Power don't last forever. It's just a matter of time.

Oh, and based on the above, even though 3P already made those, I don't think we will ever see Masterpieces of the Monsterbots.

Indeed... I just don't think we'll be around to see it ;)

The monster combiner sounds like a cool idea. Though want to talk about impossibilities, an in scale Masterpiece Omega ;) or any of the city bots for that matter. They'd have to come up with a new scaling system for characters that fit into that size bracket. Would probably create its own subline as well.

Know what? I'd really love to see a sub-line of MP city/base bots.
Call it ironic, but the scale should be around CHUG leader sized for the bots. They would come with at least 4 or 6 mini non-transformable action figures (mp human sized) of classic Bots and Cons. Also in the same box set, there should be actual set pieces like for standard electric trains sets. In fact, make the citybots at the same scale as the standard small electric train.

All set pieces that come with a citybot could be compatible with the other sets. Ultimately, one could create a complete and kick-ass diorama. Of course, such box sets would be priced for around 300-ish dollars. And as usual the MP line will be RUINED FOREVER because of the citybots subline. ;)

But what we would we call such a line :-?

The line up has the advantage of having repaints built in
Omega Supreme / Omega Sentinel
Metroplex / Metrotitan
Trypticon / BW2 Gigastorm
Fortress Maximus / Grand Maximus / Brave Maximus
Scorponok / Black Zarak

To say nothing of toy colours vs cartoon Colours

Let's dig up some obscures.

1) Guiltar. Given that his color scheme is so close to a normal Prime's and Nemesis fille "evil Prime" very well, I doubt we'll see this guy. Especially not as he should be - a combination of Megatron and Prime and not just a Prime mold.

2) Deathsaurus' wife.

3) Alana.

4) Paddles.

5) Autobot Spike. bonus points if they somehow make him from all the parts he's supposed to be made out of from previous molds!

Reeaaaaaaaally have to dig deep here.

Your thinking just G1 ;) expand to the other parts of the franchise and the pools widens a lot. That's not even counting comics!

To be fair, she only shows up at the end of the Transformers Victory adaption which varies greatly from the anime. In the end, its turns out that Deathsaurus was trying to raise his Fortress again because all the families of his Decepticons are in there, so he and Starsaber make peace.

Yeah, that's why I think it's a safe bet she'll never be made. :P

I know my list is mainly G1, but that's where my interest lies. So it's a list of TFs that'll never get made that I'd still like to have.

Although, thinking of comics, I'd want an Emirate Xaaron. Although they easily could from Siege Megatron.

Might be more for a custom than anything else but earthrise grapple done in gray as g1 longarm/shockwave the box around the head should be able to hide a face that can rotated to reveal and change the hand cannon shape to a more shockwave shape.

This could easily be a Select.

One I won't say never ever but put in unlikely is the often mentioned idea, when we had Siege's Weaponizer unveiled of a Voyager and Leader class category of Generations Weaponizers who represent the various "magic mushrooms" of the franchise but redone to be a bit more universal or at the very least designed to be stuck on a Voyager/Leader figure. As such:
-God/Apex Armor
-Victory Leo
-RID Ultra Magnus
-Armada Overload
-Armada Jetfire
-Energon Omega Supreme
-Energon or Cybertron Wing Saber
I honestly think these could be done as fairly decent Voyager Weaponizers who would conveniently be able to be arranged in a way to combine with their matching Optimus-or-other-analogue but still be functioning as Weaponizers for any figure with enough ports. I mean, how cool would it be to stick, say, a smaller Godbomber on Siege Optimus Prime? Or maybe with some fiddling on Titans Return Sentinel Prime? You'd basically have semi-universal 'magic mushrooms'.

Well, there's another chapter after Earthrise to conclude the trilogy. And it seem the weaponizers are the main gimmick. So having voyagers/leaders weaponizers is not an impossibility for now.

Man, I would really love to have a Commander or Titan class boxset of Generations Victory Saber!

I know people want a Commander Class Star Saber but honestly I'd be totally okay if he was a Leader class figure. Which these days is closer to a Voyager with extras but still. Commander class make sense for his in-show scale and would allow for his smaller 'Saber' robot but I don't think it's that essential to the character. Would I welcome it as a feature? Yes. But honestly I don't think it's that mandatory compared to his full super robot form.

1. Leader doesn't automatically equal "Voyager with extras", it's just that that's more common in Generations right now because it's more scale-accurate for the characters using the size class than having them be 9" tall. For Star Saber, who's supposed to be big, they could easily go back to doing a larger figure.
2. Having the smaller Saber robot scales down a good bit, just look at Robot Masters. A Leader would be more than capable of pulling it off - and would have, if he'd won the poll back in PotP.
3. The separate "Saber" component is mandatory because of his transformation, I don't think they could really CW Ultra Magnus it. May as well have it transform.

Still, I'd prefer he be Commander-size for show scale. It'd make for a better base mode too.

A Star Saber and Victory Leo 2 pack would make for a great TITAN set. Both figures would be commander class, and both figures would have all the options of the originals plus modern engineering that would allow posing in all modes. Victory Leo would be the same size and weight as Devastator or Predaking. It could be the best titan after Scorponok.

Btw since I just wrote a big ramble about the potential engineering/design issues with Rodimus as a potential ER (or beyond) figure, here is one weird thing I'd like which I bet nobody else would: Rodimus Prime with either a more toy accurate head sculpt and/or a Marvel colored magenta Hot Rod. Because damn it, I wish I had better ways to tell them apart.

While we're at it, toy head Rodimus redecoed into Lucky Draw Primus. Maybe not with golden paint but still all yellowy-orange.

Here's a rather random one, that has virtually no chance because it might be up against physics/engineering in addition to pretty much not existing in transformers at all yet and would require a new character.

I want a leader CW compatible torso mold that is basically a voyager torso stretched out a bit vertically so that would could attach 4 arm bots instead of 2. I want a 4 armed combiner. I'm just not sure of the leg bot combiner pegs could handle the additional weight of 2 more deluxes and the torso going from voyager to leader.

A Deluxe version of Cyberverse Cheetor. Possibly with the Allspark instead of a build-a-fig piece. His spark armor figure leaves a lot to be desired; among other things, it's WAY off from how he looked on the show.

That's a custom I could make.

My thoughts always seem to turn to redecos, these days. While I am redecorating, I was recently moving the City Bot boxes around and I looked at the art on Trypticons'.

Image

I'm thinking either of these, with a minor retool (snip the tail & toes) and redeco, could give a decent Bot sized figure for the Titan.

HELL yes to this. In fact, I already have a list of Cyberverse figs that need Deluxes:

Standout characters who need Deluxe Class toys:
Soundwave
Wild Wheel
Shadow Striker
Dead End
Windblade
Whirl
Cheetor
Perceptor

I think Starscream and Slipstream also have a place on that list.

And Wheeljack deserves SOMETHING past the Scout and One-Step figures.

...But I feel like "Cyberverse characters we want better toys of" could be a whole thread in itself.

that's pretty much the Cyberverse toyline thread in a nutshell: a few sort of gems, but overall, EVERYONE needed a better toy.
