Unconfirmed rumor... However... It's rumored that the 4 pack is going to be reissues of the 4 Titan Class figures Metroplex (a new updated mold), Fortress Maximus (also a new mold and packed with his sword this time since Hasbro is deciding that only giving it to the SDCC version was messed up to fans), Omega Supreme, and Scorponok. This is to go with the Titan Class Ark and Attack on Titan: Final season. The rumor points out "Commemorating both the Ark and AoT:FS: that's 2 things. Look where the 4 pack is situated. That's 2 spaces before the Titan Class Ark listing. 2X2=4. 4 pack, 4 city-bots that are Titans. Now you add the 4 from the 4 pack with the 4 from the 4 city-bots, and 1 from Devastator who is being left out and you get 9. Yup, 9 Titans. And since Devastator is being left out, what does that mean? There is one more Titan Class figure coming that has been left out from the list. Majin Zarak CONFIRMED!!!"

This makes me sad, because I really want a Majin Zarak Titan :(

Majin Zarak is my ultimate want. He's my holy grail. He's perfect for a Titan Class in a Kingdom which is dedicated to Beast Wars. Or with them doing the 86 movie in Studio Series, maybe they can do Majin Zarak as a Titan Class in SS since "Lio Convoy in Imminent Danger" is technically a movie... I can only hope.

You'll have to wait for them to do a titan class again since the rumours are its being shelved for two commander class releases

I had no idea who this character was, looked him up on the wiki, and he's cool as hell. Does he really need to be a titan class, though?

If they really are shelving the titan class in favor of two commander class, I hope we can get some non G1 guys in that size class. Like Beast Wars, which really only has 2 characters worthy of it: Optimal Optimus and Transmetal 2 Megatron. Maaaaybe Tigerhawk. If they keep the three-year scheme for the Generations toylines, they would take up less than half the slots.

Also, I personally don't care for Unicron Trilogy at all, but Armada and Energon Optimus look like great candidates for future Commander Class toys, I hope they make some for those who like the series.

Does he need to be? Well, I guess I'd be okay with him at Commander Class, but I would much prefer him to be Titan. Majin Zarak towers over everyone in the movie and he's on par with the city-bots in size. They could also bring out core class Flashing Lio Convoy and Burning Convoy (translucent red Primal) to go along with him. Now I'm just day dreaming of the possibilities.

Well, we already had OpOp at the Leader size so who knows if they'll feel like re-doing him at Commander size, given the G1 focus.

I have mixed feelings about Unicron Trilogy updates. Even Universe/Henkei Hot Shot, easily the best of the ones we've had so far, has some notable losses compared to the original Armada Hot Shot to weigh against all his gains.

As far as Commanders go... I'd still like to see Commander do-overs of Ultra Magnus and Overlord. Ultra Magnus would be able to have both a separate, Voyager-height cab robot and a more G1 trailer - one big enough to hold 4 Deluxes in car mode, no less. Overlord would scale better with Legends God Ginrai and be able to have his full base mode.

but i wish the vehicle mode didnt look like it was hugging the ground like a lowrider :-?

Could that mixed feeling about Unicron Trilogy come from how reliant on the series' main gimmick those toys were? It's pretty difficult to make a gimmick heavy toy that is also on par with today's standard for detail and articulation, so the gimmicks get removed, and the design loses a bit of its magic.

As for commander do overs, I don't see Overlord's being that necessary, but I do see it with Ultra Magnus, if only to get a fully functional alt mode. Powermaster Optimus Prime is an update I don't think worked well enough as a Leader class, it lacks the whole "Optimus powers up aspect" which I think is the main appeal of the design.

However, I'd rather they branch out and update characters who've never had an update first, rather than do again guys who've already had an update within the last five years.

I must have gotten a better Grapple figure than others, because I haven't seen this crane/peg base error that others have mentioned. Does it snap off easy or something? Maybe it's because I'm very ginger with my figures when I transform them, but he seems fine to me.

