Then how can you say that they're not G1 if you know nothing about them?
Look at this picture and tell me what you would classify it as:
shockblast2 wrote:Do you have any of these? And if so, why do you think they fit in your geewun classics collection?
I own the following:
Energon Classics Devastator
Energon ROTF Superion
Generations WFC Soundwave (both the deluxe or the voyager from 2012)
Generations FOC Shockwave
HFTD Seaspray
But, I don't have them in what I would consider a "Classics collection" since, for a long time, I made the idiotic mistake of intentionally avoiding many of the Classics (or "CHUG") molds. The few ones I have managed to pick up, as well as the above ones, were mostly bought because I either liked the mold or the character the represented. "Classics"/"CHUG" is something I frankly haven't really collected since I turned my focus more towards the Movieverse and Animated toys.
So, yeah, I missed out on a lot of cool toys.
Though, for Soundwave and Shockwave specifically, I've got those in a WFC/FOC collection.

Then, what about Dreamwave's comics from 2002-2004? Or, do you not know about those either?
shockblast2 wrote:I mean, are you a geewun racist or something?
On the contrary. I grew up on the Beast Era and it still remains my favorite era of Transformers to this day.
In fact, my top 5 favorite TF cartoon series are as follows:
- 1 - Beast Wars
- 2 - Animated
- 3 - Tie: ChÅjin Masterforce and Rescue Bots
- 4 - Tie: Beast Machines, Robots in Disguise, and Prime
- 5 - Cybertron
But, I also have to ask you this. If there are series (like some comic series) that you don't know about, how can you say what they are or aren't without knowing about them?
shockblast2 wrote:What about G2? Why can't IDW be G2 in your eyes? By your measure it could be????
Oh, there most certainly are some aspects of G2 in the IDW comics. But they're far and few compared to their G1 elements. Not to mention that G2 as a franchise is a subset with the greater G1 continuity family, thus anything G2 is automatically also G1, just a specific portion of it. Same with the Beast Era; it too is a subsection of the G1 continuity family, or "Primax", as it is also known as.
Thus, IDW's comics from 2005 to today are Primax comics, while WFC/FOC is Aligned.
shockblast2 wrote:Sorry missed one q. Any pre-2010 IDW is assimilated because the title was created after the book started, but made offical by Hasbro, making it canon. Just like they did with geewun when G2 came along.
Can you provide a link to any official outlet declaring that all that IDW created before 2010 automatically became one with the Aligned continuity?
Because, if not, then you'll have to explain why IDW has been largely ignoring the Aligned Continuity fiction by contradicting it and writing stories that go against Hasbro's vision for the Aligned Continuity.
