Damn.

THIS is what the ER deluxe should have been. Plus they didn't skimp on paint either.
This may be one of my top-10 deluxes of 2021!
 :APPLAUSE:

Where did you get deluxe prowl again? I don't think I ever found him at retail.

Amazon.ca

I was supposed to get Starscream for 16$CAN, but they sent Prowl by mistake. :-D
Add the 5$ Prime cashback and he was 11$! (I cancelled my free Prime trial 1 day before the auto-renewal.)

He's still available but at the full 30$CAN.
You should get it while you still can.

Oh... It's gone now.

At least the 16$ Starscream is still available: https://www.amazon.ca/-/fr/Hasbro-TRA-C ... 82&sr=1-81

Not for nothing, that doesn't look like a Warrior Class figure. I can't think of one that came with a separate weapon accessory, they're usually built-in as part of a gimmick.

Could be a slight re-jig for the class given it is part of s soft reset for the line.

Writing an article right now and that is EXACTLY what that is.

Here are the Cyberverse Toys that you will see on your Shelves Soon

The Cyberverse Transformers line is having a soft reset with a name change so that retailers can know what product is new and should go on the shelves. A lot of this line is made up of figures we have already seen though. Unlike what some fans think, none of these toys are figures from old packages remove and placed in new packaging since Hasbro does not take back toys from retailers (retailers instead sell their unsold stock to market six stores). These are all newly made figures to ensure that the popular characters are on the shelves when the Cyberverse Netflix movies come out later this year. You will see repacks in all lines such as the scout, deluxe and one step line. Of the new characters, we have ultra class Sludge and warrior class Dead End. Dead End is rather interesting since he is the first warrior class figure to have a weapon that is detached from himself. The repackaged deluxes show the new packaging initiatives done by Hasbro to reduce plastic and they give us some pretty kick ass art. Oddly enough, they still come with the Macadam BAF piece. There are also the Dinobot combining figures and you can see the three that we know of so far including the newly found Grimlock/Wheeljack combiner.

These figures were all found on the Brandora website.

You know what, while that toy has it's flaws, it is very very fun to mess with and transform. Really, the only flaw is that backpack in robot mode that ruins his silouette.

Great article Will! I'm not going to complain about more visibility for Thunderhowl!

Bumbleswoop and Slugtron are great names, but Wheelgrim? I woulda named him Grimjack...or Wheelock. Yeah, Wheelock...and he comes with a boot accessory to lock up other car transformers!

Yeah, it's terrible name. With options like Grimjack and Lockjack they went with Wheelgrim? Not crazy about that one.

Also what did they do to Wheeljack's face!? They shaved the guy, the beard was his best feature! Also not crazy about Grimlock being so gold, I doubt he'll look like that on the cartoon.

I got Deluxe Prowl and I was very impressed. So much so that I had to compared it to the normal Earthrise version. No, I didn't order that Amazon 2 pack so we will have to settle with ER Barricade.

Cyberverse Prowl is superbly painted. Plus the overall shape of the car is better, more "real cop car."

Image

Image

In robot mode, Cyberverse get points for having the shoulder canons integrated to the bot. Plus he's very satisfying to transform.

Image

From the side, both look thin and manage their backpack well.

Image

From the back, it's a big "oof" for the ER because of the hollow legs. You'd expect this on a Cyberverse, not a Generations. Plus, Prowl's legs are covered with extra panels! But the Cyber have a questionable fault. Why the hollow forearms? Cyber also have the hollow inner thighs.

Image

Overall, I think Deluxe Prowl is the superior toy. More fun to transform, look better at all times, and feel SOLID in hand. Also, spark effects!

How does Deluxe Prowl compare to Warrior Prowl? Many were calling the Warrior a great toy long before the Deluxe came out.

Oh great, the same cheap Transformers repackaged to shelfwarm for another 6 months. Seems like a better idea than producing WFC Transformers.. the shelves have been EMPTY for far too long in VA. All I ever seem to see are Cyberverse

As I've said before, I've never touched the Cyberverse toyline, and while I was mildly interested in the Deluxes and Maccadam, I eventually never got any of them. That being said, I do still like a lot of these figures, I'm mostly talking about the Deluxes and Sludge, so I may get a couple if I see them at retail or if any come up on tge Smyths website. I'm guessing I've missed the boat on building Maccadam though?

Most of the figures needed for Maccadam can be found on Hasbro's eBay page, plus it looks like the repacks of the earlier waves come with the BAF parts.

Those things shelfwarm where you are? I can't recall the last time I've actually seen Cyberverse figures in a store. Last time I went to Target, all that was left was one SS RotF Soundwave, one Tiny Turbo Changer, and so many of that damn Bumblebee/Spike thing that not only was its peg full, but it had taken over another peg and filled THAT up too.

Honestly, all I wanted from Dead End was for him to have that really cool gun that he had on the show, and it looks like he does. That he seems to be decently poseable for a Cyberverse figure is just icing on the cake. I might be interested in picking him up if I can find him.

That Buzzworthy set is now half off. I almost grabbed a second then I saw Marvel Legends Katy from the new Shang-Chi movie was also half off.

yes, and that sounds about on par with Target's terrible distribution from warehouse to stores

Thankfully they appear to be on sale now... hopefully that means they'll be gone sooner than later

First off, Dead End looks great. I am super excited to have a proper transforming toy of that specific version! Dead End to me was the breakout old character reimagined of Cyberverse.

Sludge is still looking great, I am excited for him.

There are now 4 crash combiners if you include the Primelock and Bumblegrim in Buzzworthy Bumblebee, and I look forward to more. I actually enjoyed the gimmick

If you include those, we have 5 crash combiners coming out this year.

Transformers Cyberverse Deluxe Cheetor Revealed

We have a gorgeous reveal for you today with Transformers Cyberverse Deluxe Cheetor. While there can always be more paint, the sculpt matches the screen model with great precision. He even has the detail of his beast tail being wrapped around his waist in robot mode. These images, posted on Walmart's website, show that he comes with armour that brings many homages together. The blades are an homage to the Beast Machines Night Slash Cheetor toy, the beast battle mask are an homage to G1 Catilla (both in terms of the inner bot aesthetic and the feature of placing a battle mask on the beast shell) and for a stretch, the shoulder claws in beast mode are reminiscent of the Prime Thundertron design, whos Alpha Trizer repaint was also Cheetor.

So lots of fun wrapped in a nice little windowless package. You'll let us know what you think.
