Apparently they're still continuing this line with a Soundwave Thunder Machine. Includes two o-ring figures, Zartan and his sister Zarana, and a Ravage figure too.

I'm really excited for this. JTprime says it goes up for order tomorrow. The rumored Autobot companion is Sgt. Slaughter with the Triple-T, though I don't know which bot, and I'm not sure when that's expected.

That vehicle is so stupid looking, I can just LOVE IT!
Also, TWO cobra figures this time around? Sweet!

And also, the Ravage that came with the SDCC set with Baroness. NICE!

That bot is also not a pile of kibble cancer. Impressive!

Thanks to JTPrime17 and Spider5800 for letting us know of the images showing us our first look at the new Transformers/GI Joe crossover figure. This time, a Soundwave Thunder Machine. It includes two o-ring figures, Zartan and his sister Zarana, along with the MP Ravage figure in a blue deco. According to JTPrime17, this set retails for 125 euros, so the USD price point would be around the $120 mark. It should be up for preorder today. Let us know what you think.

Looks like the best one so far to me. And it looks like MP Ravage that Soundy can actually store in his chest! Or maybe that's just me hoping beyond hope.

I have a few modern Joe figures to go with these guys, but few modern Cobra ones. I'm more of a modern toy fan than a vintage one.

I'll not rely on the European price because they tend to be surcharged.
I expect this set to be around the same price as Megatron. Still, there's 2 more figures that come with the bot and it looks like there's way less hollow spaces this time around. So maybe it will be the most expensive one to date.

Regardless, once the preorders are up, I'll reserve my copy.

I was trying to ignore this line and now they throw in MP Howlback this way. Brutal

Off, you and me both. At least this Soundwave looks pretty good and really solid compared the other two! I don't even mind the red in bot mode, reminds me a little of Cyberverse Soundwave.

Really glad they didn't use one of the other Ravage molds. Not keen on the yellow lights (mainly the central thingy) but it might be true to the original vehicle. Def a buy to go with the other two but don't think I can wait for it to go on sale like the others as it looks like it is going to be a must buy for gi joe collectors.

Yes they do, I live there (Holland) we get what you get atleast 150% to 200% the price and in euro's.
Not that we make twice as much as you guys do, we also live in very tiny houses -_-

This one looks cool, which I don't like because now I have to get that Megatron, the cheapest new here in Holland is 80 euro's which is still a bit too much (it started at 120 euro's for more than 6 months)

Any european here who has a import store which has better prices?

Love the mashup, Soundwave's always been my favorite, and Zartan is his natural Cobra Counterpart, I intend to get this and the other Joe-Formers someday, but thanks to making the dark blue and red of the original Thunder Machine so much louder here, along with those overhead lights, there's only one Transformer I can see when I look at that vehicle mode:

ENERGON IRONHIDE

It's going to take a lot of time and effort to see this as the intended Soundwave. But someday. Maybe. I hope.

80 Euros is not that bad of a price for an European.
I paid my Megatron around that price with the taxes. So depending on your taxes, it may not be worth it to import a "cheaper" one. Especially when adding high shipping costs and sureshot customs.

I think zavvi delivers to your realm and they usually have megatron and bee on sale.

Does anyone know if this will be a color changing Zartan figure like in the old days?

Haven't seen confirmation, but I would think it's very unlikely. We'll know for sure at 1 PM ET today when it goes on sale

With the way the reds are placed plus those shoulder wheels all I see is a Constuct-Bot with some extra gap filler

Actual retail price on Pulse is $99.99. No additional photos.

Isn't mentioned on the site blurb, it does say "G.I. Joe-inspired weapon accessories and details" without mentioning any (just all of Soundwave's parts and the chain) and I swear this photo shows Zartan with a disguise mask on.

Soundwave actually looks really nice. Much better than Megs and Bee did.

Thanks for the info Kanrabat, our prices are incl. taxes and shipping within holland is 7/7,5 euro (about 8 usd) so importing through ebay would be a bad choice.

That honestly look the coolest, and I'm going to have a very difficult time saying no to getting it!
I mean I think this is the best Collaborative item they've done yet, Bee Buggy was a total misuse of alt mode and the JP them just doesn't really fit well IMO. Historic wise Joe and Transformer crossover makes the most sense anyway as they have had connections for decades.

Megatron was cool looking too and probably a close second place to SW, bases purely on accessories and deco style.

All that said, I'm not really feeling the $100 price tag for this set.

I wonder though, could we be looking at the new Ravage for an eventual G1 SW release? It does look very G1 and a lot better than the last few attempts. The only issue I see is how it might transform into a cassette, to which they seem to have left that picture out.

Well, makes sense they'd go all out for this one. I mean hey - it's Soundwave.

This was officially announced in the Yo Joe June reveal today, and in the video they confirmed he does NOT have the color change gimmick.

That price though... ouch.
