I'm surprised no ones mentioned how Blades has his own name written on his chest, TWICE.

G2 Prototype Defensor Uncovered Gallery Part 4 Streetwise

It seems that yesterday z75sales was pressed for time and wasn't able to put up Part 4, but here he is now: Streetwise! The Autobot cop may have been a tad envious of Sideswipes G2 deco, and opted for black instead of his traditional white. And while its not very 90's extreme, it does turn out rather handsome. Except for Groove, so far the Protectobots are the best looking G2 toys ever.

Wait until you see Hot Spot.

I really like this coloring, even if he's got pink. Business up front party in the back?

Can't wait to see the combined. These images are something some of us have waited for for a long time!

I'm suprised this doesn't get more attention on the board.

G2 is either an acquired taste, or you had to be a 90's kid to appreciate all the neon wackiness :P

I always like G2 colors, but I'll never understand the decision to print their faction name and/or character name on the figures. :BANG_HEAD: For me, it ruins the aesthetics of most of them.

Kids these days, with their fancy 'knees' and 'regular colors'.

It's cool to see them in this detail, and I'm certainly clicking and viewing and taking them in. That said, after all this time I'm not sure what else there is to say about them that hasn't already been said outside of things like holy crap, First Aid would have been another GPS bot.

Time for some more unreleased G2 goodness with z75sales, tonight's feature being Hotspot! The red is actually quite fitting for a fire truck, but comes full circle with the wonderful 90's neon orange. If you missed the previous galleries you'll find them right here:
Part 1 (First Aid)
Part 2 (Blades)
Part 3 (Groove)
Part 4 (Streetwise)
There's only one thing left to after this: unite! But until then see part 5 below, and stay tuned to Seibertron.com: home for the best Galleries and Conversation around!

I had never seen full pictures of G2 Hot Spot before this, I never knew what his colour layout looked like... I like it! Kinda want Combiner Wars to do one.

I would be so sad if CW didn't offer G2 deco's. Even as exclusives I'd buy them.

Usually I'm all about G2, but the teal and orange is very... strange. Makes them look unfinished or too random or something.

Well they are prototypes; I would be down for any and all G2 repaints; :KREMZEEK:

My girlfriend had to say this about G2 Hotspot: 'You could own a turd from John Lennon, it may be a rare thing, but it's still ugly and disturbing'.

I think it would be printing money, especially if they decided to do a platinum or re-issue of the originals with the club or something. It would be amazing if they did something.

I actually think Hot Spot doesn't look horrible. From brief odd pictures we'd barely seen around I thought it would be worse. I don't hate it, but it is G2 odd for sure.

At least this is a total redeco. Operation: Combination Fire Chief still had parts cast in the original light blue of G1 Hot Spot:

The orange and red do go together, but the teal chest sticks out like a sore thumb. Worse, there are no other part cast or painted in the same color to offset it. But that's G2 for you :)

G2 combiners would be printing money if they were CW or original reissues. For the life of me I don't know why they haven't tried reissues yet. Seriously, IMAGINE people clamoring over an official release of the real G2 Menasor and Defensor. :michaelbay:

You know if you take a step back and look at the situation, it's truly surprising that one of the largest toy companies in the world released toys in these colors
