I want it. Know why? Because I like Smokescreen.

I'm barely a fan of the Knockout mold as it is.

They took the worst mold in the line and made it even worse!
Putting Knock Out below Airachnid? Oooh!
Don't like Airachnid either, but at least I can stand to look at her without wanting to barf!
*looks at KO*
http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radicons-customs/593388-knock-out-show-accurate-complete.htmlYou're talking about this mold, right?
This beautiful sonuvabitch? I mean, those paint touch ups aren't even that intensive. Just a few small paint apps and it goes from nice to AMAZING.
Airachnid is worthless garbage in any color scheme.
That repaint is nice, I know longer wanted to barf, until the original showed up. But I really hate that mold, so while the paint looks nice, I really can't bring myself to like it.
I do agree that Airachnid can't be fixed with paint, I also feel the same way about KO.

But you just can't put Knock Out below Airachnid. At least Knock Out has decent articulation, good hands, and an in-show accessory. Airachnid lacks all of that.

Pure laziness. This mold doesn't even resemble Smokescreen. Sticking a spoiler on does not make the robot mode look right.

What's this?
Blasting the cons with his 'exhaust fumes'?

According to Google Translate, two images before it have Smokescreen attempting to do a flip in the air. This image is meant to show him accidentally landing on his head after failing to nail the flip, Looney Tunes style.

That's a good idea. Put his stickers and head on Knockout, repaint the head blue with gold and you've got yourself G1-colored Smokescreen!

Ugh. Two of the coolest looking characters have to share this crappy mold, and are poorly decorated on top of it. For shame.

I'm doing a lot more than that. I'm using an FE Bumblebee's arms and legs on a Knockout body along with the door wings from a PRiD Bumblebee on his back. Once he has Smokescreen's head and stickers, all he'll need is some paint and he'll look pretty close to the show model for Smokescreen
.

With Bee's parts, that would be impossible. With
new parts (if engineered correctly), it might just happen.

No, of course not. In fact, I suspect that's why we're getting a repaint instead of a new mold (and I do believe that for their own deluxe, Hasbro will do exactly what Takara did in repainting Knockout). I just can't see how they can get the transformation to work from that car mode into that bot mode unless they do some very tricky engineering (but who knows?).

My Smokescreen arrived yesterday. I've not seen any of the episodes with him appearing, so I'm not familiar with how he looks in the show.
I really like the Knockout mold, and am not disappointed with SScreen at all.
I'd say he's not as Grey/Silver as he looks in pics. With a head swap and the '38' stickers taken off he would make a nice Jazz.

Looks like Takara has some pervs in their midst eh? Look at them sending out naked-ass TFs like Smokescreen here disgustin'!
But anyway after picking up my share of AM figs despite the bad in this it is no worse than Airachnid. I don't have her to know first hand but have seen plenty of video reviews to know it's a Crap-former...'nuff said!

Well, that's a piece of crap. I like the Knockout mold. Smokescreen... is NOT Knockout. This is barely a prototype.

Saaaaay whaaaaat?
Is this a non-permanent modification? If so it's a satisfactory cheat could bring it from a yay to a nay.

Just stick the Micron on his back and you're good to go.

If I'm not mistaken it's simply his Micron S.2 attached to his back.
