Oh my god, first we have people complaining about his robot size, then about his show accuracy, then about his alt-mode, then about his alt-mode size, then again about his robot size, then about the stupid backpack we can only notice when looking at him from the back, then about his alt-mode again, and now we're fighting over something as meaningless as anime vs cartoon in relation to the face switching gimmick that has zero impact on the toy.
:APPLAUSE:

What's next, are we going to complain about this being G1 Bumblebee instead of Movie? Or maybe about it being yellow when red is soo much better.

My theory is that those who complain about the toy are trying to convince themselves that they don't want the toy, so they are picking it apart. Not to worry, BB will be awesome. I'm psyched and no amount of fan-kvetching will change that.

Don't be silly, Dead Metal. The next complaints will obviously be that altmode can't smile like in "Fire on the Mountain."

LOST Cybertronian wrote:The Images of Masterpiece Bumblebee just keep coming. Shogo Hasui is up to his twitter shinanegans again tweeting a size comparison between upcoming MP-21 Bumblebee and MP-17 Prowl. The image shows how the size of these two figures compare in robot mode with Bumblebee coming to just under Prowl's chest. Check out the image for yourself.

Fellow Seibertron.com user robotmel has pointed us towards the Planet Iacon Facebook fanpage, as they have uploaded a colour scan of the bottom half of a figure magazine - which shows off the upcoming Takara Tomy Transformers Masterpiece MP-21 Bumblebee in his Volkswagen vehicle mode and Spike in the Excel Suit, both standing up and as the er- vehicle mode, too. Check out the image below, and here's hoping for the top half of the same page, too!

Seeing it in colour does improve it, but the swinging panel for the Autobot logo is... well... its nasty and unnecessary.

Yes a Beatle is about the exact same size as a Fairlady Z.

Good point. Back in the day my friend had a Datsun 280Z and I had a 1978 VW Super Beetle. Both were about the same size.

I thought the robots were the template for the scale, not the vehicles. But hey.

That Bumblebee... there's no more appropriate word to describe these toys other than "Masterpiece."

Wish we had an actual scan. Looks like there are more colour photos above.
