I saw 3 Aerialbots and Dragstrip at Walmart today. Why is Dragstrip featured as Superion's arm on the back panel?

The fifth ariealbot is out with wave 2 along side the rest of the Stunticons. There's been a few theories as to why ranging from making the shelves look a little more diverse to forcing people to play with the scramble city aspect

Thanks. I am actually considering buying these. They look pretty good. Firefly especially.

Here's an idea: try suing Hasbro for false advertisement, especially if wave 2 never reaches your area

I would assume he works there. If you look back at his twitter feed he attended SDCC so he's at least in the right part of the country. Plus whenever I order from them (and I do a lot) my order will be processing for 2 days, then ship, THEN it goes live on the site.

I'd assume they got them in friday, he grabbed his early, and they'll start shipping orders monday or tuesday.

If nothing else he pre-ordered early with nothing else in the order (I have the blackjack legends in with mine and it arrived quick due to his location.

I was serious, though. Is Dragstrip on the back of the Aerialbots' packaging simply because he also comes in wave 1?

Yup. Notice how cross-sells never picture figures in later waves, only the ones in the current one or earlier? I'm surprised nobody sued Hasbro over the Movie Trilogy Deluxes not being available, despite evidence pointing in the direction they should be as they were featured in Movie Trilogy Optimus Prime's box. That's False Advertising.

Did you see the discussion about Prime's pegs breaking Thundercracker's hands? The seekers apparently won't fit in the chest cavity well. So, if you eventually try Skywarp, I recommend caution.

This is also speculation, but is based off of a retailer I know much better than EE, BBTS. Sometimes BBTS gets in smaller air shipments of product, with the rest coming in, literally, on the slow boat from China. BBTS will then fill out the early pre-orders. The site will still show the product in pre-order because the air shipment arrived and fully sold out, but the rest of the shipment is on its way via oceanic freighter and has not sold out. That would be my guess here, but I don't have any confirmation...

Isn't that the fault of the retailers and not the manufacturer? [edit] Or did Hasbro never release the figures?
[Edit2] Aha, thanks TFwiki! It looks like, while Hasbro did not release them, it was because of poor response from retailers and consumers. Tough to hold Hasbro responsible for that, unless it's the quality of the product. We consumers can be a fickle lot...

They were never released period (though Movie Advanced series Soundwave, Ratchet and Wheeljack are based on those figures), and I don't think they were officially declared canceled either.

You beat me to my edit above. According to TFwiki, the line was indeed cancelled before "wave 7" which would have included the ones you mentioned plus Nitro Bumblebee, as well as Evac, that Universal Studios Ride exclusive toy.

Looks MUCH better than official images led us to believe, especially Menasor's noggin. Though Menasor's upper legs still look dorky, there are ways to fix it.

Speaking of: Blackjack's axe of doom/chestplate looks awful lot like the original Menasor's sword hilt... Do we know if the axe can attach to his sword? It just looks so dorky plomped on his chest and a handle sticking out...

He looks less wide here than on the proto pictures, but that head.....*shudders*.

I am also waiting for Takara, hopefully they will give him an accurate head that doesn't make him look like a pissed off viking.

Takara ain't giving this thing a new head, guys. They don't do that to Hasbro's Generations molds.

Don't get why everyone's having a fit over his head. Is it just that it's not G1 enough? To me, it looks freakin cool. Not a big fan of the open chest, however, I do wish that he looks better with it closed.

I really do like these things a lot, and they really have a look of decent quality. However, when you add the cost up, a combiner is going to be seriously costly. I wish they were a little more within the reach of people with less funds.

New Official Photos of Transformers Generations Combiner Wars Leader Class Thundercracker

Courtesy of Hasbro Canada, we bring you new official photo's of Combiner Wars Leader Class Thundercracker! Most notably, in-box shots! This heavy Generations Jetfire retool comes from art inspired from IDW artist Guido Guidi. The images don't really show us much too new, but we get a look at the box and character card included with the figure.

Check out the pics and stay tuned to Seibertron.com for your Transformers News (and great discussion at the Pub)!

Thundercracker lives on fear. Special materials in his jet frame allow him to unleash controlled sonic detonations that can be heard 200 miles away. Streaking across the sky at Mach 6, he wants his enemies to hear him before they see him. He wants them to know he's coming, and cower in fear at their impending doom.
The war between Autobot and Decepticon rages on, and with Thundercracker in the fight, the action gets more intense all the time! This awesome Thundercracker figure is a massive force for evil in robot mode with an enormous arsenal of blasters and other weapons. But when it’s time for an airborne assault, he converts to a supercharged jet! Get ready for a whole new generation of Transformers mayhem with this incredible Thundercracker figure!

I do like that you have the option on Ultra Prime and Menasor to open or close the chest piece so you can decide how they look. On UP I'll keep it closed while Menasor will have it open with Blackjack in there.

Unless I find a big Matrix or something to cram in Primes chest.

Does anyone remember the display pics they had a while back that showed Thundercracker and Bombshell attached to Ultra Prime's chest? How'd they do it?

Yeah don't do this. All you'll accomplish is breaking Thundercrackers hands. I've seen a few people who've done this to Starscream and Thundercracker.

Thanks. I definitely don't want to do that. Are the chest pegs the problem?

Yes. They're just a tad too big to fit into the hands on the Legend Seekers. Also I think Thundercracker's hands are made of a just thinner plastic than Starscream's
