I haven't even seen wave 1 in stores. I have Optimus, but I got him offline. And I just ordered Motermaster and Silverbolt online, earlier. But I've yet to see a single thing in stores, besides the Legends figures, or whatever they're calling them now, in one Toys R Us.

I saw Optimus in a Wal-Mart, today. First time I've seen anything but the deluxes and legends.

Yeah everything over here in Oregon is massively massively dead. I think it's the port disputes exacerbating the distribution problems.

I just had a thought. What do you guys think Takara will do with Leader Ultra Magnus should they decide to release it? I mean, specifically, what might they do with Minimus Ambus? The guy doesn't exist in Japanese fiction, so for all we know Takara could make the little guy into a new character and use his gimmick of hiding inside the larger Magnus figure as a means to declare him a new kind of "-master" type character, like a Powermaster or something (not a Godmaster, as Nucleon Quest Super Convoy was a Powermaster, so he set that precedent).

FINALLY spotted some Wave 1 figures in a Western NY Wal-Mart. Just deluxes and legends. I'm hoping that the Stunticons aren't delayed as bad.

I just can't bring myself to care overly much about the leader class ultra Magnus. Maybe if I followed ITW comics more and knew the story behind the character, but I don't so to me it doesn't hold a candle to masterpiece ultra Magnus.

Well MP Magnus is amazing so I can see why people would want to keep the masterpiece instead of getting the leader class.

I am a bit behind in my comics but I quite like IDW Magnus from what I've seen of him but I know nothing about Minimus apart from he's the little guy inside magnus.

There's not much to tell other than Minimus is just another in a long line of bots to wear the armour. One dies, they are replaced

Looking at his shoulders, I reckon there's a crappy mode for UM.

Ug - opened my Dragstrip yesterday and started to transform him... Only to have his hood break off clean...

Anyone else having issues with these Combiners? Having to send mine back to Amazon and good thing to picked him up for $2 cheaper...

Hoping these don't end up being all so cheap like this...

They'll color him red and make him Powered Buggy.

I havent had any problems, they actually feel more durable and hefty than the deluxes of last year.

Funny because I just finished a post about quality in the Devy thread.

i've heard all of the cw optimus have bad heads. also heard of someone's superion head snapping off. not sure if that's a thing with superions or not.

Hello, here are two things that Ben Yee mentioned in regards to his tour at Toy Fair and speaking to all the Hasbro execs:

Notes:

Devastator is a mass release, not a Toys R Us exclusive as previously rumored.
There was no mention of Wildrider and Slingshot at Toy Fair one way or another.

I've had no problems with AB, and I second the comment about these feeling more durable.

After my little rant in the Devy thread, I third the durability statement.

UM looks great. Shows that I really need to get caught up on the comics. I'm really far behind.

Fortunately, no problems with any of my Hasbro Combiner Wars.

However, the TakaraTomy Legends LG10 Arcee I just got, has weapons that have difficulty pegging on - quite like Hasbro Voyager AOE Hound. Takes a while to get it right.

If you look at it though its on that swivel joint. Any amount of pressure on that would cause it. Had I gave it to my kids I am sure they would have snapped it within no time at all.

I suppose the benefit is I was able to get 15% off instead of paying 16.99 for it!

wow we're talking wave 3 release already? Havent eve seen wave 1 here except that one time at target and i still havent seen arcee, chromia or brainstorm. Hasbro really needs to fix this distribution/release issues.
