Wow, that's big news! (That I don't have time to post as I'm heading out to dinner with my brother) Nicely done, Hasbro!

Haha yeah, there doesn't seem to be any sort of weapon handle pegs, just pure Micromaster-y goodness. :x

Though, this does mean the American Rescue Patrol Team will remain incomplete, sadly...

Well that was a nice email to see.

I just checked the numbers on him and they jumped up again. It's up to 27,442 now vs Victory Saber's 26,211. As others have said though that number is bound to go down as payments get declined or people opt out still as the email said there's still time to do that. But it looks like there's going to be about an even number of them as I would imagine it loosing about 1200 or so by the time you can't back out anymore.

And while I was looking things up while typing this, someone beat me to saying that they don't have the gun modes from the looks of them so far. I both love and kind of dislike that. I didn't mind it on some of them but on others, it was just horrible. But it's probably for the best though.

I wonder if this means they'll be doing some more Micromaster. I know it's said that they didn't sell well but I never seen them clogging pegs. They seemed to sell fairly steadily as far as the stores I frequented anyway.

Around my area I haven't really seen them clog shelves either, in some cases it was even difficult getting some of them (particularly Soundwave's partners), but they definitely seemed to have sold better than the Battlemasters. Those I have indeed seen warm pegs in comparison to Micromasters.

I've seen nothing past the first 3 waves, that includes the Combiners and Off-Road Patrol that I wanted, plus stupidly skipped the Earthrise releases. :HEADHURTS:

Indeed. Just picked up two more Slitherfang from Ollie's. Then picked up a few more with some Rungs for the HOA's Christmas presents for the kiddies. So yeah, those definitely ended up clogging shelves. I don't think I ever seen any of the Micromasters at discount stores and not for this long after if I did see any.

I tried to help the Battlemasters sell more though as I purchased like 20 or so Soundbarrier, 18 or so Slitherfang now, 12 or so Doublecrossers and then two or three each of most of the Targetmasters. I didn't purchase any extra Micromasters though. Well, other than technically Fire and Holi. One of each was enough. I do wish I picked up more Smashdowns. I only have the one as I was expecting it to get redecoed at some point just like I'm still waiting on them to do with Wingfinger.

Man, that surprise tier of micromasters is neat, such a nice little bro move on Hasbros part there. Makes me more excited for Deathsaurus actually.

And with that, here is a little look at the Victory cast and how we are looking at in terms of completion. If you count CW Liokaiser, and so long as Dinoking does happen in Legacy, we are only short the Landcross and Road Caesar combiner teams for the cast! Note: I do want a new Liokaiser, but the CW counts as far as the combiner goes in my mind.

I have an idea about how Multiforce/Landcross could be done in Generations, but I don't want to post it here and further dilute the topic, I'll be posting it in the things that wont get made topic later.

Hasbro Reveals Secret Bonus Micromasters for HasLab Deathsaurus

PostPosted: Tue Dec 13, 2022 7:48 pm

If you were one of the ones that thought Hasbro would reveal a secret third tier for HasLab Deathsaurus then give yourself a pat on the back! Though not explicitly called a "tier", Hasbro, via email, has let backers know that as a thank you they will be including Micromasters Pīpō and Boater with every order to complete the Rescue Patrol that started with the Victory Saber campaign. These are entirely new molds that will almost certainly never see release outside of here.

Pictures of the new figures can be seen below along with the email from Hasbro. Deathsaurus blew away expectations by ending with over 27,000 figures backed (currently 27,442), more than that of Victory Saber's 26,211. But the final number wont be known for a little longer as they've given backers until January 6, 2023 to cancel if they choose, as well as unresolved payment issues.

Transformers Generations Deathsaurus HasLab Backer,

Congratulations! We're happy to announce that the Transformers Generations Deathsaurus HasLab project has met its backing goal and will officially go into production!

We just learned that the evil Deathsaurus has kidnapped Pīpō and Boater! Good news, Transformers fans! Your overwhelming support of this HasLab saved the two members of the Autobot Rescue Patrol Team from the clutches of the Decepticons!

As a THANK YOU for your support in making the Transformers Generations Deathsaurus campaign our most successful Transformers HasLab to date, each product will include Pīpō and Boater figures seen here:

AWESOME!

Though it raises even further possibilities:

-Does Hasbro have digital renders of all the members for the other halves of the Micromaster Patrols they updated during the WFC trilogy?

-Do they also have some sort of half-assed combined weapon mode?

-Would 28,000 DS backers be the super-duper-secret tier that would've given us the medical equipment Fixit used to separate Megatron and Ratchet, and the magnetic cable Seawatch used to take Bludgeon waterskiing? More likely Jan's Illumina II mech. Dammit, if only I could've bought two...

Well at least one micromaster team will be complete. Hasbro new micromasters are not anything to knock ones socks off but I do appreciate this. They will no doubt be a fine addition to my collection.

Technically speaking the Race Track Patrol is also complete, albeit with straight redecos and one member renamed.

They don't appear to be combinable, if they were I'm sure they would have shown that. I don't think them getting made had so much to do with exceeding VS's orders, but simply exceeding a secret number, most likely 20K since that's would have been the next step up from the previous tiers.

I'd actually like a proper LioKaiser as well, but I still count the CW one. Too bad we just couldn't get 2 customized Deluxe Leozak and Jagullar to work with the CW aesthetic, and still use the others as limbs.

Also there is Black Shadow (Sky Shadow), which we had in TR , and Blue Bacchus which still hasn't happened het (they appeared as much as Greatshot did). Also still hoping for proper sized Deluxe Dinoforce members instead of the Core Class ones from core Dinobots.

I am super happy too. It's so cool that these are new molds and unhindered by a third weapon mode.

This is great news for all of us.

I am very appreciative of this surprise bonus, and it really helps make the price more reasonable, but I feel like they should have revealed these BEFORE they ended the run to get some extra sales. Maybe not many, I doubt people would back this JUST for Micromasters, but I would be disappointed if I was on the fence and then found out about these

Personally, now that we have a better deathsaurus, I would prefer a POTP Starscream as Leozack and Jagullar and Deathcobra as CW Limbs

From what I read, it seems a secret tier is the preferred option if given a choice for fans. Numbers only exploded when everything was truly funded. Having these at a higher tier, like 27000 would definitely have created the oposite effect.

I plan to customize that Starscream into Leozack someday too, and have a green KO of Alpha Bravo to customize into Deathcobra (both with Shapeways parts), but as for Jalagar (is it Jagullar? That spelling makes me imagine him trying to blow up Winnie the Pooh), if he can't be the waist, maybe he should be a scout that forms LioKaiser's gun, with Killbison's cannons attached to him? That way all 6 originals could sort of form LK. I still can't decide what Prime Wars figure to use as his base. I've seen Drag Strip customized into a deluxe, and Beachcomber seems most natural for a scout, but maybe Roadtrap would work better?

"Jallguar". Like "Jaguar" but with two Ls between the "Ja" and the "guar". "Jall-guar".

These will most likely remain exclusive to the Deathsaurus package, so only available though Haslab
