These look nice, and I am very glad to see the games getting some new love. I really hope this leads to FOC leader Dinobots. If it does, I'll sell my SS86 ones in a heartbeat.

As for the moderator side of things, I am going to send some messages, I am starting to think now that we have 3 SS numbering systems within the line and they will inevitably share case assortments with all 3 present, we should integrate all into 1 thread, but I will be gauging some thoughts.

The threads for each subline should be kept separate for clarity's sake.

The more is see the Optimus figure the more I like it.

I think out of all the toys that could’ve gotten those battle damage paint effects like Siege, these ones should’ve been it. Definitely going to be getting Barricade, this is my favorite version of the character.

I definitely understand having them all together, but G1-centric discussion tends to move much faster than movie-centric toy discussion over here, so I think movie discussion would get drowned out if the subline discussions were all together.

We initially split things because there was some discord between live action fans and G1 fans in the Studio Series forum and this seemed to be the solution people wanted. I think it's fair to separate conversations as many times as Hasbro restarts the count at 1.

Not only that but we deal with 3 different styles and universes. Who care about "toxic fans", the more important is to "stay on topic" and avoid any confusions.

BTW, that Optimus look much simpler than the OG deluxe but they had to make sure to give upgrade kits makers more money with those HUGE gaps in the inner thighs (and probably elsewhere too.)

As for that Bee, he looks way less pannely than the OG deluxe so he too, may be simpler to transform. I'll get both Optimus and Bee for sure.

But Barricade? Dafuk am looking at? A SHOE?

Barricade reminds me of a square bat mobile. Inset cockpit, flat nose, large rear engine and spoiler

They all look so fantastic, I'm really excited to get more WfC/FoC toys, and I'm so glad ol' Barricade here finally got a proper figure that wasn't just a Kreon or a redeco of someone else.
I hope this means we'll get a proper Sideswipe too, with a chest that actually tabs in!

Does this means that FOC Bruticus have a chance to be PROPERLY done? With a LEADER Onslaught and (voyager?) limbs that doesn't suck? :-?

Soooo, how do the integrating weapons work? Based on the pics, it almost looks like you have to take the forearm off... which is odd.

I'm curious if we'll see a Fall of Cybertron repaint/ hopefully retool of Bee with a gold deco and Neutron Assault Rifle in the line sometime in the future

Seems like you plop the arm off to put the gun on, mostly to replicate the original game having the whole arm transform into the weapon. It's likely done this way instead of relying on a "glove" type accessory so that it can be used interchangeably with other WfC/FoC figures.

It'd be great if this means they're re-releasing the games. The older disc-media console versions aren't backwards compatible with current gen consoles and the digital versions (including the remasters) aren't available to purchase digitally because of a rights issue.

Would love to play them again with some modern computing power behind them.

I bet the spare arm then plug in the BOT's ASS.
Literally.
Like they did for many SS Bee figures.

I think it'll likely end up on the back, but judging by stuff like Prime's wheels and Barricade's pointy bits, it could end up storing lower!

Absolutely fantastic. :APPLAUSE:

Hopefully with Studio Series featuring the videogames, we can get characters from the Transformers movie games.

Shoot. WFC/FOC is ripe with army building.

I am excited.

So you can pop the arms off at the elbow to place the weapon there? That's such a simple and effective solution to mimic the in-game appearance!

I wonder if the guns can also be held normally for those who might not like that aesthetic?

It seems like that might not be an option judging by the squared pegs used to store the weapons, but I could be totally wrong!

Seems like the vehicle mode was prioritised, understandable I guess!
Probably a tough challenge with a bulbous, round car mode to turn into a fairly angular robot mode.

This is amazing news guys!

I love the 2 games, played War for Cybertron 1 Escalation to death, was almost in the top 100 worldwide!
I love the gameplay, the story, the characters were fun as hell. The designs cool and very fresh.

Man I hope they make more, would love to see Slipstream, Arcee, Zeta Prime, Warpath and more. For all I care they can just slightly remold Siege Ironhide/Ratchet for the game mode, or the movie version already looks like it.

And man I hope they remaster the 2 games and put up Escalation again (the servers are all down :().

Maybe remake Bruticus, the first attempt was for it's time okay, I have the SDCC set and the G2 repaint set. But with modern technique it can be done a hell of a lot better.

And I would love to see the generic enemy bots. That's why I love they made Barricade with Barrier and Shockwave, played as that guy a ton!

They don't need to redo the Seekers, or just re-release them or upscale them to voyager to keep things in budget to make new characters possible. Same goes for Soundwave/Shockwave, they don't need to take away from new characters.

@noctorro

I understand what you're asking but there is zero chance they won't do Starscream, Soundwave & Shockwave that's literally 3 of the top 4 Decepticons

They're most definitely going to remake Screamer/Shocky/Soundy. I'm not complaining about them being redone anyway, the old toys aren't terrible but an update would be much appreciated. Considering they opened up with Barricade who didn't even have a proper toy previously, I'm pretty sure they're gonna do ones for new characters too!

I guess you're right @Coptur and @SpaceEagle

Just thinking business/budget wise. The seekers are pretty good, Soundwave needs some work and Shockwave a little bulking but is also pretty good.

But they are the main badguy cast indeed. Just hope they don't skip my girl Slipstream and my boys Scattershot, Warpath and Demolishor (he looks good in the game).

. ... Leader class Omega Supreme / Trypticon (because Titan would be rediculous since we already have them)
