And like all Studio Series, it's licensed. Helicopter Mode Dropkick is a Bell AH-1 SuperCobra.

Just thought I’d point out; The KSI sentry is modeled after the Chevrolet Trax KSI robots, which also happen to look like stinger. Most of the Trax’s shown (such as the ones charging hound) were red, but there were ones of all colours (including blue) in the movie, so Hasbro just didn’t want a another red stinger with just a headswap.

Just curious, how do we know that? Is it the headsculpt? And how do we know their name?

Incorrect, I saw the latter half of the movie again on tv a bit ago and all the Traxes were red, black, silver, and white, not a single blue Trax to be found. I commented on it already in this thread.

Dropkick looks great though, and I need him if for no other reason than his Jolly Roger decals.

Yes, it's the head sculpt, though that's the only thing the two have in common.

But the name is unofficial, fans just attached the name to the character because of his/its alt mode and an interview that referred to the KSI Sentries as "Traxes" (which is the model of the car).

My mistake, I could have sworn that there was at least one blue one in the scene with numerous trax’s in vehicle mode “ready for KSI to ship.” That blue looks like the blue they use on the real trac so meh

But yeah, IMO their bodies are preeeeeeety close to stinger’s body type so I see why Hasbro did it, but I would have loved a little Chevy trax to go with my Aveo Swerve. Oh well, more Paginis!

The Twins. 'Nuff said. *hides*

Studio Series being "nothing but the cast" pretty much went out the window with Thundercracker. "Cast and extras, the latter in any color" would be more apt.

Yeah but they’re a preproduction Trax and Spark  plus I was so put off by their robot designs I kinda ignored them when they were on the pegs. (Didn’t have a lot of cash for toys when ROTF was around either)

As a car guy I really wish for an alternators revivals with modern engineering. Human Alliance was great.

You forgot the Beat ;) And me thinks they're following a "one robot form per model" to cut re-engineering costs. Can anyone put a Stinger in a Trax body effectively?

I loved Alternators and Binaltech. Got even me into cars a little bit.

Is that also a witty pun to in reference to a famous chevolet alt mode sporting TF character? That ends up giving being a fun coincidence that this traxes is blue

Just as a PSA I've checked out some of the "sellers" on eBay selling Dropkick. It seems like one guy or group using multiple accounts and some of them have negative feedback from the last where people got empty boxes in the mail. I've tried emailing them for more info and haven't heard back.

He's actually been up for a bit, but curiously Jazz has been absent. Weird when they are casemates.

Jazz, Megs, and Brawl are the last SS figures for me till VW Bee in wave 3 and then Dropkick and tattooed Screamer in wave 4. And I am content with waiting and finding them, trying to space out TF purchases and I like finding them in stores more.

Dropkick does look fun though, I like the movie original characters/names, even if there are other figures sharing the name but there are like 2 or 3 of them.

Also still waiting on a Bonecrusher, really want that guy.

At least TFWiki is trying to say the original Dropkick figure from the first movie is the same character as the Dropkick from the Bee movie. We'll have to see if that thread still works out by the end of the movie. They do have some slight similarities in their head designs.

Any other listings for Studio Series figures other than the ones revealed so far? Kinda mixed up about what are speculation or actual listings so far.

Edit: Oh, and I got Jazz! He's adorbs. Just wishing there was a way to remove the backpack. ):

I managed to get a bunch of Studio Series toys at this year's TFNation, so here's a quick summary of my thoughts on each:

Blackout - Both modes are great, though while the transformation isn't that complex, the worst bit is all the little panels that refuse to clip together. It reminds me of Revenge of the Fallen Leader Jetfire in that regard.
Megatron - Not too shabby, I like it a lot more than the Last Knight Voyager. The grey parts on the back of his shins have a tendency to pop off while I'm handling him, but otherwise it's a good solid figure.
Ironhide - Easily the best Voyager Movie Ironhide yet, he's fantastic! The only issue I have is he doesn't scale very well with the other Studio Series Autobots in either mode, particularly Optimus and Ratchet. That's not a fault of the figure's per se, it just makes me wish Ratchet was a Voyager and Optimus was a little bit larger.
Jazz - I can totally see why people are unhappy with Jazz's size, but I think he looks just fine and is a massive improvement over the 2007 Deluxe. The car doors don't stay clipped together in on my Jazz though, but I'm not sure if that's just me doing something wrong.
Lockdown - Nothing really special about this figure, he's not incredible, but he's not bad either. Much, much better than the Age of Extinction Deluxe.

Look on the underside of his car roof. You will see a peg. This plugs into a port on the back of his, well, his butt. It doesn't perfectly line up during transformation and needs a little force to work right. It should solve your issue.
