It can be done while attached in planet mode. I think you just need to move his horns downward, similar to Armada Unicron. I would just detach it to make sure that the head doesn't somehow detach inside and damage his face plate(s).

I haven't gone into the gallery yet as I have an exam on diabetes and pediatric and adult GI issues that I'm studying for, but I REALLY REALLY home there is a picture in there with the SWTF Death Star since you made that comment...

I wonder how Prime Unicron looks like as a head for this guy. Looks almost in proportion.

Seeing all these pics makes me really excited to get mine in the mail!

I hope earlier criticisms don't hide the fact that I'm still glad I decided to get this guy. Grey maw, misleading interview, and all those other gripes aside, this guy looks incredible. And the pics really put how large this guy is next to other titans to rest.

It seems almost a shame to post some of these pictures with TR Galvatron instead of the upcoming Studio version. He looks so out of place with everyone else.

Welp, I guess I’m now ready to go pay some ridiculous aftermarket prices for this guy. Do I regret not purchasing him during the crowdfund? Nope, cause I literally couldn’t at the time. But now, I can and I will. Pray for my wife’s blessing! I’m off to eBay!

Good luck with that. There's one going for 860 bucks which seems reasonable.

There's also one going for $10,000 bucks which is just insane.

Every other offer is somewhere within the $1200 to $2500 range. So twice to 4 times its original price.

Remember When Toys Were Fun? Hasbro's $575 Unicron Figure Takes Almost an Entire Hour to Transform....that was the headline on Gizmodo which made me laugh a bit. Does anyone got transformation down in less that time?

Sorry for not doing better showing the actual headline from the website, I'm just not so savvy.

According to the timestamps of the photos I took while transforming Unicron, I started at 4:49pm and finished at 6:04pm. Mind you, I took 72 photos of the process and got stumped a couple of times when the instructions didn't make sense to me. I think I did pretty good. That was basically a photo per minute during the transformation process, so not bad. I'm assuming I could do it in about 30 minutes now that I'm familiar with it. He's actually very straightforward once you "learn" his transformation.

My FedEX account notified me yesterday afternoon. I got my email from Pulse about 3 hours later.

Friday eta.

All I wanted from the beginning was to keep apprised of what was going down.

Could have been out of a job? Lots of stimulus checks? Received an inheritance? Who knows. Maybe just missed out or wasn't aware and now wants it. I can think of lots of reasons, same with any of us who miss something when it first comes out and then has to pay extra later.
