Wal-Marts in Canada have started stocking Wave 3 Transformers Robots In Disguise! We have some shots of Warrior Class Jazz & Sideswipe, and 1-Step Ninja Sideswipe & Night Ops Bumblebee sitting on pegs. Coincidentally, ToysRus is having a sale right now (20% off $29.99 and lower, June 19-25) so start hunting and take advantage of that and Wal-Mart's price matching policy. Naw. Price matching is great and all, but only works while the sale is active. You've no idea how many times I've found something I cold have price matched the day before :-x

If you want overpriced Platinums that even on sale, are still overpriced, you're in luck.

TrU Canada have the insecticon pack at 90$ and the Butterscotch Optimus at "only" 180$.

Also, MP Bluestreak was found in Laval, Quebec! A MP IN QUEBEC!... At moddafokking 90$.

Now that MPs and Platinums are finally in Quebec, they are all overpiced as fok.

Transformers Robots in Disguise TRU Exclusive 5 Step Megatronus Revealed

Plot twist! Courtesy of the Australian Toys'R'Us stores website, we have a reveal of an additional figure for Transformers: Robots in Disguise Megatronus - and it's apparently a five-step changer, under the monicker of Mega 5 Step, too, for AUS$59.99 and a TRU exclusive.

But the even bigger news, for those following the animated series, comes from the bio reported on the listing for the toy. You have been warned about the spoilers contained after the images below!

Autobots beware, because Megatron is back and he's a whole lot scarier as Megatronus! This upgraded Decepticon leader has a double-bladed axe in robot mode for hardcore hand-to-hand combat. He converts from robot mode to tank mode in just 5 steps. Your Transformers clashes will never be the same once your Megatronus figure is on the hunt! Ages 6 and up

Actually it said on the show that this isn't Megatron upgraded! but one of the Primes gone rogue(a bit like The Fallen did...in ROTF)

nice figure...but I'll wait for the Warrior Class version

I watched all the episodes on line, and there will be a surprise in the last 2 episodes.
The toy is not bad, I might get it.

Sheesh, they have gotten something terribly wrong here... We already saw Megatronus on the show, he is one of the 13 Primes (basically the Fallen), he is NOT Megatron. Someone at hasbro did not get the memo.

Dissapointed if this is the best toy he has. Looks rather terrible. We need a proper Leader not these 1/3/5-step changers.

Technically it is The Fallen. Megatronus Prime is what the Fallen was called before he turned

Okay, other then that new Megatronus and some more of the tiny titan things, have we actually seen anything new for RID at botcon? I am really, really surprised Hasbro "revealed" about 90% of what we already have seen (G1 deco Grimlock? Didn't we first see that last month?). The minicons? Already debuted at toyfair I believe. This year's botcon reveals outside of the CW line has been way below par.

Easy. Go there:
the-official-transformers-robots-in-disguise-animated-series-thread-t100652s1200.php#p1665091

Start at around page one and look around for Sabrblade's posts. From times to times, he give a link to an episode saved on dailymotion.

Enjoy!

The bio's a mess, but the figure itself doesn't look half bad.

Here's another thing I would love (maybe not a product as of yet! but definitely would love it to be) y'know that computer search thingy that Fixit does? The Pokedex style thing! where he searches for Transformers as it flickers through hundreds of silouetted figures until he finds the one the team have came across. Well pity this feature isn't an app for Android or iPhone, as it would be pretty neat, & it would come with all the sound fx & music(used during those computer search scenes). I know the Android videogame has something like it....when you scan those symbols on the toys, but I would still like to see a sort of Transformersdex(like the pokemon one) app on Google Market

Do we know how large that Megatronus is? He looks like he might make a nice opponent for that GINORMOUS Optimus Takara is making.

Dunno? All I know is that he's a large 5 step.

If I had to guess...probably Leader Class or maybe bigger.

knowing me...he may turn out to be Voyager sized

as cool as Megatronus looks...I'm still sold on the more detailed or at least better transformation Warrior Class(I'm sure they'll be one eventually) but that 5 Step just looks as if it kinda partly folds over on itself & lays down(tank mode)

Okay, I looked at those ports on him (which are most likely 5mm), resized the image appropriately and, yeah. Around 12 inches. PERFECT.

You can thank BotCon being so close to SDCC these days for that. When they hold Botcon in early spring (April) or later summer (September) we seem to get more out of it. The last three BotCon's have been just a couple weeks before SDCC (July 8-12) which means Hasbro has to spread stuff out more between the two cons. April is really the best time for BotCon since it's far enough from Toy Fair in February and SDCC to show some good stuff, though September is also nice since it fills the long void from SDCC to Toy Fair (since they don't show very much at NYCC).

I'm guessing that at SDCC we'll be seeing the Titan Wars stuff they teased us with at BotCon. Who knows, maybe they'll even have something to say about MP Optimus Primal since that's such an American Transformers character.

The bio is wrong. spoilers... Megatronus is one of the 13 primes not the megatron from prime tas. That megatron became peaceful at the end of it.

He's listed on the box as a Mega so he'll be 11 inches like Mega Optimus Prime most likely. Might be a little too short.
