Found at TrU I bet?
How much was it?

It could only be TRU. And it was only 109$. It will probably be on 20% discount within 3 months and at that price it will be a pretty good deal.

If I ever get that box, it will be only on sale. And if I miss out, no biggie.
But Origin Bee, that's a must.

Origins Bee DCPI is 087-16-3816, but it isn't working on Brickseek. He is in solid cases. The Studio Series Deluxes are in versus 2-packs with Clunker Bee vs Barricade, VW Bee vs Car Dropkick and Evasion Bee vs Stinger. The 2-packs are in cases of 4 with Clunker Bee vs Barricade double packed.

Yeah, Brickseek didn't show anything for Origin Bee or the Worlds Collide set in my area but I found both.

Ah, okay thank you. Good to know it's solid cases, that pretty much alleviates the temptation to pay for one of the overpriced copies on ebay

It being a solid case means nothing if you store never gets a case. Thrust and Runabout were all solid cases too.

True, but my Targets have been good about getting the exclusives, albeit a bit later than the rest. And even though they weren't stocking as much during Earthrise, they still stocked Thrust and Runabout for a couple weeks despite Earthrise already having supply issues. So I'd rather wait a couple weeks to see what they pull out, especially with the upcoming restock for August, rather than spend $50 on a deluxe that's just now starting to release

This may not be a perfect toy, but it fulfills a (nearly) lifelong dream. It is not an exaggeration to say this is everything I have ever wanted from a toy.

I just picked up 2 Origin Bumblebee's today. The woman had to pull them out of the back. And I **** you not, the very first thing she said was "THESE TINY THINGS ARE $22 EACH???".

Regular people are noticing how badly Hasbro is screwing us on the prices. You can ignore all the Hasbro apologists. If Buzzworthy Bumblebee is aimed at children & parents are saying this, that can't be a good sign. How many more price hikes can Hasbro get away with before it starts to have a negative effect? :-?

This Origin Bumblebee is half figure & half empty box & people are noticing. And Hasbro is so cheap they didn't even bother to close it in with plastic, the window is open which adds to the cheap feel of it. I don't like being ripped-off but the Cybertronian modes have always been the main things I've always wanted from G1. So I had to get him. Now I hope they make Wheeljack.

Hasbro is moving away from plastic packaging as part of its sustainable efforts.

"This is so overpriced I only bought two!" is a heck of an argument, dude. Not sure you're sending a strong message of dissatisfaction to Hasbro.

He wasn't talking about himself, he was referring to the casual who barely know anything about the hobby. That's why for them, there's Cyberverse figures with fun gimmicks and a huge for the same price, but are light, hollow, and have not many parts.

And even those are selling well

Exactly. They are completely different and fill a different need. I even bought some myself. I love my complicated transformers, but if I just want to play around with a "stress ball", I'll take a hollow-simple Evergreen or Cyberverse toy over any Generations, 3P, or MP.

This is our preview of Hasbro's almost zero plastic packaging. If you look at the packaging, you'll find the only plastic used is the hook for hanging on the pegs. The ties have switched to rattan and are taped to the back, even the little circle discs the ties would go through are gone. Voyagers and Leaders could be completely plastic free on the packaging since they don't need peg hooks.

It does look weird on the pegs when you first see it. But I used the clear view in my favor to pick the best of the paint deco without having to look through plastic.

It's going to make it even easier for the figures to get scuffed and damaged in the packaging. I can't wait to see how Amazon is going to ship these boxes.

This is something that can be solved through better packaging design on the cardboard windows, the plastic on the window is not strictly necessary. I agree the window in the Origin Bumblebee box is not a good choice as it makes it more likely for the figure to get damaged, but the packaging for Generations figures will probably get redesigned to take that factor into account.

There's all kinds of patterns and folds you can easily and inexpensibly give to cardboard boxes to showcase a product and protect it at the same time.

I'm expecting that. They already got fairly creating in securing the gun and energon rods for Bee without any ties or tape. The Origins Bee package was actually a really good release to test things out on before going larger scale for mainline packaging.

I'm guessing every single Fangry has loose knees :BANG_HEAD: at least mine feels solid in beast mode so I can put him on the Monsterbot shelf I have at work.

OG Bee is cool and I feel the World's Collide Bee is probably going to be his look going forward unless he is a Camaro. A VW Bug just isn't practical with licensing nor are they really common on the streets. Using the Cliffjumper feet and back also matches up with Bug Bite and the upcoming SG Goldbug.

Bee doesn't need to be a VW but he definitely (and I can't believe this is something we can discuss) needs a unique vehicle from Cliff. In what bizarro world are we now that Cliffjumper is the one being piggybacked by Bumblebee?? 8-} I use the 06 Classics car as an example usually, but anything that has a similar "personality" to a VW would work, as long as it's a rounder car than Cliff's sleeker car mode. We'll no doubt see this mold retooled and reused again for another year so maybe we'll get more vehicles (or at least another weapon).

I think its fair turnabout

So the World's Collide pack is nice but every figure except Bee has a floppy piece. Blackarachnia's neck and Primal's flipping chest plate. Neither affect transformation but may be a turn-off to some. I'm glad I got it though as I really like the look of those two, Fangry is fun despite the loose knees, and Bee is another Bee.

The only Buzzworthy around me is the big one from AOE, no origins Bee or Studio Series packs. I'd like to get the Clunker Bee vs Barricade set, and Origins Bee is a maybe. I haven't picked up a G1 figure since POTP, but I do like unique Bumblebees so we'll see.

Well DUH! The point of my post was the reaction from that woman & regular people. Parents thinking it's a blatant rip-off & not purchasing it.

I even pointed out that I HATE the price but the Cybertronian modes were the thing I wanted most from G1.

You seriously need to work on your reading comprehension. Learn how to pick out the main point of a paragraph.

I kinda thought the Buzzworthy line is pretty much aimed at the same audience as Cyberverse. I mean, with a godawful name like that it has to be aimed at really young children no?
