Damn, I know recent TFs are riddled with hollow plastic, but these shoulder missiles look kinda bad.

Would have liked to see more color on the thighs or forearms, but I'm still digging this dude.

I wonder if Magnus's shoulder towers can point forward as cannons like in the comics. Even if they can't I think this figure is damn near perfect.

At least its not his legs or arms this time, I can live with hollow shoulder missiles.

Didn't realize Some of the fingers had articulation.

This figure is just getting better with each newer pic.

Seems like the Leader class Ultra Magnus might have more articulation than the recent Masterpiece toy version.

My single complaint is the height of the shoulders. Way too tall.

Think the Face of Leader class Ultra Magnus looks smushed in and distorted as a result.

I think you may be able to increase the "bicep" area much like the G1 toy, if these earlier pictures are any indication. It may be a compromise between shoulder pylon height and bicep/shoulder swivel visibility...

Also, another thought occurred to me... I wonder where the previously mentioned "firing projectile" factors in? Is it possible that the shoulder pylons might contain firing missiles? I do not see the shoulder missiles firing with all that hollow space...

And is this Magnus 1 piece or is there a white Prime inside the armor?

Like the Masterpiece figure, it's not white Optimus in armor. What we see is what we get, I'm afraid.

In saying that... I want this guy. Would like to see a Leader-class Overlord grapple with him, though!

That's not entirely accurate. Dominus Ambus is inside the armor.

This might seem nit-picky, but WHY can't Hasbro get the Autobot and Decepticon faction shields correct? The Bay-verse faction shields should NEVER be on anything that isn't a movie toy. They mix and match them all the time. We should only see ANGRY autobot eyes on crappy Bayverse toys.

I'm paying a small fortune at reprolables to correct this incessant issue.

Looks really great, he definitely represents his MTMTE appearance well. Makes me wish even more that we had a voyager rodimus to scale with this guy and the rest of the lost light.
