn in those books).

I never saw gears in person, my son apparently likes stockade as well, and has even claimed him as his own  the allspark power lines did have a few good toys in it. A shame that the non-appearing characters will just be folded away into history

I liked Stockade when I had him in 2007 but after getting him again last year I think my tastes have changed a bit cos I didn't like that figure so much anymore. The windows in robot mode particularly bugged me. Still quite fond of Dropkick and Landmine though. At moment though I've been feeling like trying to hunt down a 2010 non-movie movie toy in the form of Highbrow with that lovely WWII plane mode and the nifty goggles in robot mode. Such a hard one to find at a good price though and I never had it before cos i never once saw it in shops. I hope maybe it'll get a re-release if they ever do a WWII Bee from TLK like I wish they would.

After seeing an oversized and improved Studio Series Blackout by Wei Jiang (which seems way too large for Blackout now but maybe good as Grindor) I do wonder if they'll be doing their own upscale and upgrade of Grimlock who is the only character who had to be greatly shrunk to even fit in the Studio range. Grimlock needs to be big enough for Prime to sit upon his back to scale like in AoE.

Have there been any news about proposed Leader Class releases? I know this is all just speculation, but I was wondering what other Transformers in this series would be good Leader Class. I mean obviously Grindor (as a Blackout repaint), but I think Slug and Scorn would be neat. Strafe would probably be a Voyager.

I was thinking also RotF Demolishor, though arguably he could even be a Supreme or Titan Class toy by himself, I seriously doubt Hasbro would do that, so he's probably be Leader Class. This also gets into the *sticky* area of the Constructicons. I would so love for a proper SS set of Constructicons/ Devastator to come out, but the more I think about it, the more problematic it is. There are several of the same vehicle mode that could be used as stand ins. Do you make them all compatible? Do you make Devaststor out of 6, 7 or 9 parts (whatever is true to the movie sans balls I guess.... 8-} ) Also, I was thinking a box set would be cool, but If Demolishor/Scavenger is a Leader, then the rest would have to be Voyagers, perhaps some of the smaller only hand/foot componants could be deluxe, and that would be one massive box, and massively expensive....additionally this monstrosity may not be able to stand on it's own (Kind of reminds me of that McFarlane combiner way back when....)

I don't know, I'm just rambling right now, but I sure hope :HASBRO: finds a way to make it work.

Mcfarlane combiner?

I've often pondered the devestator conundrum, and the only way to do it would be either through haslab and have it be massive, or have it be leader with Legion class figures for scaling purposes included

Transformers Studio Series Bumblebee Movie Bumblebee Revealed with Others #HasbroSDCC

Live from the Hasbro floor at San Diego Comic Con, we have our next round of reveals: Studio Series! The reveals for this line include several repaints and a brand new mold: the Bumblebee VW bug body from the Bumblebee movie! The new figure is based on his look for the upcoming Bumblebee movie, out in December. Also revealed is the new Dark of the Moon styled Ratchet, the voyager Ironhide and tattooed Starscream, an orange decoed Lockdown that sort of reminds us of Blazing Lockdown (now confirmed to be called Shadow Raider!), and a blue Stinger that represents the KSI Sentries from Age of Extinction!

Also of note, that golden Studio Series Bumblebee based on his original movie body from 2007? Well, it appears as though that truly was merely volume 1, as we also have images of the new Studio Series Bumblebee movie Bee in a similar set with Decepticon Uriad and an Autobot Zauru, labeled as Volume 2!

Check out the images below, and let us know what you think in the comments section below!

Edited with new Images including MPM-6 Ironhide, MPM-5 Barricade, and other Studio Series figures, and now the correct names for Shadow Raider and KSI Sentry!

i just do not like that backpack on the bumblebee for the movie. I was really hyped for this figure but the figure just disappointed me with that backpack. i am willing to give it a second chance with more pictures and reviews from either Emgo or Optibotimus

The SDCC Bumblebee fakeout was clever. Saves them from spoiling the new Bee figure and now makes the set more worth getting. Still probably won’t get it, but now I’m interested.

Lockdown’s new weapon looks suspiciously foldable... I predict that it’s able to extend and attach to Lockdown’s face to make his gunface mode.

Blue Stinger (or Trax, whatever) I would probably buy two of as like army builders for Stinger to lead into battle.

blue stinger? orange lockdown? WTF? Are they trying to do some weird camouflage thing?

I'm Lockdown and I'm as orange as the sun and therefore no one can find me

I'm Stinger and I'm so blue that I'm sad that they gave me this kind or repaint

Can someone explain to me the blue Stinger guy?

EDIT: I looked up Trax (on TFWiki) and it seems to be a cross between that guy and G1 Tracks or something.

Also, as someone else mentioned, this looks like a new set. The cassettes have different decos. (In total 1 original set and 1 Decepticon set?)

The 2007 gold bumblebee was probably not a fake out considering that this versions box says volume 2 while the original one said volume 1

What fakeout? That's a completely different set from the one with the golden classic Camaro. That was Vol. 1 and comes with the normal version of Dial and the Decepticon recolor of Zaur. This is Vol. 2 and comes with the Decepticon recolor of Dial and the normal version of Zaur.

Most likely a representation of one of the KSI-created Decepticons from Age of Extinction. Which particular one though, you got me.

Intresting color palette for Lockdown. Would have preferred a green one so that it sorta looked like animated Lockdown. That being said he's got a new weapon and head sculpt so I might buy it to add onto the orginal release. BB Bumblebee looks alright but these photos are doing him no favors (no disrespect to the photographer) The battle mask is a pleasant surprise too. :P

You guys got it wrong, the previous Retro Rock Cafe is Volume 1, with a Decepticon Urauz and an Autobot Dile. This one is Retro Pop Highway, Volume 2, with a Decepticon Uriad and an Autobot Zauru. Different sets.

Maybe the Lockdown is a really weird homage to the Construct-Bots Lockdown that was packed with Hangnail?

But on a serious note, is it really too much to ask for for the Transformers people to transform their figures properly? Like I'm getting tired of having to wait for reviewers to show it properly themselves. its just bad marketing. the transformers people are showing off their figures poorly causing people like me to be disgusted by that mpm ironhide, due to mistransformation. this is their specialty. Making transformers so if you want to make it right, then show it right so that the fans can actually see the good sides of all the toys and figures that they show off. like people always say, "pls show my good side." i want the transformers to be properly transformed and showed like they should be on their packaging instead of things being misaligned and out of place making the whole figure look ugly and just not worth buying

Also after some observation and checking the wiki: the Volkswagen Bumblebee is in a 2-pack with what appears to be TLK Bumblebee, and Trax comes with some cool claw that attaches to his arm-kibble gun rather than Stinger’s shuriken.

Don't start hating Bee just yet! The backpack is clearly mistransformed, like how it is in the box. It surely folds up more. The new Blue vehicon, I guess was the rumored KSI drone, unless we are getting the KSI BOSS, which would be an easy Nitro retool. That Lockdown is odd, but the Dotm Ratchet has a WAAAY better paintjob on the face! Love all the images, but Hopefully we get pics of that bonecrusher!

Also, Studio Series Longarm anyone? I know he only showed up as a lifeless Truck, but still.....
