I admit I would rather have new molds, but this isn't that bad. Besides, I never got the Energon one. Furthermore, I hope they repaint and rerelease the Superion from energon. And you have to admit this is a nice way to pad out the Decepticon forces for the classics. I don't know about anyone else, but I include my new Soundwave and Predaking in my classics Decepticon line to make them greater in number.

I will get him if I can find him for a decent enough price this side of the pond. Especilly since I dont have any of the Energon combiners.

I would much rather have a highly-detailed, highly-articulated highly-original-toy-accurate non-separating non-transforming Devastator figure than this steaming smegpile. I'll just stick to my G1 KOs, thank you very much.

sparkofchaos wrote:new mold = more investment, repaint = much cheaper, some leftover production = even more reason for repaint, lack of new mold = less people buying but still plenty enough purchases to earn money, lesson for Hasbro = might be a good strategy to every now and then save the good or less hideous colors for repaints when sales are difficult to predict, problem for tfans = lack of new molds despite possibly better colors, concern for perfectionists = this is unacceptable, celebration for hardcore collectors = finally the right colors or does it matter?

The main point is that it's an EXCLUSIVE (in this case to Wal*Mart), and exclusives have always been repaints thus far. Somehow they always forget...

He met a floosy fembot that forced the idea that he didn't need the group to get by and should pursue a solo career, so he did.

I don't have any of the Energon combiners either so I hope to someday soon own Devastator from Classics and Superion from Energon. Though how kick ass would it be if they did a Classics Predaking?

Although these are partially considered Energon, I'm gonna pick 'em up. Only Energon figures I had were Megatron, Prime, & Bulkhead. They were okey. But I can accept the Energon Constructicons as Classics Constructicons. At least they're all the same color scheme, which pleases me to some extent. Maybe the Energon Aerialbots & Comabticons should get this treatment...........I dunno.

Everytime I try to win an ebay auction for the complete constructicons in good to MISP shape, G1 or G2 I get wiped out by someone with more money to burn.

So quite frankly I welcome this box set and will definitely pick it up if anything else to bolster my classics decepticons.

The person i was looking through earlier had them in good condition, both Devastators from G1 and Energon as well as Bruticus Maximus and I think they were buy now or best offer, if I do find the seller I'll send ya a PM.

honestly, i really don't see what you people like in this mold.
it's horrible
it was horrible in energon and it still looks horrible.

i know designing new molds is expensive.....but c'mon.
these molds are horrible.

nothing about these molds screams devastator to me.

i'll just leave it for the people who have got their jollies off of this figs.