Basically, the pegs on the base of the crane thingy tab wayyy too tightly into the feet, which can often cause them to eventually break off.

I must have gotten lucky then - they come out pretty easy from mine. Just brace a little and pull, and they slide out with very little resistance.

Yeah.. It usually comes down to the holes in Grapple's feet tending to be deformed and narrower than the 5mm diameter they should be (so says a guy on TFW who took a caliper to both). You can either file the pegs, or widen the hole.

I think a Commander re-do for Overlord is necessary at some point, because A. the Titans Return version comes up short next to God Ginrai and B. The Titans Return base mode is decidedly less impressive than this:

And hey, it would go nicely with a SELECTs Black Zarak if they did one.

I really am curious to know who will be included in the 4 pack...
Makes me wonder if it will be 4 Decepticons, 4 Autobots (because I could see a set that is meant to go with the Ark), or maybe even 2 and 2 with a couple being repaints (seekers and Datsuns). Something like this makes the most sense to me... As a kid I would've loved a set that included both bad guys and good guys. Plus it probably adds to the variety of alt modes included.

Did you order him from Pulse? I have a theory about Pulse figures being from later production runs than other retailers (hence their delayed releases). I got Grapple from there and he's completely fine, same goes for Blackarachnia's tab.
I can't comment on Cheetor's tab from Pulse (I'm waiting for the Netflix variant with its sexy sexy metallics) but I assume it's the same.

Not necessarily. Got Blackarachnia through pulse, tab still broke. Was a normal length tab too, as far as I can tell.

What if they did a Commander Class Combiner (like they did with Devastator as a Titan Class) for Kingdom? They have a perfect 3 bot Combiner that could definitely use an update straight from Beast Wars too (II, if you get it): Magnaboss. Prowl (Lio Junior) Silverbolt (no, not dog/bird, just bird. Skywarp, but a good guy), and Ironhide (Santon). His 3 bots all stay with the organic animal look of Kingdom, and can go along with that Tripredicus Council they made a little bit ago.

Until Rodimus was semi-confirmed/leaked, I thought this might be the way they were going to go. Personally, I would have loved if it was the Beast Wars II color scheme, with maybe a Selects deluxe Prowl version cause he was the only one with any major individual paint difference.

New Video Review of Transformers Kingdom Leader Class Earth Mode Ultra Magnus

Greetings Seibertronians! In perfect timing with the Transformers animated movie's 35th anniversary, Ultra Magnus is set to hit retail. This Earth Mode version is a retool of the Ultra Magnus that was released back in Siege (and in the Netflix subline with a new deco). This retool brings the robot mode (and the inner white prime robot mode) back in line with the G1 toon, and the alt mode recieved work.

Fellow Seibertron user, PrimeVsPrime has managed to secure one and has reviewed it for the world to see.

Check out the embedded review below:

Thanks to Seibertron user, Tuned Agent, for sharing this news.

Will you be getting this Magnus? Or are you planning on sticking with the Siege, or even Combiner Wars, versions of the character?

Let us know in the Energon Pub and stay tuned to Seibertron for all the latest news and reviews!

Very first thing: I love the cab robot in robot mode. Looks great. If I end up getting this, that will be the reason.

Only question is, is the rest of the figure worth it? Because I agree with the review, the truck mode is horrible. Looks good from the front, but that's it. During the review I was even wondering if he had put the trailer on correctly, as the Siege version was further up to the cab where it covered the hands and forearms and the shoulder pieces actually touched the back wheel assembly.

Speaking if the shoulder pieces, I think reversing the paint process from the Siege version made them look much worse. I do like the clean look of the chest better, but if I get this, I'm not sure if I'll display it combined. I might try putting together 1 great looking figure from both versions, which have their pros and cons. **** that accent is annoying...

I like robot mode, but hoo boy, truck mode is rough. The arms and hands out the back of the cab look as bad as the stock photos suggested (I'd hoped that maybe it was mistransformed).

I think I'm going to stick with POTP Magnus, which, while not a perfect G1 representation, is close enough for my liking.
